I think you are actually confusing what I said. I would see the point in having the poll if both players were available, but they aren't. I don't see how that is being anal or easily confused.

I had a pub discussion about it the other day, I thought it was £18m but he said it was £12m per season for 3 seasons. His argument was that the £12m was to cover wage bills and most contracts are for 3 years.

Not sure how true this is but apparently EPL clubs get a parachute payment of something like 12m when they get relegated to help stop them going bust.

Miller is definitely an all round better player. But Boyd scores more goals. I'm a tad confused as to why this thread was even created. Only 1 of these players are available. :meh:

Well, it's not unrealistic. Since Mr. Whyte took over we have offered better personal terms to players than in previous years. Shame about the ridiculous transfer fee's being tabled.

I'll be sad to see him go, but I don't disagree with his reasoning. Not having him in the squad would be a massive blow though, I'm sure the younger guys gain so much from him.

I was torn between Naisy & Goian. Chose Goian in the end as it has been imoressive how quickly he has settled & become a key player & fan favourite.
