  1. Likely. Some wee old bloke instead of the walking ball of Charisma and the hottie.
  2. See, I was about to go there, but thought it went without saying.
  3. Why would Wigan want a left back when they have one of the best young left backs in the country in Leighton Baines?
  4. That's this deal done then. The Scottish Premier League has signed a new £8m sponsorship deal with the Clydesdale Bank. The four-year agreement will begin in July 2007, when the current contract with the Bank of Scotland ends. The Bank of Scotland had supported Scotland's top flight over the last nine years. But the bank announced in March it would step down, investing instead in grassroots football. Well, that'll take some getting used to and hope all the clubs get a good deal from it.
  5. Rae is consistently mediocre. I was happy to see him get a few games after his long injury, but he'll never be a TOP player.
  6. An 8 year contract by no means is a stick on that he'll be there that long. Unfortunately, contracts aren't worth the paper they're written on these days. Having said that, I can see him being there for life.
  7. This place twists my tits at times, that's all. There's been 3 "Livorno v. Rangers" topics started over the course of the week. You need one stickied by a Mod at the top of the forum called "Official Rangers v. Livorno Discussion". As soon as it's done, Unstickie it, and sticky one for the next match. Unorganisation aggitates me. You get lost on here. As for sarky-ness, I've only been sarky to Fraser and Dunn.
  8. Barca looks ordinary as hell tonight.
  9. Stats like this are so pointless it's untrue.
  10. Turned down 3 million Euros a year from Zenith St. Petersberg in the summer aswell. But Fraser, no offence.. but how many threads do you need to make? You could of just posted this as part of the Livorno match thread.
  11. Yeah old news and unfounded for the most part.
  12. This Drogba's a new player this season, some goal.
  13. Maybe one exception.
  14. You been following me around just to try and dispute my points the night? Oh, look at you. PUTTING THINGS IN CAPITALS, BOLD AND UNDERLINE TO MAKE ME LOOK IMPORTANT. Any professional footballer at the highest level cannot be called shite. Sure, you can say he's had a shite game there, but to say he's a shite footballer is just plain moronic and not worth arguing over. Go follow me around some more. Brushing shoulders (metaphorically) with someone intelligent must make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
  15. I haven't been living under a rock, I do know that. Hence why I said if he was fit. Which he isn't.
  16. Of course I've been to Ibrox aside from Old Firm games. We all have. European nights at Ibrox are fantastic, no doubt. But you get more noise in the bedroom than you do with 50,000 inside Ibrox at 3pm on a Saturday.
  17. Livorno are a decent wee team. Sitting 6th in Serie A and like I said, Lucarelli is a threat and wee Francesco Coco is still handy. Only defeat this season was on the opening day away to Roma and since then have beaten a very good Fiorentina side and out-played Milan for 90 minutes only to draw 0-0.
  18. Barthez is anything but shite. Any player who plays for Marseille and Man Utd is not shite. Anyone with 86 caps for France is not shite. He makes errors, and I don't like him. But calling any professional shite is bad enough, nevermind it being someone with a credible career and nearly 100 caps for France.
  19. Look in the "Where's Colshy" thread. We've been over it all.
  20. Celtic Park atmosphere blows away any at Ibrox. Still, no need for him to be smug.
  21. Ian Murray could play there if fit. Wee Alan Lowing looked decent enough when he got a run out last season'.
  22. Ah, the way Dunn put it sounded like they'd been banned from singing it. With him saying "They've been banned from singing it" and all.
  23. That's when my opinion turned sour. He was consistently average, which in our current crop stood out as a top player, to be fair. But when he got sent off, it showed such levels of immaturaty and wankerism it was untrue.
  24. Why would they fine them for singing it? Not being cheeky, before you make a smart-arse comment, but I just hadn't even heard of UEFA banning them from singing it. I can't see how that's true.
  25. Brilliant? Ha. He'd a mediocre right back with a decent freekick and who dosen't shy out of a tackle. That's it. "Fucking brilliant" is just another case of stupid supporters over-rating people. The term "brilliant" should be used sparingly, not on below par reserves like Bardsley.
