The fundamental question I think we need an answer to is "is the board's intention to run us as a successful football club or to asset strip us?" I don't think we are capable of sourcing the answer, and I'm afraid that the board aren't capable of providing us with a response we would believe. All I can do is look at what evidence I can and come to my own conclusions. This, unfortunately, is what every fan is doing, thus so many different opinions. We desperately need some kind of amalgamation of the fan groups and we desperately need some kind of fans' oversight of the running of the Club. Otherwise, I fear for our future.

I'm quite honestly a wee bit more scared of Laxey than BPH or Margarita. They're probably in the same boat, but for my money, Laxey are the assassins who have been brought in.

Every time dross like this printed, £500k gets knocked off Lee's price tag. The media are putting it about that we're desperate for cash. Compare the Tims' starting press release of "xxx is capable of playing for Real/Barca and he's iworth £20m." -
Nor is watching it's lifeblood being sucked out of it. Nor is standing by watching it being ridiculed on a daily basis by the media.

There are no custodians on the Board. We need to learn to be the Club's custodians. And we need to understand the duties and responsibilities involved in doing that.

I don't think we are best served by continually rallying round figureheads. We should be getting ourselves together. Strength comes in solidarity. If the Club are allowed to organise the fan representation, we're stuffed. This lot would play us like a fiddle.

This man is going to end up making himself a laughing stock, and thereby make us into one too. The press will soon latch on and will rip him to shreds. How he got so many votes is totally beyond my comprehension.

I come back to a previous point. When will we stop rallying round figureheads, whether the present board, DM, PM, DK or CG? We should be rallying ourselves instead, and I see no reason why this is not a good time to rally universal support for some form of constitutional fan scrutiny of the board. This is entirely in line with good governance principles, and besides, it appears that there is a substantial block of shareholders who are still not represented.

From what I recall, there was a lot of media spin about the 3 year rule not being clear cut and being designed for different circumstances. The spin was that it was open to legal challenge, and there was a threat expressed by the bigger wee Clubs. -

BBC Scotland's tonight was putting cameos up of "those who have won" (sic) Surely the Beeb need reined in for this. It must be against market rules, and there are people responsible for it. It's nothing short of deliberately using state television to misinform for financial advantage.
