  1. I never contradict myself. However occasionally I do. In what way CG? You might be right. Can you clarify?
  2. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; sums it up; ;
  3. I had my reservations about Ally before CW moved in. I don't think he has been allowed to play with a straight deck. However - what he has done through this administration process has IMO been immense. This has taken big balls, and he has done this admirably. I'm all for supporting him taking us forward. I'm sure if he knows his input is not in the best interests of the Club he'll step aside. But as things stand - he's a legend. Going forward, we need to drop this "Only blue blood - once were heroes" approach to backroom staff. We should be savvy and look outwards to what is working in the rest of Europe. Just my opinion.
  4. Well said. My pledge is conditional. I reserve the right to back what is best for the Rangers.
  5. Astounding clarity of purpose. May I also be allowed to remember that the RST were in regular dialogue with one Craig Whyte and didn't sniff a thing. At times I think we're all out of our league. But at least i see it.
  6. Once again, a reminder that 50,000 bums on seats is a powerful argument. We either like or don't like.
  7. From what I can see; he's regarded as a leader of men; a voice of reason;
  8. What exactly did this London Office and Misha Sher achieve? Apart from helping to front load our outgoings? As a matter of interest, who owns the property - I presume we rented it?
  9. Quote_ Ian1964 "You won't have to wait long to throw that wobbbly!" I'll still throw it!
  10. Watched the statement live on Sky News - no less. Wow - we're BIG news now. First thoughts. Like CW, the administrators didn't see this level of scrutiny coming. Given the media headlights, they will perform their job diligently, and within the law. There will be no stitch-ups. So let's put this "CW and the administrators being in cahoots together" thoughts to bed. This will be done by the book. My next thought is that some of the media are a rabid bunch of no-marks. "Would you buy Rangers in this position." How stupid is that for a question? And it got a great response. BTW, I like this guy, I think he's being very professional and doing the right thing. Next thought is that D&P are being very smart here. They see that there will be more football administrator events in the future. If they can be seen to be the best in the business with great negotiating skills and sensitivity, they are going to make a lot of dosh. So, I think we're out of the woods for now. I'm not too sure about the Ticketus/RST/PW thing. My feelings are that Ticketus are toxic. They don't exactly come across as being uber-smart in a business sense. I wouldn't like them anywhere near Rangers. Regarding RST, past history says that they walked blindly into the CW thing. It may be that they will walk blindly into anything that fulfils their goals. BTW - I'm signed up to them. So - a good day for a change. But we should remain wary.
  11. Personally, I will throw a wobbly on here if anyone EVER criticises any of the current squad again.
  12. Does the SFA or SPL have any duties or obligations under UEFA or FIFA rules?
  13. Great. Let's wait for confirmation. But when we get back on our feet, things should change forever. I've seen and heard a lot of things that need redressed.
  14. Yeps. He's definitely got a terminal case of semi-colonitis.
  15. Seriously, I would walk for free too if he shows his face again.
  16. I'm pretty sure that UEFA couldn't say anything. It would be against EU legislation. I may be wrong and defer to more learned opinion.
  17. Given the financial support pledged recently, I reckon that shareholders could pool the funds necessary for court action and have a valid case against a lot of people. Even if it doesn't result in compensation, it would give me pleasure to see a few people squirm and have the headlights on them for a few days. That alone would be worth the entrance fee. And after this is all over, as a matter of principle, I want our Arsenal shares back too.
  18. If the SFA have deemed that they have a duty to investigate CW now, then they also had a duty prior to the takeover. There were warning signs enough, such as the disquiet of the Takeover Board. That they didn't investigate then is a clear neglect of duty. The present investigation is merely an attempt to cover arse.
  19. The crucial thing to see here is tha the SFA are 9 months too late in this. Had they done their job at the time, none of the other potential breaches would have happened. And administration wouldn't have happened. Therefor for any potential breaches the SFA are complicit and are culpable. Shutting the stable door 9 moths afterwards is not an alibi.
  20. Agreed - but there was always going to be pain. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully some good news is around the corner.
  21. Yeah. Petrie was a twat too. Conveniently forgets all the money that Rangers have paid for players over the years.
  22. You mean you've never watched Dr Who?
  23. Nobody thought of telling him that Movember ended when December started?
  24. There will never be a "feel-good-let's-all-pull-together" attitude in Scottish football. Not with this bitter constant agenda from the media and driven by CFC. I'm all for pulling out all the stops and rejoining the FA.
  25. Great post Frankie - and admirable sentiments. One thing in this is the past way we've been run. However one of the shocking things is the way that RFC (and therefore the fans) are somehow Portayed as culpable. I've just seen on FF that there is now going to be an estivation into the Milan game. The thing that strikes me most of all about all this is the permanent agenda to snipe at our Club, letters and emails to all and sundry. And it's not paranoia - it happens on a grand scale. I'm sure we'll get over all this, one way or the other, and we'll be back to winning ways before long. What worries me most, however, is this constant agenda of sniping and trying to cripple us - and the knowledge that it will continue - an ever present ominous side to the new agenda in Scottish football.
