Don't have an issue with this, so, OK by me. -
That's certainly not an answer to my question. It's a spurious statement. So, do I get an honest answer? Then we can continue debating.

I've just had another skim through and can't see the Imran threat, which is strange as it would appear to be a lot more real than the Whyte one.

As a matter of interest, since you disagree with everything that is posted here, why on earth do you post so much?

Time flies stb. Pantomime time already? -
Am I way off the mark in beginning to sniff a merchandise boycott?

Somers is speaking with forked tongue, BH. If the Board were so concerned about a sustainable future, they'd be - for example - renegotiating the Sports Direct deal. Truth be known, what we've witnessed was a colossal carve up, none of it in the interests of Rangers. What were witnessing now are attempts to sustain that as long as possible. Quite bluntly, we're being raped. -
The press are determined to sell newspapers by hyping the issues around the fixture. Big difference. It's not really anti Rangers per se, it's just really all about the Rangers.

Nope The headmaster's threatening you with a damned good caning for not doing what he says and handing over all your pocket money, no questions asked. What the last couple of years should have shown is that our "doors" can never be shut 35,000 season tickets and the away crowds are testament to that. We will always live on. -

Agreed. You would think the Yahoos are getting edgy as we take a couple of steps closer to knocking them out of their Cuckoo's Nest -
Agreed Calscot. I very much think that Easdale's legal team is flying a kite.

Such is my faith in Somers that I wouldn't trust him to successfully point me in the right direction to a piss-house in the Govan. Economic forecasting would appear to be well beyond his capabilities, as would be scaremongering. Lets leave his salary package for another debate. -
Police in talks to keep Dundee United fans safe at Ibrox
bluebear54 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Looks like this story is based on a hack asking Tayside Division for a quote on the upcoming semi. The quote from the Police is quite normal. Business as usual. A cute bit of juxtaposition of older quotes from Thomson and a neat couple of subliminal comments such as "bad blood", a slight anti-Rangers flavour, and there you go. That's how the press manufacture a sensationalist story out of nothing. Quite shocking that people would pay for this believing it to be news.- 8 replies

It seems to be forgotten that this forum also had a warning shot fired across its bows.

Perhaps Donald Findlay would be interested in providing advice to Craig?
-
I'm not that keen on joining this rammy, but there's perhaps a middle way. Why not fund initial legal advice and any initial legal discussions on the issue? It's not certain that Easdale's legal team are correct and Easdale may very well back down in the face of robust legal opinion. Regarding the libel, I think the comments were out of order and have no constructive value whatsoever in the debate. However, I don't like the precedent of Easdale trying to gag fans. There were lots of other targets out there for Easdale including opposition fans.

Well said D'Art. You speak for a lot us there I'm sure. I still try to conceal my resentment, but like aweebluesoandso, it might just get the better of me one day.

The First Annual Gersnet Dinner (The Bears Picnic)
bluebear54 replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
Surely "inform" BH and not "alert." Despite what Dundee Utd suggest, we're no doubt an honourable company of fellows. -
As a matter of interest, how would fans/King have to go about gaining a significant say in the Club? Could they do it alone through RFC Ltd alone or would they also need a stake in RIFC? Apologies if it's a dumb question. Such matters I leave to the more informed.

The accounts are historic. I can't understand the doom and gloom from some. We've all known. The review and the Board's vision and future plans will be more important.

I'm sure we'd settle for a good Cava, BD.
