1. I call for Labour to be docked wages for every commitment they haven't met. Fucking idiots, our country is in the shit & this is what they come out with?
2. Disagree with you here Dutchy. I reckon Broadfoot/McCulloch should be first in line to leave. At least Edu earns his wage by always being fit & acting professionaly. Broadfoot & McCulloch have had alot of injuries recently.
3. My mum always told me that if I don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything
4. £3.5M.. play McMillan. I wouldn't cry too much. But I DO like Whittaker.
5. I've had a reply from him too [hardon]
6. He hasn't reneged on his commitment though has he? As far as we can be aware from reports we have had he is willing to pay the liability but not he £1.4M in fines that accompany it.
7. Good article mate. I disagree about the Tartan Army being embarrassing. I agree with every other thing you said about the situation though. I'm just proud to be a Scotland fan.
8. I would go with your line-up after half time, I'd maybe play Lafferty beside Jelavic in the first half if he's fit to play.
9. Go into edit post mate, highlight your team selection and click on 'align center' or at the start of your team type and then at the end type but spell it the American way.
10. I agree with you, my point is I don't care if we win ugly.
11. I'm happy with trophies.
12. ESPN showed it 3 or 4 timed at the time of the incident. Burley shrugged it off & moved on. I don't think anything will be done. It was a half hearted gesture, but a dangerous one. Fergie & Greegsy springs to mind?
13. Completely agree about protecting the national team, but didn't Sepp Blagger say that the home nations wouldn't be under threat?
14. So how long are we running the poll for before we decide?
15. It is a medium to showcase your skills in front of a much larger audience. Most people sit at home & watch the Olympics, who would pass up the chance to be involved? I agree, but the powers that be have decided they will be in the next games so I see no reason why a player shouldn't wish to participate. Again, I agree. But this is off the subject, the subject is an alleged Tartan Army spokesman saying that the Tartan Army would boycott a player if he chose to play in a competition under the British name. I personally don't think national friendlies are pointless, but I would say the timings of them are sometimes a bit awkward. I do see where you are coming from though, it does stink. He won't be picked, that much is obvious, which is why it's even more unbelievable for Hamshank McBiggub has said anything in the first place. :fish: Didn't Whittaker say he'd be interested in playing for Team GB a while back?
16. Im tired of this kind of story. It is Naismiths career, team GB is new, who wouldnt want that opportunity? I follow Scotland, proudly. & I am a tartan army member but I think this guy is speaking for himself. If they ever turned against a player for wanting to further his career, I'd leave. Turning against, arguably, your best player for a decade is counter productive either way you look at it.
17. I hope he sent a truck-load of coppers to the scumbags.
18. As soon as it mentioned Andy Muirhead I stopped reading. Reached my dailly dose of bullshit that I expose my eyes too. Fed up of speculation. Where are the facts? I know 1 fact that they all know too.. Glasgow Rangers, top of the league.
19. I Heard the Jambos are being sent a shipment of the big issue to punt during this weekend's game.
20. You don't need a motive to fall, gravity is a law of physics. With the way he was moving, even a slight touch could cause him to lose balance, or cause him to adjust to try to counteract falling, which in turn may cause him to fall. Momentum can be a bitch. When Aluko went to ground he didn't appeal for a penalty & the Dunfermline player didn't react to the referee's decision. The former suggests to me that there was not enough contact to merit feigning a foul, the latter suggests to me that there was contact, even if minimal. I agree with Craig, I see no reason why Aluko should be punished for simulation. It may not have been a penalty, but I do not think he tried to dupe the ref at all.
21. Thank-you for the in-depth reply forlanssister. While I can see where some of your points are coming from, my issue is that almost everything that we know about Craig Whyte is purely speculation. We cannot know for sure how the finances are being handled, we don't know anything about why he was banned as a director (apart from what the BBC documentary said). I suppose his "murky" past is open to interpretation, we can make what we want of it, and every one of us probably has a different view on the matter. I don't really know what else to say as there are no links I can throw in, there are no videos/interviews to prove/disprove any arguments for or against the CW era so far and because of this all discussions generally end up going round in circles. One thing is for sure though, I'd rather be in the predicament we are now than we were 18 months ago. Although we still have the HMRC dispute hanging over us, at least we have some sort of stability & we are no longer a club for sale running the risk of losing key players for free during every transfer window. As a fan, that's all I can ask for. My faith is with the current board to sort out any behind the scene issues that may be happening in a professional manner, delaying the AGM to the point where we may incur fines is not professional.
22. We could incur fines, but only if a shareholder complains.
