Really? You don't think that the Irish Catholic community in Scotland have made every effort to influence daily life from positions of power? The 60's and 70's were decades where they (Catholics) were excluded from some positions of power (Police, Media, Legal) and that generations children have been brought up with the idea that they can't progress in life because of the big bad proddy elite. In my opinion what we're seeing now is the flip side of that.....they've over compensated. I know of a family member recently who was brought up Catholic and fiercely anti-Brit and he was told by his Father and extended family "If they beat you at something it's because you're a son of Eire, and if you win it's because you were the best". This mindset has produced many prominent and powerful people who labour under the misapprehension that they are still fighting the struggle of discrimination their fathers and grandfathers fought in the 50's 60's and 70's.

Three clear runs at a treble and they've bottled every one, the icing on the cake is that the penalty was slightly dubious! -

The knuckle dragging idiots who take to social media to express their pathetic views take a big chunk of the responsibility unfortunately. Speirsey and Spence simply have to provoke them and are immediately given the reaction they seek, some of it has been nothing but foul mouthed hatred. Recognising that doesn't absolve the mhedia vicTIms of blame either, if anything it makes their hornets nest stirring approach all the more shameful. Using a social cancer to further your own agenda is as low as it gets. The BBC Trust will want this matter off their desks as quickly and as quietly as possible. We'll be able to gauge the extent of the internal wrist slapping by the inevitable retaliatory shots from Spence and Co post judgment. Pacific Quay CSC is not about to be disbanded. Not yet.

What a pleasant and open minded fellow. Well done to The Sun for highlighting the obvious sectarianism suffered by this poor chap.

A commercial entity not concerned about a lack of commercial activity? Negligence. -
The infamous "First Draught"....I'm sure it did exist and was much more draconian than the draught that has surfaced. Charles Green balked at it and he would have accepted pretty much anything to get his investment turning over money again.

If we're not to be completely left behind for a decade or more we have to to hope that Celtic are put out on Wednesday. The cost of this will be to the coefficient but we can't afford to think for the greater good anymore. We have battles to overcome closer to home first. With decent investment and a bit of luck we can be back competing with the tims at the first time of asking and can carry that momentum through to the CL should we qualify. The gap can be closed or at very least shortened. Another group stage this season for them would put another £10m-£12m between us to add to the £30m-£40m they have in the biscuit tin just now. Come on the Kazakhs!

Thanks Stewarty, got the message but was on a power station site and couldn't use my phone in case I was selling footage to the russians! I've dropped BH a text now. Cheers

It doesn't seem to be a great career move to publicly back Rangers or even just to attempt to tackle the tidal wave of misinformation such is the stranglehold the anti-Rangers brigade have on the media in Scotland. I can only think of Richard Wilson who has raised his head above the parapet in recent years and the only other openly pro-Rangers men are guys like Derek Johnstone who carry very little weight (apart from round his middle). If you want to get places in Scottish football journalism, it seems you need to have an aversion to facts and toe the party line.

Dermot Desmond is a hundred times more bent than the Easdale's will ever be. I guess we'll know if we should be worried by the reaction of the Scottish hack pack in the next few weeks.

I like Berra, he's a decent player and at our current level he'd be a very good signing.

VBulletin doesn't work great on Internet Explorer, it's just one of those things. Change to a sleeker browser or tweak IE to work quicker. In the settings there will be an option to "Pre load website data" or along those lines, make sure you've selected that and then each time you open a Gernset page it will use the cached (stored) version as a template and then refresh the latest version in the background. I dumped IE a long time ago so I'm not familiar with the latest settings menu jargon but give it a go.
