Opportunity Knocks For The Scottish Government And Media To Help UEFA
Ergatrude replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Job done & what a lot of drivel they have replied. -
Can anyone tell me the length & width of a signature for this forum. I made my first one with Kenny Powers whilst drunk & it came out fine. Now I'm making one with Hunter S. Thompson & I can't seem to get it right. P.S I'm using Macromedia Fireworks.

This is the part I can't get my head around mate, it seems to just be certain things that are deemed as offensive enough for action. In my personal opinion saying "fuck the" in front of the word Pope, Queen should not be deemed offensive as you aren't actually saying anything other than you dislike this person. I do, however, see the point about inciting public disorder.

He should be punished by way of maybe missing the next few games he would have featured or a fine, but I really don't think this should be enough to lose his job. He is young & he has done wrong but I think we have to remember that, according to reports, all he said was "Fuck the Pope". He didn't threaten anyone, he wasn't violent & he didn't mock any religious or political bodies. I believe instances like this is where our country may be going wrong, it seems to me that it's all about making an example of people. How many examples is it going to take? I think we need to educate people more about why it's wrong to say these things instead of just telling them that they can't. If this is enough for him to be removed from Rangers then the same should be said for comments like "Fuck the Queen", "Fuck David Cameron", "Fuck Allah", "Fuck your dah, am harder". Yes, I went too far there but the point is where would it end?

I think this question would be best asked after the Tax case is done. There have been well more positives than negatives since the new regime but until we win/lose the tax case & everything to do with it is finished then it will always be tough to judge whether CW is the right man. I have no doubt in my mind that if we asked this question after a positive outcome to the tax case then every single bear would be happy. The only negative in that scenario, in my opinion, would be CW's transfer policy. & by this I don't mean offering low, I mean coming out & publicly saying who we are after & statements like "we expect to sign 3 or 4 players in 48 hours".

I think the next one is the 19th v St Johnstone?. I finish work at 2:30pm tomorrow so doubt I'll make it, I will try to get away at 2pm & I should just make it. 30mins from Crookston to Ibrox might be pushing it

Rangers Owner Craig Whyte Meets With Bigoted Vanguard Bears Group
Ergatrude replied to Ergatrude's topic in Rangers Chat
I just go back to college days when I was required to include the source as a point of reference, it's automatic. But I agree, the less hits those scumbags get the better.- 20 replies

I think I read somewhere that Bartley was originally a forward player. -

I know mate, I would generally have just ignored this sort of article. But with all the politics within the SPL at the moment it really got me pissed off.- 20 replies

Just the fact that they added "bigoted" into the headline annoyed me.- 20 replies

Fair point, I never thought of this. I just read too much of a coincidence. -

I agree, but then again with Naisy being out another back-up striker wouldn't have hurt. -

Since when was Crouch worth £49m? Is that a cross-quote from a tax case reference? -

After he (Traynor) wrote the 25 point rubbish.. he then proceeded to suggest it could be 25 points per season, for 3 seasons. Sairdy, thankfully, proved all of this as rubbish.

One thing I would say.. Traynor, in my opinion, is just as bad as Speirs.
