  1. I think Dave King's getting them where he wants them. Don't forget that King's an out and out Glasgow boy as are a lot of our fans. He knows how to appeal to a lot of our fan base. While the Easdales are also west coast, they don't have that appeal. As for the rest of the board, well ......
  2. We're now doing what Whyte, Green and all involved have been doing all along. A multi pronged attack to sow confusion. Keep it up!
  3. I agree with BH that this Act is not for turning. I also agree that CFC has made a clever move. It was argued by many at the time that Irish/Catholic identity (presumably including Republicanism and IRAism) should not be included in the Act. Here's a link to the submissions. http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/parliamentarybusiness/CurrentCommittees/31448.aspx I don't reckon for one second that CFC or the Green Brigade want an even handed approach to the problem. They have probably realised that the old way was more effective. Use the media and football authorities to bring pressure for one of our songs/chants to be banned (outwith any legislation) so I would assume that getting rid of the Act would suit them best so that they can continue their IRAoke fest, and have their fun popping off another stalwart or ten from our repertoire.
  4. I thought Easdale had already registered security over Edmiston.
  5. Underestimating those who are in control is not a wise move. It seems like Three Card Monte half the time. We need to be steadfast, and think of everything. I'm glad Dave King is on side.
  6. Changed that for you CD.
  7. Hi BH. Is this still a tacos/paella thing? Excellent by me if it is.
  8. Agreed with MoodyBlue. One of the next steps should be to drip feed ex-players supporting this initiative. It will reach fans who are traditionally more difficult to reach than the online fraternity (dare I call them that?)
  9. Is Edmiston such a big issue? Are there not problems with asbestos? I would have thought that the Albion is much more serious. It generates revenue, and it is essential to the club for the operation of the Club Deck. Also, the issue of converting the debt to shares for Laxey scares me shitless, so to my mind is much more of an issue than Edmiston. I realise it's significance, but I'm just trying to point out other priorities in the grand scheme of things. And it is a scheme in my viewpoint.
  10. That was excellent. Chris, as always, was good, and McGowan and Wilson came across as pretty sharp and honest guys.
  11. I don't see him being here next season. Along with a few others.
  12. Well, it's a shoo in that the Championship will be a lot more exciting than the Premiership. Let's just remind ourselves that the Premiership deserve the lion's share of the revenue.
  13. dB, it's a matter of making as many fans aware as possible of previous transgressions, and subliminally suggesting that this type of behaviour will continue. Despite us all wanting a fair and transparent discussion, it's not going to happen. The gloves are off , and it'll get nastier. It has to be via the media, because that reaches the broadest number of fans. It's like a political fight. I see as the "Loads of Dosh" party vs the "Heart and Soul of the Club" party.
  14. I would rather we lose everything (except the Club and the fanbase) than give into these low lives. They are intent of squeezing every last drop of blood out of us, then leaving the carcass. Shocking that there are no statements or actions from SG/SFA/SPFL/GCC. Or that the media haven't cottoned on that if we go down the chute, so does Scottish football.
  15. I was about to mention Malmo and Maribor. Despite having a pretty decent squad, we weren't at the races. But point taken about the pressure. If we are to return to Europe and the top of Scottish football. We need a lot more than a poor man's Wattie. And as I said , we need a new management team.
  16. Agreed Frankie. However, when these present troubles are behind us - and they will be - I don't think Ally is savvy enough to blast through the Championship and have us competing for Europe, let alone playing in it. As I've said before, I would like to see a role for Ally within Ibrox. However we truly need an inspired management team.
  17. If there's admin, would that mean Laxey walking away with the Albion and Edmiston?
  18. Modesty aside, the campaign is to discredit all of us who agree with King/UOF initiative. They're making sure that we don't lose sight of the fact we zip up the back.
  19. Perhaps it's time for a free one off fanzine for one of our home games.
  20. Chilledbear, I agree with D'Art. All of the forums I look in on know full well who he is, and know his chequered background etc. To my knowledge our dignified wee site here is the only one where he's not featured highly.
  21. Thanks PLG. Now that wouldn't surprise me one bit. We truly need to divorce ourselves from this shoal of piranhas once and for all. No matter what the consequence. Otherwise it'll be a slow death by a thousand cuts. Would not surprise me if Green's still pulling strings and also Whyte. Smoke and mirrors.
  22. Classic Toxic, the low life shit that he is. He's briefing and answering his own briefs. The big objective is to sew total confusion.
