  1. I wouldn't buy an orange strip because it will become a badge of honour for the zealots to crow about "Proddies" and Walks and Ulster politics regardless of what the intent was, that's what it would become. We need to discourage idiots from linking Rangers with anything non-football related not give them some kind of "green-light" to stir it up. I don't think Charles Green for one minute understands the significance.
  2. I can't see any other reason for his actions though. Isn't he boozing buddies with those dodgy letting agent tims?
  3. You have to think that Pacific Quay CSC are authorised and approved by someone higher up the chain. It's now a vendetta that you wouldn't accept from the old News Of the World. Do these guys not realise that fixating on Rangers is harming their careers?
  4. Lee Wallace is probably my favourite Rangers player at the moment, the guy is both consistent and accomplished and that for me is the difference between a god player and a potential legend. He's nailed his colours to the mast signing a 5yr deal and that image of him wheeling away in celebration at Ibrox after scoring against the mutants gives me goose bumps. Manlove loyal.
  5. I listened to that OTB and remember thinking that the "Super Ally or Fat Sally" skit was in really bad taste. Cosgrove seemed to think it was OK because he read McCoist referred to as Fat Sally on the internet. Obviously Celtic minded dens of cyber iniquity. Well done Rangers.
  6. Holy fuck! Who could possibly think that is an acceptable image for a National broadcaster to use? I don't often complain about anything but I feel an email coming on. I'd urge others to do the same. Disgraceful.
  7. You're not the first person I've read who has said basically the same thing and coming from you I can't put it down to uber sensiitivity. The guy has a long history of talking up whoever is playing Rangers. Most of the BBC do it but maybe he just isn't intelligent enough to rally hide his disdain for us. It now really amuses me, our detractors are hurting and will continue to hurt as we march on towards title 55. Let the greeting continue!
  8. Wow! I didn't doubt you mate just strangely intrigued...it's things like this that make me think there is a new world order / illuminati in operation. Jiggymac Snr is on the front line.

  10. Under Scottish Law, contracts are very open and fluid things (surely the anti-thesis of what a contract is intended to do?). You don't have to have a signed document either so it really worries me that we might be banged to rights here supposing there are "side letters" available. AS long as they make a "unilateral promise" to do something or pay something then in most cases that would be considered a contract under Scots Law. The one saving grace here is that the SFA /SPL aren't working under any particular legal system but their own brand of quasi-legal gobbledygook. http://www.scl.org/site.aspx?i=ed17868
  11. Noticed the BBC edited out the feel good parts of the statement at the end. Somebody call a waaaaambulance.
  12. He could easily have written the tweet differently to avoid any confusion with a bit of effort. Seemingly he'd been facetious all day posting narky tweets and that was the final straw. Silly boy.
  13. Careful Zappa, you'll be up on a charge.
  14. ....and yet they still push ahead with this shambles! Not long now 'til the truth comes out.
  15. There's a grey area here in that it's not fashionable to be seen as pandering to Rangers "zealots" by the media. Even if there are Rangers men in the media in Scotland (can only think of John Greechan) they have to abide by their editors direction. It is starting to look more and more like a Rod Mackenzie led crusade though...maybe the media aren't involved in it but the SPL, Harper McLeod and presumably Peter Lawell are.
  16. I agree that we should be represented and involved with the process but CG has to make the point that his company should not be punished for the alleged crimes of the previous one. It's like a fall back position should the shonky case get that far.
  17. It's very clear from that document that Charles Green has put several cohesive arguments together in relation to the Jurisdiction of the SPL and how it relates to Newco. It's also clear that the SPL make a clear distinction between "Club" and Company...more evidence (although none is required for me) that our history and achievements lie intact under the stewardship of The Rangers FC. One other observation....it seems that the author of this document has gone to great lengths to "prove" the viability of the case. Several precedent cases have been referenced and that seems strange for a document that is merely clarifying the current position for a case that doesn't start until Nov 2012. Make no mistake the SPL are throwing the full legal weight of their advisors behind this. High stakes indeed. The question remains then why? why now and why are the SPL proceeding with this charge and sanction (to the apparent exclusion of all others) when there can be no benefit to all but one of it's members?
  18. Craig Whyte is a proper wanker.
  19. Where did Paolo Sergio go? I liked his brand of football.
  20. You can tell the difference between a side who are simply under achieving and a side who don't know what they are supposed to be doing. Last night it looked like the latter and McCoist and Durrant have to carry the can for that. It's heartening to read that most of us wrestle with our respect for McCoist and what he has put on the line for Rangers but all the good will in the world won't erase last night from my mind. 3rd Division, limited talent, distractions or not last night was totally unacceptable.
  21. It's all the more unbelievable that NONE of the Scottish media have entertained the concept that Charles Green and Rangers might actually have a valid point here. It's whitewashed and written off as "grandstanding" or "playing to the gallery". What are they afraid of?
  22. Stewie Regan has a real hard on for CG. It's getting to the ridiculous stage now, between their arbitrary "Bringing The Game Into Disrepute" charge and the make it up as you go along rulebook, justice and fairness are strangers to these guys.
  23. I had those bad boys out in the days before camera phones GS.
