  1. My understanding of it was this, when the club enters administration, the administrators cut all unnecessary spending & try to bring the club back onto an even financial keel. If this is achievable then the club can carry on as usual. If this is not achievable the company is liquidated & all assets are sold to recover some of the debt, if this happens it is possible for someone to buy the assets and then re-found the club but as a new company under a different name. I may be way off the mark though as I'm not business literate at all.
  2. He has said that in a few years time he would like to see some return for his money, but not to the detriment of the shareholders, fans or the club.
  3. True, I'm sure the restaurant staff already spit in it.
  4. He's a man-chutney muncher anyway. We do need the media to a certain extent. But there are plenty more media outlets to chose form than just BBC. Refusing to cooperate with the BBC means that other media organisations get the stories & the exclusives, meanwhile the BBC has to requote & reference other people's interviews at the risk of being sued for copyright. We'll see who needs who when they can't show any footage of the next old firm (hopefully).
  5. They may be directing the attack at Craig Whyte, but it's affecting the club, therefore, attacking the club. In my opinion of course. P.S I wish the "thanks" button said "agree" instead.

    Bbc

They had a page called "Double Standards" but I'm not sure if it was limited to the SPL stuff.
  7. Perhaps the intention is to let the BBC carry out their contractual obligation without any co-operation or assistance whatsoever. Let them to their seat/studio & leave them be. No interviews, no tea, no food and perhaps not even a plug?

  9. Or Sykes was the person doing all the defrauding & CW got his ban as a consequence.
  10. I can see it now 'Cash for titles - Glasgow Rangers.'
  11. On another note, they made reference several times that they had offered CW the opportunity to appear on the show & defend himself & that he had declined. Well after the way they edited the Super Ally old firm violence interview.. would you have trusted them?
  12. When Celtic were in Seville there was never any mention of arrests. Someone gave me a link about a year ago to a page that showed there was something like 34 arrests in Seville for 70,000 fans & that there was 49 arrests in Manchester for 150,000+ fans.
  13. No, they didn't claim it at all. But they mentioned both cases several times in the same breath. Which would make some people think that Craig Whyte is a regular tax dodger & therefore assume he had something to do with our tax case, which is exactly what I heard someone say at 9:30pm last night on the tills at Lidl before I had actually watched the programme.
  14. To be honest, my understanding of it was the companies failed generally had something to do with that Sykes guy that got the jail. All his current companies which have nothing to do with Sykes are fine. Co-incidence? They added short clips of Rangers purely so they could use our clubs name in the title "OMG Craig Whyte is a bad man, but this show isn't about Craig Whyte (wink wink) so meanwhile at Rangers, everything was rosy". I couldn't believe that they were bringing up stuff about dodging the tax man 10 years ago & trying to get thick people to make a connection between his tax case & Rangers current tax case, as if it's CW's burden.. BBC - Big Bunch of Cunts.
  15. I missed the programme due to work, I heard through the grape vine though that it was all stuff taken from forums & blogs?
  16. Maybe we should instruct G4S to "control" them?
  17. I think accessibility may be another issue that the club needs addressing. I never realised, due to ignorance, how difficult it could be for people with health problems. I had often wondered though why my Dad never wants to attend games with me.
  18. Wouldn't it be in both Rangers & Celtic best interests then to make sure that the lesser SPL clubs don't lose out? If this was the case then an SPL channel with improved specific club websites could be an option?
  19. This is true.
  20. That sucks, but why?
  21. I don't think our own channel would have too much impact on the numbers visiting Ibrox, but I think lowering the price of tickets, even by a fiver, has the potential to fill the stadium out. I don't have kids and so am not aware, are there any schemes for taking your kids with some sort of discount? Our own channel, in conjunction with RangersTV.TV, could also offer the ability to watch a re-run of the match later. Good for people who are working, or even at the game and just want to watch it again.
  22. He has bought a club in turmoil, ended the "dignified silence" that the previous regime stuck by & let our club be ridiculed at every chance, he bankrolled no less than 7 signings (not big money, but they are doing the job), he secured our best players on long term deals, he has taken intelligent steps to ensure administration does not lead to insolvency, he. Just some of the things he has done in less than a year. Craig Whyte's tenure might only be young, but he has earned my trust for now.
  23. They can report on the game by watching it on TV. There is absolutely no need for them to be inside the ground.
  24. With SPL clubs looking to the future and considering using their own websites/TV channels for live matchday coverage we have to ask ourselves whether it is a good idea or not and how much would we be willing to pay? Personally I think it has the potential to be a great idea, but at the same time to flop. Would it be an SPL channel? Or would it be specific club channels? With Sky Sports & ESPN costing in the region of £25 per month and with very little SPL news/programmes other than the live matches it seems, for the average SPL fan not interested in the EPL, a ridiculous price to pay. A specific channel could provide more regular, accurate and interesting club/league news. Would it be cost effective for our clubs? Would it be affordable for our fans?
  25. Plenty of evidence on youtube. The original BBC sectarian debate program when Mr. McConnell thought he was a hero is on there, 5 parts. I watched it during the night & even though there was plenty of evidence of both sides being guilty the program was definitely swaying to it being our fault. Spiers comment about an Alien landing at Ibrox enrages me everytime I hear it.
