  1. The truth of the matter is that the Act was a result of an insidious campaign to put in place legislation which would criminalise Rangers fans in particular. A look at the initial evidence for the Bill, how it was laid out, the composition of the evidence sessions, and who was dragged out to support it should have been a warning sign to all of us. Now that Celtic fans are apparently being targeted in roughly equitable numbers by the Police, there is a marked effort to make sure that Act will not criminalise behaviour which is seen to affect the Celtic community. Make no mistake, there are efforts to ensure that the legislation and how it is applied is as one sided as was initially planned. These present moves are not good for Rangers fans. Not good at all.
  2. Merlin/Toxic have certainly succeeded this time again. Divide and rule. We're all bickering and taking sides in a petty dispute instead of keeping our eyes on the ball. As a support I despair we'll never learn.
  3. Good draw. Should be winnable if we're up for it.
  4. Best of luck to one and all. Hope it goes well. Completely agree with GS. The Yahoos will be all over it.
  5. Keevins should stick to being what he is - a football hack. As a social commentator he lacks even the most fundamental skills.
  6. Thanks Crawford This makes me think that at this "forthcoming AGM" perhaps someone may want to ask who employs Media House/Jack, who pays for them/him, and how much has been paid out to them/him since their/his return.
  7. So who's going to ask him the date of the "forthcoming AGM" then? Bit Freudian or is the slip on purpose?
  8. Eventually it was probably ours and the kosher investors' money. Been thinking it was a long term scam. Smoke and mirrors.
  9. How old were the trick or treaters? You know, the ones who were wasting Police time by claiming they had been assaulted. Totally agree with this thread - why should it be newsworthy?

    Jon Daly

He's just what we needed. Probably best signing this year.
  11. In my book it would have to be a lot. The rights to the inside story are worth a shitload. A shitload!
  12. But ultimately subject to a vote at the AGM or if it comes to it EGM.
  13. Neutral? Well that rules Petrie out ........
  14. Despite the open nature of this, does anyone else think this is another stitch-up?
  15. Tragic news. I'm sure we're still supporting him all the way.

    Jon Daly

Certainly turned out to be a really good signing. Now that he's in the swing of things, he appears to be very consistent too. Best of luck with your Rangers future Jon.
  17. Nobody seeing it from the perspective of wanting as small a stadium as possible? Everybody watch it on telly, and Turnbull Hutton gets as little filthy lucre as possible out of what could have been a bumper payday for Raith.
  18. Might be a double whammy here. All dependent on Dave King. 1) DK provided ongoing funding for Rangers, effectively "taking control." 2) DK takes the SFA to court big time, and allows all the skeletons to be admitted in evidence. In such a scenario I'd be more than happy to keep UEFA and the European media updated.
  19. Thanks for the synopsis Super_Ally. Just one point of disagreement. I thought Foster had a solid game in defence tonight. I really did.
  20. Great work Frankie. Vote cast
  21. Can the media stretch this out until King leaves on Wednesday?
  22. Foster does neither with any regularity ...
  23. Thanks GS. I would agree -Perlata at right back and Templeton at right mid. Foster doesn't fill me with enthusiasm.
  24. Crucible, its been said before. With 50,000 fans willing to turn up to support us and 200,000 willing to go to Manchester, you will always have a Club to support. That's too much clout to ignore.
  25. I see your point CB. However, for this to be all over the Scottish press still seems to be tenuous. Is it all over the UK press? For it to be directed at Rangers is mischief making of the highest order. Firstly these individuals were at that time serving in HM Armed Services. Initial questions by the press should be directed towards those responsible, ie Philip Hammond and the MoD. It's certainly not a matter for Rangers to be bothered about, or Rangers fans. If the press are so incensed they should be directing their ire in other directions where they will surely receive a response. What nationality were the soldiers? Were they Scots? Is that the link to the Scottish media? Apparently happened 5 years ago and only raised now. Appears very much to me that it has been concerted with a particular agenda in mind.
