Until the AGM, no one will know for sure. I was under the impression that the arrestment of funds was procedure when a case was in dispute?

I read the shareholder circular again & see no mention of any restrictions whereby Whyte could not speak to HMRC. Short answer; not really. Long answer; we can only judge by what the media tell us as the club themselves are being pretty quiet about most issues. The information available in the media is either shockingly biased, sensationalism at it's best or it is showing that we have a corrupt owner in charge of Rangers. One thing I do know is that, amongst other things, the stadium has had improvements, our squad has been improved (albeit at not much financial outlay), our club has attempted to branch out into new markets. I'm branching off the topic here, I do think it is unprofessional of Whyte & co. to delay the AGM. I also believe that we need to give the man a chance before we brand him a crook, especially since most of the information to support this comes from a home made smear campaign broadcast by the BBC.

But he has said himself that he has spoken to HMRC, why would he say that if he risked such a sanction?
-
Why would he take on a burden of that magnitude if he wasn't allowed to deal with it himself?

New SFA law tomorrow. No one is allowed to have an opinion in Scottish Football. Ally McCoist set to be the first manager thrown out of football for having an opinion.
-
Surprise surprise.

You can, but people don't. You're right about it clogging up the screen, but ive only seen 3 groans in my 8 weeks as a gersnet member so I don't see it being that much of an issue.

Have any videos of the goals surfaced yet?
-
Yes but sometimes people just disagree & don't go on to say what part of the post they disagree with or why.
-
I think a reason box for disagree'ing is a great idea too (if possible).
-
Thank you very much mate, I couldn't get it to work at all.
-
I was attempting to set up a poll using the following; [poll] How would you like the wording of the buttons to appear under your posts?,Thanks/Groans,Agree Disagree,Like/Dislike,Thanks/Likes/Dislike,Thanks/Agree/Disagree,Other [/poll] Couldn't get it working, can you point out where I'm being a spastic please? P.S yes I did select the create a poll option
-
Is it limited to 2 buttons? I like the idea of a separate thanks button & then we could have agree/disagree?
-
I know, I know, but like I say it's just a process of elimination.
-
Put [qoute] at the start and [/qoute] at the end. Obviously spell quote right, i spelled it wrong so it didnt follow the command
-
Aye Danny, a reason for disliking box (perhaps like the one we get when we edit a post after publishing) could be an ideal solution, if possible. I have used both thanks/like but there have been a few times I've been confused which to use. It is a work in progress & I appreciate that Frankie is willing to change it to accomodate us.
-
Couldn't agree more Craig.
-
Ok, how about ginger bottles?

I thought this thread had become the medium to debate the wording of the buttons? I like the idea of thanks/agree. I also like the idea of no negative buttons because some people click the negative button but don't always leave a reason. This can result in the OP being pissed off. I did like the old system, but sometimes it was limited in its uses. I would always thank someone for their article. But if I agree'd with someones post I'd have to thank them, basically for their opinion.

Aye, but if he runs a speedtest & it has an unusually high latency it can narrow it down a bit. Just trying to rule out every possibility one at a time

Try http://www.speedtest.net & post the result for your ping/latency here.

Thunderbird is what I use for my many e-mail accounts. If you spent a little time setting it up it can be a very useful resource.

If you use a browser such as Firefox with add-ons, try disabling the add-ons and see if that makes a difference. Try clearing your temp internet files, maybe run a malware scanner such as spybot S&D or MBAM or try another web browser? http://www.ninite.com
