  1. Seville calculator?
  2. Well, to be perfectly honest, we've more or less owned them these past twenty years. Is this why they're so miffed? Can't wait to own them again.
  3. Anyone watch this trash tonight? First news item - SDM statement. Followed by Alasdair Lamont's voiceover over background of 53 pictures of Rangers employees and mention of "supposed" BBC-uncovered side letters, then Ally's statement followed by Alasdair Lamont raising the question of "if Rangers hadn't operated the EBT scheme, could they have afforded these players who won them these titles. Next news item, the minor matter of the residents of Jedburgh trying to recover after being being devastated by a flood. Next item, a wee bit on what is potentially the biggest day in many teenagers' lives tomorrow. The day they get they find out if they have qualified for Uni. Then followed by ticket slumps at the Tattoo, then the Olympics. The order of discourse within media coverage is recognised as important. There is a subliminal effect in that, and the last statement has the overwhelming effect. That's what remains in the mind. So, basically, what our beloved state-funded Beeb did was:- SDM statement. Poo-hah - garbage! We've proved they are guilty as sin. Ally statement. Poo-hah. They deserve to be hung out ... what's the sentence? The order of discourse should also not be missed in that the producers of the Beeb decided that the upcoming SPL investigation into Rangers is of much more import than people being devastated by flooding, the future of our sons and daughters or, for example, the Olympics. Makes you think about how well your licence money is being used, eh? http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01lp6t9/Reporting_Scotland_06_08_2012/
  4. I use a Blackberry too as well as my beloved IPhone. I'm looking for a set of needle-thin finger extensions to stop me punching four keys simultaneously with my big mits. Also some kind of sensible text interface. Half way through a message, when I want a new paragraph, I press return, and the bugger sends .......... I think Blackberry's are very, very irritating - almost as irritating as a holier-than-thou Sellik fan.
  5. There should be some form of truly independent investigation into this sordid affair. And that to me would mean someone from outwith this country of ours. Regan and Doncaster don't foresee the flames that they are fanning. There are far too many coincidences now for all this to be circumstance. A lot of Rangers fans now realise this, and in my opinion, I really think that the Law Society should be stepping in here and advising Harper macLeod that the integrity of the legal profession is a stake. as is the future of the Scottish game. It's clear that the SPL have decided that their articles have been Breached, and it's clear that they just need a willing patsy lawyer team to rubber stamp it. Regan and Doncaster would be better served trying to rebuild Scottish football instead of destroying it. That's unless their intention is to rebuild it without Rangers.

Please follow our twitter or facebook accounts for up-to-date news or visit rangers.co.uk I would imagine that this is due to sorting out rights issues etc with SKY and ESPN.
  7. Watching online is fine. However, a subscription to Rangers TV is one more way of supporting the Club.
  8. What matters most is what percentage of the subscribers do we have. I'm not renewing. If I can make it I'll go to the games. I'll also subscribe to Rangers TV and watch replays. Like the rest of the past year, this has been a stitch up.
  9. And any fines, and any compensation claims, and any further point deductions, and any playing games behind closed doors, and being banned from the Cups, and any more transfer embargoes. Oh yes, and anything else they can think of. So, no, it's not just our titles and trophies we need to defend.
  10. I phoned the TO about six or seven times this morning and gave up. Then decided to try the online booking on the off-chance and, bingo. Got a great ticket in GR4 too - row A in the middle. But - yes - you're right, I've a feeling that it's a bit of a mess just now. From the online availability, doesn't look like there have been a lot of bookings so far.
  11. The hand wringer within me says that Green was unwise to make the statement. I'm still not sure if you put indisputable proof before the SFA that they will return a balanced verdict. However, it may have been a good move. As the excellent post points out, it's blatantly obvious that bigotry and anti-Rangersism is absolutely rife in Scottish football. That's the issue that the governing bodies should be addressing. Pouring oil on troubled waters. However, they've actively polarised the situation - along with the willing help of a good section of the media. This is not healthy for Scottish football. Not at all.
  12. Well, we certainly wouldn't or didn't see CW there. If he does turn up, give me shout. I'll have a "chat" with him.
  13. I think a read of "Parcel of Rogues in a Nation" would dispel the thought that Burns was a pro-Unionist. However, the epithet "A Parcel of Rogues" is very apt in our present situation. The poem itself is also well worth the read.
  14. Been listening to BBC Radio Scotland on the way back. Honestly - what a Celtic love-in that channel has turned into. Absolute disgrace what has happened to a state funded service.
  15. John McGlynn? Jeez, I forgot. Hearts change their managers more often than my Da used to change his socks.
  16. Welcome on board Dean You're going to be one of the new legends.
  17. 15 minutes of fame as they say. In the case of the Well it was 13. Enough said - point made.
  18. Oldco and Newco and Sevco are terms we have to deal with. I'm sure it won't take long for us to find some songs that wind up those who detract us. We've always had bright sparks.
  19. I would like to think this is reflected in the cut of the TV rights for all Clubs involved.
  20. Neither - it's chosen. As am I. But we can change it by deed poll for the sake of integrity.
  21. Aye. I'm sure that "Sevco" will fall into disuse now, in the same way that "Hun" did after the introduction of the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012. I should stop holding my breath.
  22. Now more than ever, we need a single voice, and that includes the fan groups. By that I don't mean just one person speaking. I mean a unified message. You can't beat it. But that needs to be thought out, developed and adhered to. I'd do it at the drop of a hat.
  23. Never in the history of Scottish football has so much interest been shown to a Div 3 team. We truly are hated and despised. But that comes from success. The easiest thing would be to despise your own abysmal SPL team, or criticise your own board, but maybe that's too close to home for most. So, for example, Motherwell get humped out of Europe with a game and a quarter left to play in the tie, yet their fans are singing "Let's all laugh at Rangers .... " It really does say it all - in a nutshell. They don't even have the mordid wit to sing "It's all the fault of Rangers ....." I know who I'm laughing at.
  24. ESPN is the interesting wild card. Wonder what they will offer. I certainly won't be paying for SKY to watch 5 games a season. And probably won't be paying for ESPN either, given what appears to be a stitch up. You get the deal if you keep Rangers. Rangers get 1/30 of peanuts. However, let's see how it pans out first.
  25. Just more agitprop from the hordes. Get used to it. Their day hasn't been a happy one unless they invent a new conspiracy about us.
