  1. He's still the majority shareholder. If it looks like he's going to get money out of this, we should sue him and ring fence the proceeds. What this guy has done is abhorrent. It's also cost us a fortune. He should pay.
  2. I'm continually pissed at the stick that "Rangers" are getting over all of this. It seems that the "Club" are painted as the bad entity and not the morally bereft individuals who put us here. Do we not have any strong cases as a "Club" to sue Collyer Bristow, SDM, CW, Withey, Ticketus etc?
  3. For most, a significant wage cut will mean a significant cut in the take for HMRC. So it won't all be out of their own wallet.
  4. How can you have an independent inquiry when the SFA are represented on the Inquiry?Anyway, I'm convinced it's a stitch up. I would hope that a neutral observer would see the failure of the SFA to come to grips with Scottish football's immediate problems instead concentrating on a one-sided investigation of a presently paralysed Rangers.
  5. Well Zappa, doesn't exactly look like he's a Bear offering us a helping hand. Apparently the SFA Inquiry is "aware" of these reports.
  6. Probably at cross purposes here, and my fault for not explaining better. What I meant is that the wider perception in this is that we were done over by CW, and that the administration etc is HIS fault - not that of Rangers. That is as opposed to the perception that the Club willingly went in to administration to run away from its debts. So that is what I mean "being seen to have been shafted." The fans and the Club and the staff duped and done over royally by CW.
  7. The moralistic comment I stand by - but I'm not sanctimonious. Never have been, never will be. How we deal with our affairs in the coming months will have a lasting effect on how the media and - it follows - Scottish football and Joe Public will see us. Personally I would prefer that we are seen to have been shafted, risen from the ashes honourably and moved forward, eventually taking our place again at the top of the tree.
  8. Sorry Juancornetto, not for me. It's immoral. The Rangers are better than that.
  9. One little piece of the jigsaw to make the business unsustainable. A side effect would have been that we thought he was on our side.
  10. I think we need some new focus and freshness when we get going again. I'd be extremely happy if we never played or heard of that lot again. I will never utter that OF term again, and I think that Auchenhowie should be renamed. I'd be happy doing Division 3 with some young blood. As long as we had the bit between our teeth and got great crowds. I don't think it would be helpful at all to our reputation to ask for favours. We're in a hard place, but if we stick together, we will pull thropugh and still be the Rangers, and still be the most successful Scottish Club wherever we play.
  11. As a token of goodwill then, before we discuss this further, perhaps they will provide the evidence that puts Whyte behind bars and allows the takeover deal to be declared void.
  12. Thanks Frankie I would assume that the use of the "H" word now disappears into history?
  13. I think the issue is about Companies. It's only us that is in administration. Pretty sure the Collyer Bristow money will be another of CW's companies.
  14. Could you put the light on so we can see it?
  15. I wouldn't like to see one guy running Rangers again. And I'd like to see those involved are all true Bears. Just my thoughts - that's all.
  16. First time I've never believed you. Impossible to have done worse.
  17. Reminds me of the TV ad - but without the irony. " Does my bum look big in these?" "Yeah, but it sure as hell takes the attention away from your face."
  18. Is that not a wee bit like incest, given the Royal Family context?
  19. If you would care to have a look at some Sellik sites - say KDS - you would find a horrible level of bile and distastefulness Equally other clubs. It's a sign of the times, and it's here to stay. It will inevitably destroy football, and ultimately society, and most likely the Galaxy if it isn't stopped. It's called cyber bullying. Usually perpetrated by pimply spotty skinny 14 year olds that pretend to be knowledgable adults. 40 years ago, the school gates prevented all this nonsense. So yes, I blame the schools.
  20. It's struck me what level of charlatan this guy actually is. He talks about letting the administrators do their bit and not interfering. Load of tosh. As the owner of the Club, he SHOULD be central to helping us, the team, the staff, the Club and the administrators all through this. He's got previous for doing this - when the natives get restless, move out of Dodge, lie low, and do the same in a couple of years. I really hope we can get the takeover annulled - and - it follows - any major contractual decisions such as Ticketus. Maybe I'm just being optimistic. Even if we did, that would take ages. I fear that the only way we will get shot of him is buying him out or setting up a new Club and buying him out. The status of the takeover is the key to everything IMO.
  21. As a wee bit of humour, my Mum does this kind of thing with discussions all the time. That's why I try to keep her at arm's length. This thread started as a discussion about a Notice to Season Ticket and Debenture Holders, went into itching powder, the merits of Sellik fans being reseated at the Home of Scottish football, the price of petrol then a narrative of the Champions League structure. OK if I try to lead it into giving up smoking?
  22. Whatever the outcome of our present situation, I think the days of wages like this have gone for good. Maybe not a bad thing. We got humped out of the CL, EL, League Cup and Scottish Cup by sides whose wage bills were a fraction of ours.
  23. Sad loss at such an early age. He was a real diamond.
  24. As previously mentioned, I haven't heard of anything official. Really up to each fan. Even 500 less at that place would send a message. I've no personal issues about our fans going to Inverness. Likewise places like Perth and Dunfermline, but Dundee United have been taking the piss for some time now.
  25. Not a great fan of Leggat. His heart's in the right place, but at times he does more harm than good. With due respect, he's not the only one to be backtracking on CW. There's probably another 40000 -60000 out there.
