  1. Not sure how much this is media spin and how much it's sabre rattling by Regan. It's very clear that the media have found out that dirty little secrets about Rangers sell more copy than writing about the transfer market or football. That's a worrying trend given that Regan would appear to get his information from the newspapers. This might however end up being the straw that breaks the camel's back. Not ours may I add. Given the complicated changes in ownership structures/admin last year, any charges that the SFA level at us would have to be carefully thought out. It's not simple. Also if the investigation exonerates us I would expect nothing less than Regan making a major press statement to that effect. Out of fairness, no matter what, I think we should take them all to the cleaners when it's indisputable that we were victims of criminal fraud.
  2. This is not about the distribution. This is all about the voting structure. The SPL want to run the show. But it's bluff. They will not get a decent sponsorship deal without Rangers. So where they hell they get their figures for redistribution from, I can't quite grasp. Even more scary, I can't quite grasp how the SFL 1 clubs can't see that either.
  3. So, "probably wrong to speculate" and "it's unfair to comment on" yet he blabs as on to all and sundry about us. This on the day of a decision about Hearts and a vote on restructuring. By the way, where did the vote go? Haven't heard a peep yet. This man is not fit for purpose.

    Hello

    Welcome on board
  5. Our problems would appear not to be with the bumbling fools, but the sharp operators who are out to bleed us dry.
  6. Can we ask him? Put him in the spotlight, so to speak.
  7. When these tweets are appearing and being quoted in main line newspapers (English article, Scotsman) it's time to pour some water over all of this. If everything there is true, and can be provenanced, bring it in. As it stands, it is not "evidence" as sources would lead us to believe. I'm surprised Scotland's finest aren't looking into this. The whole takeover thing is under investigation is it not? i noted the "he who laughs last" quote earlier, and yes, I agree. I truly hope a few people get their comeuppance - in spades. And the best bit for me will be the day we are back to being champions again, and that mob take their rightful place. Scummy behaviour in my book.
  8. Ellis had his sticky fat grubby paws in the pie somewhere. Of that I'm convinced.
  9. Think we can safely say that Green and Ahmad are persona non grata. As soon as they neutralise themselves and cease, we can start buying season tickets.
  10. Wasn't aware that FIFA and the SFA licensed the junior and youth game too, but thanks for correcting me.
  11. Quite honestly, if we get booted out of the leagues altogether, we could still play anywhere and get the crowds of this season, plus lucrative media rights. On the other hand, Scottish football would die. And by the way, we can't be punished - or shouldn't be if we were victims of a criminal conspiracy. After all, it sounds like the SFA were duped by one.
  12. I would be surprised if there weren't a few keen eyes being kept on what is happening as regards the SPL. On another tack, the recent Hearts situation, the fact that there are apparently four Clubs with grave concerns and the imminent SPL vote makes me wonder if there's a wee bit more horse trading to be done yet within the SPL. Do Dundee have a vote on Monday? Or is it now Thistle? All quite interesting stuff. I've never in my life seen an organisation rip itself apart for self interest. Can't wait to see how it pans out.
  13. Superb STB. Never thought you were an old fogie. The top one beats me. Never got to see Hubbard or big George Young, but there's Bobbie Shearer, Eric Caldow and Davie Wilson in that photo. Great players, great servants and the backbone of the first teams that I watched. Many thanks for this.
  14. STB - I'm not sceptical. No smoke without fire. We have a power struggle going on, and I think DK is a serious player. Time will tell. To paraphrase you (with all respect) In the meantime, we've heard bugger all from the fans. We are the ultimate saviour. We are who makes or breaks this Club. Not some magical coalition of connected financiers. We are the difference between 500 tickets, hot dogs, tops or whatever and 50,000. And it's time it was made known. It's our money and our heritage at the end of the day. Our great grandfather's Club, our Club, our great grand child's Club. Of that, I am not sceptical.
  15. Is it just me that finds Leggo a wee bit over the top most of the time, and distinctly less than believable some of the time. For my money, journalists, bloggers and forum posters have morphed into one. Not many report news. Most either pontificate, create mischief or practice self-promotion. I'd rather read D'Artagnan any day of the week.
  16. I'm quite happy he's saying something. He's a bit of a known quantity to us and gives a bit of stability. Although he's not in the loop per se, I'm sure he's got his ear to the ground.
  17. I wonder if this is their Alamo?
  18. I didn't say what I said lightly. As things are, I believe we've gone from the frying pan into the fire, and I can only see things getting worse. Not renewing is not a permanent thing. There's a lot of people out there with a lot of money to lose. I believe there are also those who see us as an easy touch to make money. Enough investors will bail out if they see that this will cause them problems and give them bad publicity. We do, however, need a figure head who knows what they're talking about.
  19. Why don't we unite for once and starve these shysters and low lifes of money. Share price must go down if there's no ST sales. If they don't give up, what happens? They won't hang around for long if there's no money to be made. if Rangers aren't around next season, the whole shady game of cards that is Scottish football folds. Maybe a good thing. Then we can all start afresh. With nothing.
  20. Would certainly be a big plus point if we sold more than last season. Mind you, I don't expect any positive comments from the press. If it's less, it'll be sales slump for Gers, if it's more it'll be Gers fans defiance props up sales.
  21. Good move I suppose. Wonder what the take up will be like?
  22. Beat me too it Stewarty. Rest assured it wan't incisive investigative journalism.
  23. Not as easy as that. BBC World service is still important. Also the armed Force Network. You can't privatise those things.
  24. Davie Weir put in a good shift for us - he was older. But I take the point about wages.
  25. Cool story, rbr. Eck must have done the rounds that day. Bluebell also caught him and we had a quick word with him in the lobby of the Midland hotel.
