  1. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/player-power.17237143 The part in bold is an interesting angle which I haven't seen discussed before but which could carry quite a bit of influence in certain circumstances. Even when we get a new buyer, unless they are of the sugar-daddy variety, the wage structure will need a massive overhaul as it has been shown, and still is, that we can't make ends meet when paying £20k+ in the SPL. A huge shock to the system is inevitable, whether it is felt most keenly by the fans or the players remains to be seen, but I would be very surprised if the squad doesn't see massive changes prior to us taking to the field on August 4.

  3. Like it or not, we're stuck here until we are taken out in a box!
  4. Aluko didn't sound too convincing on SSN there, when asked about where saw his future.
  5. About £3.4m in any proposed CVA.
  6. Up to £134m, according to D&P.
  7. Don't believe anything he says then. Simples. Also, if you think the administrators will make a choice based on populism, you're seriously deluded. Cash is king!
  8. I think it's more of an 'arrangement' rather than D&P breaking any laws. Whyte had this scenario in mind from day one and everyone was getting a cut along the way. MCR appear to have been chosen for their part in it all. They also don't seem to have been averse to dragging their heels at certain stages of the process as the money keeps rolling in. Today's running total won't include their 10% of any monies that are brought in through the various court proceedings.
  9. We paid Ticketus £8m and at the same time we sold another tranche of ST's to pay for it. Robbing Peter to pay.........Peter! I'm still far from convinced that Grier's/MCR's part in all of this is completely innocent.
  10. Some humour from D&P: Whyte asking himself for a sub, before turning himself down. Are these two for real?
  11. I'm no financial expert - I drive trains for a living!
  12. He replaced Phil Betts - our in-house tax expert! Do you not remember seeing him walking up Edmiston Drive with that tarrier gangster, Barry Hughes?
  13. .....and if the court rules in their favour, who pays? That's without Ticketus going to a higher court to challenge the earlier findings of Lord Hodge. Telling them to gtf is the last resort.
  14. £3.3m owed to other clubs.
  15. He most likely will be. The deals only last until the end of the season - 5 or 6 weeks away.
  16. It's not up to him to prove anything. It's up to each individual to take or leave any piece of info posted. What I will say, is forlanssister has provided many bits which have come true.
  17. Richard Wilson of The Herald claimed that the German bidders may be connected to a sportswear firm, and that they had made their interest known previously, but it was only today that they came in with a surprise bid.
  18. The get out clauses being inserted in some of the temporary contracts would suggest that players are quite prepared to bale out if it suits them.
  19. Cheeky bugger, forlan.
  20. From official site: http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/football-news/article/2723570
  21. More to come on STV news. Rayo Vallecano representative in Glasgow yesterday.
  22. BBC Chris McLaughlin saying that the administrators have confirmed it as four, with the European bid coming from Germany.
  23. TBK/Ticketus, a US consortium, a European consortium and the Singapore consortium. Still nothing confirmed.
