  1. Apologies, I am guilty of generalisation, as there were people questioning him from the start. The Ticketus story came out in the summer and was met with a denial, with Keith Jackson being banned from Ibrox for a while because of it. Then there was the denials and threats of court action following the BBC documentary, only for him to admit that he had been banned as a director - five weeks later. The Ticketus story reared it's head once again, with a partial guilty plea, before having to admit all. Fuck knows what it will take for some to see that he has been bad for Rangers!
  2. The finances of MIH were the reason for Murray needing to sell, not the problems at Ibrox. Had Murray been able to shuffle the debt around again, he would have done so. His ego will have taken some pounding with all this. Whyte had his plan for us and he carried it through, helped by an unquestioning Rangers support, until getting rumbled by the media.
  3. And on that bombshell.......
  4. As soon as you change it, she'll only say that she liked it how it was!
  5. Ng spoke of new creditors turning up in the first couple of press releases from The Straits Times. If true, the part about finding another club to invest in, puts a whole new light on his reasons for coming in, not that the Barcelona tale was ever really credible.

  7. Good words from the Miller camp with regard to the sanctions, but Murray is unusually quiet.
  8. The name is irony overload!
  9. Just over £1m. It was due in stages - much like the deal we have with Everton.
  10. A persecution complex is shared not only by the fans of both Glasgow teams, but also by the provincial clubs who see us as getting preferential treatment. It's something that Scots excel in, much like the Irish.
  11. Duff & Phelps and haste in the same sentence!
  12. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2128473/SPL-plans-hammer-newco-Rangers-grow-fears-scuppered-sale.html If true, this bit is reassuring:
  13. It wasn't shown live in Glasgow either, due to a Scotland match being played on the same night.
  14. In reality, they are for future events. We will not see any more punishments for this season's administration.
  15. I appear to be in the minority here(surprise, surprise ), but if these proposed rule changes scare off any would-be purchasers who see a newco as the way forward, then that is very good news for us. It would then be up to the preferred bidder to ensure that they give a fair deal to the creditors.
  16. Any CVA will include the BTC, whether the ruling has been made or not.
  17. Paul Clark was at the meeting where possible proposals were discussed, so maybe he can help out.
  18. This is the SPL we are talking about here.
  19. There are one or two clubs on the brink who may choose to look towards their own precarious future.
  20. The end of the season was always the cut-off point and we were always struggling to meet that deadline given the way D&P have dragged their feet.
  21. It wouldn't be done retrospectively. Any new rules would come into effect from the end of the season. May 14th.
  22. He doesn't need to speak with Miller!
  23. These changes were mooted weeks ago, so why weren't the bidders pre-warned of their probability? It certainly points to at least one of the bidders favouring the newco route, maybe even the one they had already picked as the preferred one.
  24. Asian-Pacific as opposed to Singapore because of the nationality of the backers? Well done on getting that done, Frankie. Still quite a few major gaps in information, but that was to be expected.
  25. I'm certainly no fan of SDM, but I think this would be a churlish act aimed at currying favour with the more vocal supporters.
