They've fobbed you off, mate, not that I'm too surprised. I didn't even know that Ross Blyth was involved in this.

The unluckiest millionaire in the world! -
I'd say that footballers are born, and that with the right sort of coaching, the can be made better. One of the biggest faults for many a year has been the philosophy that a footballer can be made from someone who was born an athlete. Thankfully, the likes of Messi, Xavi and Iniesta have shown this not to be the only way of going about things. The recent u15 squad only had one player from outwith a Scottish club, Brentford, strangely enough, Obviously a few more will go to English clubs as they get older, but it still highlights failings at Rangers. McDowall may be a great youth coach, but if so, he may be better utilised elsewhere. There doesn't appear to be any joined-up thinking from the first team down. Each step should see a seamless step up to the next level. As has been shown, we don't have the draw to ensure that 18 year olds will come to us rather than head for the more lucrative English leagues, even when they are self-confessed Rangers fans.

Thanks for posting your reply from them. Whoever sent you the reply obvously has no recollection of why Dunfermline got an SPL fine for ticket pricing irregularities in 2006. Neither do they know their own rules and what they told the fans. The SPL are now involved again, after being informed that the administrators have failed to fulfil an agreement over payment for the league match at Tannadice on March 19.

Yet another delay. The end of the season is coming around at an alarming rate without much in the way of funds to see us through the close season. This also brings the 'Whyte clause' into play for the players who insisted on it being included in their temporary deals, as he will still be involved if these cases can't be concluded.

According to Sky: Brian Kennedy now confirming that his bid has been rejected. He is "surprised and disappointed" and that he now backs TBK as they have the best interests of the club at heart. -

He's already said that he's not interested in being a part of any consortium. 'A camel is a horse designed by committee', I believe the quote was! -

His bid may be/have been the best for Rangers.......but, crucially, not for the creditors. -

There's your speeded up process, Brian! -
Given our stature, we should always be contributing close to half of internationalists at every age group. If the reason for that not happening is down to the youth coaches failing to bring progression to their squads, then they need to be removed. If it is down to Rangers being unable to persuade parents that their sons will get to play at the highest level due to the first team management leaning towards buying in established players, then they need to be removed. We can't gamble on being able to buy our way out of trouble anymore.

The level of vitriol directed towards Bain by Whyte wasn't something which McIntyre suffered from, so could have been why he got what he claimed for/agreed to go quietly. I would prefer not to see Bain return, but I can certainly see why he did what he did.

Administrators are taking too long says Brian Kennedy
caseyjones replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Yes, I'm sure that they would all like to know for certain, however, it will affect some/one of the bids more than others if we are to believe what was intimated in court by the administrators legal team. -
McIntyre may have been paid out in full. Without knowing the details of both cases, it's impossible to compare them.
-
Bain gave himself a bumper wage rise. Really? Explain to us how that is possible.

Administrators are taking too long says Brian Kennedy
caseyjones replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Kennedy will be wanting the administrators to rip up the deal with Ticketus. They need to make a decision on that, and Whyte's future involvement, before they can realistically think about moving things on to a preferred bidder and any proposed CVA. -
I don't see where 'splitting hairs' comes into it. The fund was set up using rules and people were encouraged to contribute in good faith that those rules would be adhered to. The first time any money is paid out and that trust has been broken already. The administrators had already agreed a plan with Dunfermline for repayment prior to the RFFF coming into being. Given that the fund has now stepped in to pay, where has that money gone?

The administrators are classed as creditors too. If those holding the purse strings can go back on their word once, what's stopping them doing it again?
