  1. In my book, there are 3 issues.: Is he guilty? How did this information arrive in the hands of the SFA. Also when and why, when this has been going on since 2006. Lastly, have any Data Protection laws been broken - a serious criminal offence. I would tend not to pre-judge any of these until there is more information available. The Information Commissioner would happily determine the answer to the last question. Presumably the SFA will answer the first question and then would be the time to discuss consequences. The second answer may come out via a report by the Information Commissioner and some subtle reading of the SFA inquiry. However this should also be public knowledge.
  2. I suppose a lot has to do with all the politicking, not least how talks in London went, but I assume McColl will be talking to the same investors. The present board don't seem to have a good record of protecting investors' money, so who knows if the promise of a brighter future that's being painted is persuasive to these people. I don't see other alternatives from Green and co. and they would appear to be getting twitchy judging by all their other threats.
  3. Great to see the forum back. Reading comment in some other places, I began to think that the fanbase had finally lost it. Thanks to all concerned. Great job guys.
  4. Be a better idea to keep season tickets, but boycot a home game effectively and make a solidarity press release outlining why.

    Who ?

Let's look at this another way? I really think Ally deserves to be looked after well by the Club and the fans. Why not have him on the board as the fans representative? He could sit on the board, keep on eye on things, and meet the major fan groups on a regular basis. Two birds with one stone. I would then feel a lot more comfortable about discussing his replacement. Another thing is that if Ally goes, McDowall and Durranty would have to go as well. Any new manager worth his salt would want hi own guys in place.
  6. Oh Dear. Football debts. We all know what the governing authorities think about that. Don't we?
  7. Cracker! Thanks for the link mate.
  8. Sorry - should have read worse. On the phone so can't see how to edit.
  9. That was fine - could have been a lot better. I'll be able to make it too.
  10. Our fans were super apparently, and extremely well received. Hats off to you guys.
  11. Watershed moment. The stakes have been raised considerably. The Celtic board should make a statement condemning it - but they won't As should prominent Celtic fans - but they won't
  12. Absolutley. It's great to be able a start a court case and not give a shit about how much it costs. We pay.
  13. In a complete coincidence, I've acquainted a guy while on holiday here in Mallorca. He's pretty well placed in the transport sector in Glasgow. The long and the short of it is that he says the brothers are very bad news. He has first hand knowledge of two guys who got fairly good jobs for McGills, but both got out very quickly because they didn't like what they were seeing one little bit. I'm not stupid enough to repeat what he said in detail here. The guy has no interest in football whatsoever. His family go to the games and his father-in-law's an ST holder. I believe what he's saying.
  14. Agree with the wait and see mentality. But I'm getting a wee bit tired of this game of boardroom musical chairs
  15. Apparently, they're state of the art because leg muscle movement isn't restricted. They've been shown to increase a player's speed by up to 6.8 mph. They're the next big thing in sport. The Tims will get them in about three years time.
  16. Agreed. That's more than half of the SPL sell. Shame the media don't do writing good stories about Rangers.
  17. Generations of Bears. As it should be. Have a great day CB.
  18. At the end of the day, they're tops. Personally I'd rather see us play in the buff and win a Cup, and win the league at a canter. But heigh ho.
  19. I think we should help them. It wouldn't be a bad thing for us.
  20. Superb post Frankie. Your point about the media is spot on. I've been hammering on for years about them. It's not just a question of bias, which there undoubtably is. It's a question of the level of coverage they give I be hard pushed to guess who was driving this , but the Police are a good bet. Also, a blind man could see that there has been a very heavy anti-Rangers bias. Many thanks Frankie.
  21. Quite right. Good on him. How many pairs has he got spare?
  22. This is excellent. I really do think we should be pushing back at every opportunity and thanks to the VB Bear for his tenacity. Can't read it on my IPhone but will have a look tonight. One thing is using the wrong term. However this was premeditated and vindictive. This should still travel further and whoever is responsible should be sanctioned. BBC Scotland needs cleansed.
  23. Aye - but it'll be the only main stand in Scotland that's full. And that's a fact.
  24. Steady lad ......
