Eto'o is out for two months.... now they only have back up, oh... its Henry. :fish: Lyon and Stuttgart could easily be there for the taking IMO. Im happy with it.

Although the work ethic of the current team has improved dramatically since the turn of the year, its still not as good as the '92 team, and i dont think Boyd would have a chance against '92 Gough. So im for the old team.

Teehee .... fisty cuffs (almost)
-
Thought the exact same thing as the whistle sounded.... sweetest sound ive heard in a long time btw.
-
Best all round i think, he was never going to get back in the team unless we had a severe injury crisis. Like Barry says, hope he does well... and comes back a new player next season.
-
The Fifa rankings are an absolute joke, i never pay attention to them, although it is nice to see us on the right side of 50th!
-
Id have been very surprised if Hutton wasnt in the starting line up. Looks like an alright team. As WTD said, just hope none of our players get injured, would be a nightmare if that started happening with the strong start we've have to the season.
-
That was so hard to read that i just couldnt stop... :uzi: I liked the 7 fingers part though.

Although its only been one game, i agree it does look very promising for the Hutton/Whittaker partnership. Last time i remember having good communication down one side was when Numan was playing for us (on the left obviously), Albertz/Gio/Lovenkrands.... didnt really matter who was playing in front of him, he linked up well with all of them. Laudrup was probably the last time we had it on the right!
-
I would have been happy if he signed for £1.5 but i thought the £2-£2.5m price we paid was a bit pricey. So far he's doing a good job of proving me wrong.
-
Yeah i remember when he was injured there was noise about him being lazy and playing it out a bit, but he's shown that's not the case. IMO he's been the best passer in the team for at least a year, although he's had a slow start to the season compared to Thomsom, he's still a very important player for us. I agree with him about Novo too, the guy has the club in his heart which has been rare (apart from Prso) for a while now and i hope he's still at Ibrox next season.
-
As long as we qualify for the group stages i dont care what pot we're in... and i certainly dont care which they're in. Enough of the sad smilies. PMA.
-
I thought PLG had about £4m left in his kitty that he didnt feel the need to spend?... Think i read that somewhere on here in January. Great read btw Frankie, especially the last paragraph. Things are really looking up right now and noising up Ibrox can only bring us and the players more confidence, and hopefully trophies.

Is that Stevie Smith? Good news if it is.
-
I doubt we'll see Novo up front again when everyone is fully fit. He'll be on the right running from midfield more than likely, which is alright by me cause he's good at it! Way ahead of Burkey in that capacity.

Welcome to the club DC. Dont know a whole lot about him either, but sometimes thats the best way... might turn out to be a surprise success.

Is the sun shining that wee bit brighter today?
Laudbertz replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
The only thing i hear clearly around the 75th minute mark was someone shout 'get intae them Rangers, this team are f*cking shite!' lol. -
Lol, the guy must have thought you REALLY wanted the mixer and were willing to do anything to get it. Oh and to switch back on topic, Gordon isnt anywhere near the standard of Cech, but the good thing is he has the potential for it and playing in the Prem can only be an added bonus for the national team.
-
Indeed it is, although i would find it more threatening and sh*t myself if you fired an actual gun at me.... especially 4 of them!
-
...and an ugly bastard an all, lol, fantastic player though.
-
Really?.... We'd never have guessed....
-
Exactly, treble it and they're closer. I dont want him to go though, himself and thommo in midfield and BF playing off them is finally being used to good effect and i want that to continue.

You got the inside scoop Frankie? Does another signing start with N and end with aismith?
