    I know that, and im not one who has a business head, but in the case of the club would the assets not be first port of call rather than the staff? We know all too well the sacrifices that staff, whether playing or backroom, have to take at times in order to keep things ticking over. Hope it doesnt come to that.

    Incidentally, who did Magath meet with when he was in Glasgow a few weeks back? I asked this in another thread but not sure it got answered, actually it may be that it was a rumour that he was in Glasgow, just curious as to how it came to light which 'side' he is on.

    Its one thing to strip a football club down to its bare bones as he is attempting with us, but its a whole other thing to treat employees like that. He wont have to deliver the bad news himself though so I expect he's sleeping fine at night.

    Exactly, that is what we should avoid happening again. If we had the choice, we would have a manager with experience and a good grasp of scottish football in order to take us forward. EDIT : I'd happily give Rino until end of this season to see what he can do though.

    Imagine if Lemon was still in charge of them and Rino was our boss, more chance of a fight on the sidelines than on the pitch! haha Would love him as a coach, but he's nowhere near earned his stripes to take on the big job yet.

    It was just a conversation via telephone, but when I heard Sarver speaking on Sky Sports News after his 2nd bid got rejected, I really liked what the guy had to say for himself, he sounded genuine. But, the pessimist that has grown inside me in recent Rangers times knows that sounding genuine and being genuine are very different things. I hope he is involved in some form after the EGM, all being well that it goes the good guys way.

    You could see from his interview at the Hearts game that he was not a happy chappy, good luck to him. Who's next in the hot seat? My money's on Luis Enrique! Id be surprised if it was anyone outside of the current staff.

It's weird seeing so many posts about shares (totally over my head) and whatnot, I long for the day when we fans can get back to talking about the football! But at the same time, im really liking that all this information is available cause I wouldn't have the first clue as to where to find it.

    Hi. As my post count will show I'm not a new member, but I havent been here since, I think around 2008/9, wasnt banned or anything, I just left. Ive been back for a little while but havent posted until now. Still recognize alot of names so I wont be new to all of you, former name was just chris but asked Frankie to change it the other day, hopefully the new era under a betterly managed club will bring with it the calibre of player when we had like the two alagamations in my new username, a man can dream.

    Like Craig i highly doubt we will get all those players, although just 2 of them would be good. Been so pissed off since Monday's shite.... you gotta admire Murray for trying! (oh wait, no you dont) Of all 4 of those people im most confident in getting Loovens, but i dunno the Palermo guy, think ive heard the name. McFadden would be quite the coup i must admit. Lots of people on here are indifferent to the boy but i think he'd do a good job for us.
