  1. Rab Revenge - although due - will get us and Scottish football nowhere. Although we don't even have a vote in this, I'm all for flexing our collective muscle. However, the word "collective" raises another debate, and an age-old problem. That's a lot of the reasons why we are where we are.
  2. DB - I don't think the the debate is about stature. There are few clubs in the world who have our stature. That's why we are hated here. But if you are honest, you will admit that QoS were a lot better value for money than us this season. And a lot more watchable too.
  3. That might be correct. But I'm willing to bet that they won't make the last 16 this year.
  4. The lawyer's letter quote is interesting. Cowdenbeath are one of the breakaway teams and Donald Findlay is no mug. However, I still don't think this is going anywhere. We might not have a vote, but everything depends on us. We are where the money comes from. I'm surprised that the rentamouths Gray and Hutton haven't been saying much.
  5. The correct example to follow is QoS. Apparently they blew £350k. And they romped the league in style. Cuffing us in the Ramsdens too if I recall. AJ is going to be a class act if he continues. Despite my respect and devotion to Ally, I don't think he will have a long illustrious future in management. At this time more than any other, we need to recover by playing sellable football, winning and looking like we are going somewhere.
  6. Rab - You're spot on. But time for us to grow a set too. By that I mean the support. The Green Brigade have their Club terrorised (see what i did there?) It's time we make our feelings clear. ST sales time coming. Let's grow a big pair.
  7. Why doesn't the Club canvas the fans? Every other bloody Club in Scotland does. When it suits their purposes.
  8. I've had a think about this and am no longer agnostic. You can now call me an atheist. We should not go along with this IF we are invited. Reasons? 1 - we owe the clubs in the SFL. They took us in when they didn't need to. There are clubs in the SPL2 now preparing for us to visit them twice a year next season. Their fans are getting hyped about visiting the best stadium in Scotland twice next season. Their owners are looking forward to the financial windfall. Let's not take that away from these clubs. I would really find that distasteful. 2 - the people who will be in charge still despise us, and have no coordinated vision for the future of Scottish football whatsoever. They have a coordinated vision for their own survival. Let them share that without the Blue Pound. 3 - we would never live down the taunts of cheating. We must be seen to take our medicine - even if we were the victims and were wrongly accused. History is fickle. We may yet see some evidence of the real fraud behind what has happened to us Just my take - I'm sure there are many other reasons - but for this Bear, no thanks, let's do it by the book.
  9. Well. First thing first. I'm pretty agnostic about this. However if we are "invited" it had better be public knowledge and well publicised by our detractors. I've had a big stand up at work today and I'm not having eternal "cheats got in the back door" taunts being thrown at us. No way. So particularly SPL, SFA, our major detractor Club chairmen and the likes of Spence, Spiers and the rest of that opinionated rat pack better come out and tell everyone that we were wronged and now they're putting things right. Aside from that, does the TV carve up still stand if we don't go along with it. This could end up as war. These Clubs could end up with nowhere to play. Cue statement from SFA.
  10. We really need to find accurate figures and break downs to inform the debate. I'm sure your average Bear wouldn't like to see Celtic getting more money out of our televised games than we get - or Morton getting more. After all it's us who pay to watch SKY and BT and us who pay to go to games. I gave up SKY and ESPN las year btw. We really need to start wielding the power of the Blue Pound. if we're getting a fair deal I'll gladly shut up. But I suspect it's far from fair and closer to rape.
  11. I honestly laugh at theses taunts. If you treat them with the contempt they deserve and look these bastards in the eye, you can see that they know they were wrong. Agree with most here. Let's do it the honest way and give all of Scottish football a boost on the way up. Then Hertz can do it after us.
  12. How excellent was that! Well done the young Bears. BTW how bitter, twisted and scummy are that lot. They're a bloody disgrace. thanks for the updates Steve.
  13. Not sure if restructuring will be in place for next season. The SPL is one thing. What about the SFL? They would have to vote. And what about us? "Oh - you guys can stay in the bottom league, we'll give you £600 for every game you're televised, and no you won't have voting rights, and no you can't see any sponsorship or media contracts " Why don't we just say no? We've got the fan base, we've got the viewers. All we need is teams to play against. The new restructuring would be a busted flush without us.
  14. If Buscemi plays CW, I'll never watch him again. Factum.
  15. On that line of thought, I wouldn't put it past people like CG, IA and especially CW to use bugs and other forms of surveillance. That kind of technology is freely available, not expensive and pretty good.
  16. I've got no doubt that Lawwell will start up the whip round and Lenny will chip in heavily. They all love him down that way from what I recall. I remember seeing him being idolised at ther midden. They were throwing in lighters, pelters, money and mobile phones left right and centre. If we'd have picked that up, that would be his wages for two years. Instead they used it to help pay off Big Bobo.
  17. Getting Nacho back isn't as daft as it sounds. Probably a better option than some others.
  18. Aye - you're probably right FS. Brave New World. Why should fan forums be just for fans.
  19. I understood that FS. But I was interested in which individual at the Club set it up in October 2011 and then which individual told Ahmed the username and password. That would be interesting. There must be some earlier posts?
  20. Ahmad wasn't around with us in October 2011. However Whyte was. As were a few others. Maybe all is not what it seems, Holmes.
  21. DB. On a point of order. The statement said the Serious Fraud Office. Not the Serious Fraud Squad. Whyte's too cute to lie to the Polis. He's in deep doodoo there anyway I think. Papers got this wrong too. But heigh ho.
  22. Still all about who gets control. And perhaps that bad smell called Whyte will disappear.
  23. The red tops must be giving thanks to their little gods. Falling sales staved off for another close season and the story is once again all about Rangers.
  24. If this is Ahmad, one question is if it's ethical. Another is if it's in any way illegal or contrary to AIM rules. The most important is if it's conduct becoming of a Rangers director.
  25. OK that's the bad news. Is there any good news? Do these guys have a distinct dislike for Regan, Doncaster and Lawwell?
