  1. They will be out of the CL long before we could possibly meet them in the cup. But let's not kid ourselves, drawing them in the cup would be a nightmare.
  2. So Mr Numan, Rangers have a team full of youngsters who can only learn from this, really? What a load of shit. Which team full of youngsters? Not a starting 11 with 9 spl veterans, a little wee guy called Mohsni, an established international and an overall ton of experience like we fielded to scrape past Dunfermline at home? Bell; Foster, McCulloch, Mohsni, Wallace; Black; Peralta, Law, Templeton; Little, Daly We do, however, have some youngsters in the squad. But they are not fit for our manager's purpose and is the reason we are running scared of Forfar. Not so sure McCoist will be looking to play his buddy Neil's bhoys anytime soon.
  3. We do not need McColl's money, at all. I get that. We need him, his expertise. If the shareholders are of the same mind, good enough. And I don't doubt McColl was sought out by investors for the specific task in hand. Likewise, I think it is hugely telling that McColl spoke out today. He spoke very well and made the required points in a very simple and concise manner.
  4. You can say that again, Chucky was delighted - gifted him a fortune Nice looking pad in France though.
  5. Usually folk post a load of pish when they are on the sauce. Pointing out the facts about Greenco hardly compares. Hear Chucky is complaining he was stung for his £50k in 1p coins on leaving and only got £4.5 million when his mouth was on the tit:flash:
  6. Died in the wool blue nose or not, we should call Dave King's bosses and let them know in no uncertain terms what he is up to and that we don't want him anywhere near our club.
  7. There are reasons the Pinsent Mason report was not published. If it were clean, it would have been front page news, Toxic would have it on the billboards. There are reasons why Toxic has worked like a spinning trojan on the subject. Is it possible Toxic's spin is vital to his cause because the report contains no spin, only substance?
  8. Big gamble by the club in appointing a manager with no previous top job experience and also not the best situation / club for DW to begin his managing career either. No surprise that he has toiled from day 1, formation, tactics and results shambolic, papped out of cups early doors, once by a pub team in the 2nd game in the job, very poor against mediocre teams and generally a rookie disaster. No manager or club would put up with that scenario.
  9. Wow, how to make a simple game seem very difficult. Being fair to Ally of course.
  10. 6 - Bell 3 - Foster 6 - McCulloch 8 - Mohsni (MOTM by a distance for me) 7 - Wallace 4 - Peralta 7 - Black 6 - Law 5 - Macleod 2 - Little 4 - Daly Had to give Andy Little 2 because 1 would have seemed mean. And foster was ever so slightly better so put him up to 3. Peralta 4 was the follow on.
  11. Not when he lies through his teeth, no. Better to shut his trap so people only think he is ignorant.
  12. I was mocking the, imo, misguided hatred of PM, those who mouthed furiously against him and criticised him for not investing in Rangers. Some even claimed to have invested far more than him - without knowing his investment of course. And I know for a fact that PM has never won the euromillions. I know STs and merchandise keep the club going. no need to tell me that. Our RSC has a large number of members who support the club through STs, some with 2 seats even, no cheap seats and all at the upper end of the price scale. A fair few do not attend a single match but the support is there for the club. In fact, many guys have benefited from a Bar72 front row, central seat. Needy cases do not even need to make a donation.
  13. A measley quarter mill on the club you live is chicken feed, nout to crow about. The PM haters waste that on a weeks shopping. Some posters on here have spent way more than PM has on Rangers, we were told. Some others may be up there as well, once you add up the STs and merchandise they have bought over the years:roflmao:
  14. Don't think the digs were sly, some may even say he has no management skills to dig at;)2 Must make you fell even older when he headed into his fifties a year ago as well. The most unfortunate part of this thread, though, is the title.
  15. There certainly was a bit of wind. Pity Forfar never had to contend with it as well, eh?
  16. You better ask Toxic, he will of course know how long it took to write up his own report. Maybe he genuinely has not told Mather he can put it out yet?
  17. The real worrying aspect to the debacle on sunday was that McCoist played it tactically the same as he did when we were humiliated in the league cup against the same part time plodders, at the same ground, a few weeks before. And once more blamed the wind.
  18. I do not understand the bit in bold. After Whyte? When did he go away, because it wasn't at admin, entering the liquidation process or with the, ahem, asset sale.
  19. Leggo regularly pulls down articles but usually when even he can see he has made a pigs arse of it or he is blatantly lying. On occasion, both.
  20. Okay, please name one Rangers player, before Ian Black, who has bet on us not to win a game.
  21. Bog standard response is it - but look at them, they do it as well? The SFA hauled up Black, unless you missed it. Whatever anybody else does is totally irrelevant. Black was wrong, on many counts. Does every car that speeds down the road get fined? Does plod let you off when you ask 'did you see the prick overtake me 2 mins ago at 150mph?' Don't think so. You may think it is unnecessary flak, but the facts do not lie - Black broke the rules, breached his contract by doing so and bet against his own team to win a game. The Rangers, in case you missed that as well. Did you like what he did to Jelavic as well? He got off virtually scot free for that assault as well - way less than he got for the latest breach of rules.
  22. Okay, so the actions are irrelevant and the stake is the concern. Fair enough.
  23. He bet on us not to win. That doesn't wash with me. Unprofessional, illegal and downright wrong on so many counts. No need to wonder why our club is in a mess.
