  1. I agree. I also don't think we should have been in SFL3 in the first place and so I'm torn at getting the chance to skip a season of purgatory and get back on top. Would a direct to the SPL move be better or worse?
  2. It seems some of them actually complained to the Advertising Standards Agency about our recent "Most Successful Club" adverts.... The reply apparently sympathised with their complaints but deferred to the governing bodies ie SFA,SPL,ECA,UEFA etc and concurred that we are indeed the same club. They really are a special kind of bitter fuckwits.
  3. They'd just argue over who gets what flavour Zappa... For what it's worth I think the sooner we're back on top the better and the only people who will concern themselves with how we got there in years to come are Tims and the tim-friendly media. If Doncaster and Regan are still at the helm of the new set up it'll stick in my throat but I can live with it to see #55.
  4. If we think there are splits and factions in the Rangers support now just wait and see what happens if this comes to pass. I know many fans who are saying that will be them finished with Rangers. The club needs to tread very carefully here.
  5. Tom English ‏@TomEnglishSport 2h Ridiculous that the Pinsent Masons report on Craig Whyte is to remain private. Too much secrecy in this saga so far. Transparency required Tom English is either fishing for a reaction here or has had an irony bypass operation recently. Some of the replies from Bears are fantastic. Plenty calls for transparency on the "5 way agreement" issue and all the other clandestine, grubby little moves that have been made against Rangers :crash:
  6. Jiggy Mac on a free?
  7. A mobile midfield! Little-Law-McLeod-Templeton would be a handful for any side in Scotland.
  8. They masonic QC's are at it again.
  9. “Then our youth coach, Stephen Wright, pulled my dad aside and told him they were going to let me go because they thought I was too small and I wasn’t going to grow enough to make the grade at Rangers. *facepalm*
  10. Funny, I never saw any reports of this fantastic endorsement of Scotlands biggest football club in the media anywhere. You'd think Spence,Gordon, Spiers, English et al would be all over a bit of positive publicity for the national game. (no sniggering at the back now)
  11. He's a parody of himself now, had he bothered to think about it before opening his gob he'd realise half his team received nominations and split the vote compared to other teams with one stand-out POTY. Dick.
  12. Yes it was a bit of a shocker but people need to calm down, Jermaine Defoe did exactly the same thing in 2006 and got a booking. No media outcry, no wailing and gnashing of teeth and no hysterics about kicking him out of football. Gies a break.
  13. *Jim McColl*
  14. Massive effort to report this without saying anything about being a Celtic fan today....pravda in full deflect, deny, sweep mode.
  15. Time for me to take a break from Gersnet now that the smarmy "I know better than you all and I'm going to belittle you all if you question it" stuff has started again. Ta-ra
  16. Does anybody think the takeover/acquisition of club was carried out in a gentlemanly manner with jolly handshakes and vintage whiskey? Of course it wasn't...Green played Whyte at his own game and looks to have pulled it off. Tapes, whispers and innuendo amount to zero when it comes down to it. Contracts and legally binding documents are the only thing that matter and clearly Whyte has neither.
  17. In a normal situation that would be correct but when that person is born and raised a Celtic supporter what you actually get is someone who supports Celtic but really really hates Rangers. That is where the problem lies. The only balanced Celtic minded pundit out there is...erm well let me see....erm....no, I can't think of one.
  18. I'd guess the truth will never be fully exposed and that even if it was we wouldn't believe it was the whole truth anyway.
  19. I'd say this story will form a major part of Craig Whyte's defence against his impending prosecution. Something has happened behind the scenes to prompt it and it's timing must be significant. If he thinks he can get away with what he did by muddying the waters significantly then he'll do that, we've saw him use that tactic already.
  20. Expectation too high? Here Alistair, I'll tell you what our expectation is. It's not that we'll stroll about the park at walking pace, struggling to control the ball and passing to the nearest man whether or not he's got a Rangers jersey on or not. It's not playing 4-5-1 and lumping the ball up to the solo striker. It's not playing the best finisher at the club (Andy Little) on the wing and it's certainly not being out played by a bunch of kids, brickies, postmen and students in front of 40,000 at Ibrox. Our expectation is that by March we'd be able to see some semblance of an effective footballing system that reflects the calibre of player that we have in the squad and the wage bill of the club which is second highest in the country and more than the sum total of all clubs turnovers in the SFL Dvision 3.
