Guys, there was a full scale riot in Dundee. Running battles in the concourse, seats and property damaged, fans pissing in the stands etc etc etc and we're front page news for singing about the Pope? Come on now...

What about when there is NO SFL? or SPL or SFA? Who will own the viewing rights then? While I'm asking questions, were Rangers treated with any more respect in the previous couple of seasons when there has been ZERO innapropriate singing both at Ibrox and away? It makes no difference to the hatred, it's ingrained in a section of the populace and the influential members of it have done all they can to destroy our club. Yesterday only serves to divide our support even further. Job done from the yahoo's point of view.

Stirring stuff D'Artagnan.

They've been trying to justify their abhorrent fanatacism as "political" for years, if indeed it were then shouldn't they be singing "Oooh aaah up Sinn Fein"?

The amazing thing is the Tims think that we're given a free ride by the media. Totally ignoring the general tone used to discuss Rangers and the now accepted concept that Rangers are in some way cheats. This is what we're up against.

Tomo "article": Succulent lamb on the rack?
Juancornetto replied to BlueMazza's topic in Rangers Chat
There's a poisonous little clique in London media circles which is passionately Republican and therefore by default it seems, passionately anti-Rangers. Roy Greenslade (Professor of Journalism at City University, London) seems to be the epicentre of it, he is Mad Phil's former neighbour and mentor, he has a long established friendship with Alex Thomson and his name seems to crop up with frightening regularity whenever there is this kind of poisonous activity. How much deeper it runs, I don't know but one thing is for sure, they've got it bad for The Rangers. -
I've stayed clear in recent weeks because of all this Uber shit stirring, can't be arsed with fannies like that. Good riddance.

Nottingham Forest name Alex McLeish as new manager
Juancornetto replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Rumours abound that McLeish will walk from Forest over the Boyd affair (George!) The Chairmen pulled the plug on the deal because of some jumped up eye Dr's view on a vision defect the players had since he was a baby. It hasn't affected his career so far and McLeish is said to be fuming. -
Did someone say "civil unrest"?
-
That would be a really good first step Foggy. A "dossier" if you like.....with quotes and evidence of bullying and bias etc. I'll volunteer for the gig. £50k and a 5 Series and I'm the RFFF's disposal!

Leggat - HARPER MACLEOD MAN SET TO JOIN CELTIC
Juancornetto replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
My thoughts exactly. he would be just the man to shut down any media outlet brave enough to try and expose the corruption and hatred contained within the Lawell cabal. Writs, injunctions etc will be getting dished out like sweeties. -
This makes you happy doesn't it?

I did a "Like" for you Super :-) . Just getting back into working out and stuff since quitting the fags on Boxing Day...will maybe pop in here for some advice but for now it's about getting some kind of basic fitness before I decide what I'm really going to do. Thinking Muay Thai / MMA any thoughts?

Almost unbelievably good bit of business and hopefully a sign of things to come. We need to be bigger and better in all areas to get back on top.

He's not good enough for us, not even taking into account our lowly position. I'd say he's carrying at least a stone of extra timber and his injury record is woeful. These two may well be linked.

Staggering. I wonder how many times we beat the mhanks in that run...*off to google*

Is Ally the Man for the job? - The McCoist Thread
Juancornetto replied to 54andcounting's topic in Rangers Chat
To suggest that in order to criticise anybody you have to be able to do their job is ludicrous and infantile. Does anybody think they could actually be a better PM than Cameron? If the answers no then by the logic displayed in this thread you can never again criticise the PM or in fact any other politician (unless you happen to be one). Fans and paying customers should be able to vent and criticise McCoist without being subjected to the "could you do it any better?" nonsense. For the record I don't think McCoist is the man for the job in the long term, there are other qualified and capable people that could deliver the tactics and performances and who could develop the pool of young players we've got into something resembling an SPL level side. Until it becomes an issue though McCoist has earned his shot. -
This is a recent thing, having to state how much the manager has available to spend. Maybe when we're back in the top flight it might be semi-relevant but for the next season or two it's safe to say our budget will be many times that of our nearest league rival.

Condolences to the Adam family and anybody else who's lost loved ones this year.

I would love that question answered. We all know the answer but confirmation of it would be good.

Zappa's Rant: SPL Plots Strengthening Itself Whilst Weakening The SFL
Juancornetto replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Laughed my way through that Zappa, as good a rant as I've read in ages. No quarter given nor requested. No surrender! -
Rangers donate Dundee Utd Gate Receipt Share to Charity
Juancornetto replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
It's a clever move. Totally nullifies the hysterics about Rangers benefiting financially from a boycott. -
Where do We Draw the Line & When Does it Come to an End?
Juancornetto replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
It's hard to see a way forward for Scottish Football at all but two things will have to happen before I'll feel any less aggrieved at the treatment we've received: 1) The removal of Neil Doncaster and Stewart Regan from their positions of power in the game. 2) Rangers and it's fans are treated with the respect a club of our standing deserves by the rest of Scottish Football. I won't hold my breath.
