I would imagine there are stringent rules about Boards feeding misinformation to newspapers.

Wonder where McMurdo will go after this. He's persona non grata as far as I'm concerned. Given this news and Leggo's piece about the SFO, there are serious, serious issues that should be addressed over the competency of the SFA in overseeing all of this. They're more interested in becoming a little Supreme Court than getting on with their real job of governance.

Thanks for the link GS. Heard quite a bit of it coming back home. Thought PM came across very well. What more do some people want?

Sandy Easdale appointed a director of the football club
bluebear54 replied to boss's topic in Rangers Chat
Don't know about buying out Green, DB. That team of Mather, Stockbridge, J Easdale and S Easdale still seems a wee bit Green-oriented for me. I'm not convinced that any of them are in it for the Club's benefit.- 68 replies

That, then, opens the can of worms about how the governance would be achieved and who would represent us. That would be fun. A bloodbath.

Requisition withdrawn & shareholders to vote at the AGM
bluebear54 replied to BEARGER's topic in Rangers Chat
Really, where does McMurdo come from? He's so rabidly against so many things that I'm open too, that I find it staggering. -

Difficult choice on who to believe. Our current board or the Sun. -
Police Scotland to investigate internally about our leaks?
bluebear54 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
In which case Andy, if there's no foundation to the blog, someone should make Police Scotland and Crown Office aware. If it's a fabrication, they would be quite displeased. -

Is this then Jack Irvine briefing against the Club with the intention of bringing the share price down for someone's benefit? BTW, thought COPFS didn't leak on live cases - particularly in the case of the Police investigating themselves and former colleagues. -
Who leaked this and what is it? Rangers Accounts?

Thanks Zappa. That's the fourth time I've been dragged kicking and screaming into the Twitter dimension. Let's see how long it lasts this time.- 50 replies

UEFA Rankings: Rangers move UP 10 places?
bluebear54 replied to 54andcounting's topic in Rangers Chat
I'll go with DB's thinking. If nothing else, it'll surely spoil that mob' s day. -
I wouldn't be surprised if Andy is closer to the truth than we want to admit. What if this is stage managed by some of our board. I wouldn't put anything past Toxic Jack.

SPFL: Take the 5 stars of the Oldco Rangers off the Newco's shirt.
bluebear54 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
What a bunch of sad life's they've turned into in recent years. They probably forget that the whole of Scottish football needs the money we bring to the game. Without us there would only be a paltry TV deal. Im biding my time.- 40 replies

Clearly an embarrassment for the SPL & SFA. This looks like a draft, however. Don't think it hurts us at all. Strange it surfaced, actually. Agree that perhaps the supporters groups groups combined should write to UEFA with a copy pointing out that there are other drafts they should see. That's a pretty embarrassing document for Regan and Doncaster to have put their names to. It's extortion.

I'm also a about 75% through. It's a surprisingly readable book. So far it's been very well put together and well written. It hasn't brought out any significant detail that I was t already aware of but great to have the reference where it all sits in one place. Of course, it will be deemed irrelevant by some as being opinionated rubbish by biased supporters by some but that's today's environment. Reading it on the bus and don't half get some looks at times.

I've heard that Crawford is similar with regards to really working hard at training. Also, it looked to me like MacKay has put in some hours in the gym.

Surely, if they don't have the shares, and FS is right, they merely require a couple of sympathetic shareholders to authorise on their behalf. Which, given circumstances, shouldn't be too difficult.

He should have read the writing on the wall regarding players who have come in, and buckled down. Other younger players are apparently making a real effort at Auchenhowie and he should have followed the example and done the same. There was a reason for asking him to play in the reserves. My take is that not turning up is a bit of a Prima Donna reaction. An Alan Hutton in his hey day he is not.

If the stakeholders combined can't afford £60,000 to put a definitive end to this ASAP, then we are well and truly buggered.

Ramsdens Cup quarter-final draw: QotS v Rangers/Berwick
bluebear54 replied to simplythebest's topic in Rangers Chat
With all the new guys, more creativity and a tighter defence, we should be good for this one and it will a major stepping stone back. -
Excellent news if true. There has be some sort of self-disicipline restored amongst sports journalists. Far too much opinion and speculation and not enough journalism.

The authorities in Scottish football are so blatantly biased that it's quite breathtaking. I don't see any other cases coming to light - unless they "uncover" a corrupt betting syndicate at our Club. I wish some of our fans - the pyro lovers and the "never say die" singers - would wake up and smell the coffee. This lot will cane us time and time again.
