Running at the defense is something we've needed for a while now, Lovenkrands was probably the last player we had to have some kind of sucess with that form of play. Also read earlier on that Darcheville plays on the left mostly (and noticed it in that vid) so he might be on the left wing more often than not.

So would i. I dunno what has happened to Sionko, in his first few games he was reminiscent of Kanchelskis but he seems to have died a death. Adam may not do a whole lot else but at least he gets goals for the team.... reminiscent of Boyd.

If we get in any other central defenders then that must mean one of the current ones would have to be leaving. Dont think it would be worthwhile going for Todd though, we've got enough experieced/semi experienced ones in there at the moment. I hope Webster and Svensson stay and get a good pre season under their belts. That would make more sense to me.

Fabregas or Adam?.... hmm, toughie! If we ever find a player of any of the aboves stature... he'll be with us for a season at most before he moves on. Another �£8m a la JAB wouldnt go amiss though.

I wouldnt go by his goal scoring record. Prso was considered a striker when he joined us wasnt he? He turned into the supply man.... its gonna be weird not seeing him next season.

I think with Rae moving on, we'll see Murray more as midfield cover next season as we have enough cover in Papac and Smith for LB. We do need a RB though. Although Hutton is playing well right now (long may it continue!) he might go back to his old self after the summer and although ive heard good things about Lowing, i dont think WS will consider him as a fulltime back up player for the RB position quite yet. Fergie, Hemdani and Thomson are sufficient for the CM position. I dont think Buffel will be a ger next year. Hopefully we'll get Brown in in the summer and himself & Burke (and Novo if he stays) can fight it out for the RM position. We definately need another LM, especially with Prso leaving, i hated when he's put out there anyway. Adam is doing a fantastic job smashing in the goals this season but he's not exactly a player who sets the heather alight with his ability in other departments other than shooting. Unless Sebo and/or Novo leave, i dont think we'll be seeing anymore new strikers next season.

Generally in a striker you would want someone in their mid 20's. Someone who is experienced yet fit and young enough to break down defenses and bag a few goals. Having said that, Prso is 33 (?) now and is still able to do that and this guy coming in looks alot faster than him so im quite glad we've got him.

I prefer it that way, speculation pisses me off, lol.

Looks pretty decent from that, wouldnt hurt if he was as good as the outgoing guy we signed on a bosman 3 years ago.

These are the first two comments in the records hotline today. The first one contradicts herself by letting EVERYONE know about their past exploits.... and didnt tic have the bright idea of putting the star to celebrate their 'european exploits' AFTER Rangers put the 5 stars on their shirt. Correct me if im wrong but i think so. Second comment is just stupid, we've all acknowledged we're embarrsed by the past few seasons... but (a) we have qualified for the CL yet and (b) why should we be embarrased about qualifing through finishing 2nd? Its Uefa who have given the SPL these options.

Agree with all that Calscot... but when it comes to Eck's signings, he did make some gaffs, lol. Capoucho (although that wasnt expected) Emerson, Ostenstad, Bernard, Maniero to name a few. Although Boyd and Hemdani have probably turned out to be his best signings.

If we're talking bout including all the leagues for goal of the season then Messi's from a few weeks ago gets my vote, althought Sevilles first goal against Real at the weekend was pretty good an all. But yeah id have Scholes' for the EPL goal of the season. Ibrahimovic's goal for Ajax was about 5 or so years ago now i think, he was playing for Juve last year.

I read earlier on that he is trying to install the same spirit in the dressing room as the 9IAR era, and that to me is just as important as having good players in the team. I remember earlier in the seaons, i think it was Hemdani who said there was a bit of a split in the dressing room between the scots and foreigners and we all know where that got us. Ally is 100% right on the matter of finishing 2nd, if any player think that that is good enough for Rangers then they are sorely mistaken and shouldnt be at the club. Its not like tic have a better quality of players at their disposal, they dont, at best we're on a par and should not be as far behind as we have been the past two seasons. Having said that, i am relieved that we have now cut the points difference down to single figures... and thats a relief i hope i wont have to feel at this time next season.
