I think they are the worst team in the league, we should be beating these teams by much more and as usual we made it hard for ourselves.......
-
sounds good but they are pretty poor IMO and we could have and should have scored a lot more today.........
-
We were crying out for someone to take their defenders on as there was so much space there, I thought Lafferty done OK to start with but it doesn't help anyone playing him out of position and then as Ian says he brings on a right back at left midfield when we had beasley, aaron and naismith on the bench ffs Walter that is shocking.

So it'll be out with the costly dross and in with cheaper dross, or even cheaper some youngsters from Murray Park or is that asking too much?
-
I agree with Frankie it's 50/50 at the moment. If one team gets a few breaks and can go on a decent winning streak then they will probably be the champs......

I'm sure a lot of us were OK with the way we played last season as we were winning again after the disatrous PLG era and we got to all three cup finals and took the league to the last game of the season with no help from anyone. I'm also sure a lot said we had to move forward again this season which IMO was to play good football and sign some good players. I don't think we've really moved forward football wise and were also out of europe very early which was embarrassing. We are playing the same defensive style/formation along with playing players out of positions, it's not great to watch with hardly any risks taken all season especially away from home in the bigger games. I know we can't have it all but surely we can try and play attractive football sometimes? I also think we are only in our league position as Celtic are also very poor as they could easily have had the league in the bag by now. If we won the league I will of course be delighted but is it going to the be the same again next season or will we try and play a good style which is better to watch once more and stop boring the fans to death!!

How long will it be until SDM starts doing this to us!!! ---------------------------------- Middlesbrough fans have been told to sit down and be quiet during matches at their team's Riverside Stadium by a club official. Safety officer Sue Watson had letters handed out to fans during Saturday's 0-0 home draw with Wigan Athletic asking them keep the noise down as they had received complaints from some supporters. That goalless draw - for which there were more than 11,000 empty seats at the 34,000-capacity venue - leaves Boro in the relegation zone, two points from safety in 19th place. Watson said in the letter: "I am receiving more and more complaints from our own fans about both the persistent standing and the constant banging and noise coming from the back of this stand. "Please stop. Make as much noise as you like when we score, but this constant noise is driving some fans mad." Middlesbrough have scored only 10 league goals at home all season, and just once in their last nine games on Teesside. Many fans have reacted angrily to the letter, with one saying: "The letter's an utter disgrace. The anger and resentment it's caused shows what a PR disaster it is." Middlesbrough's chief operating officer Neil Basour has since apologised for the letter, saying: "We understand the strength of feeling on this issue and we accept the letter could easily have been misunderstood. "We apologise to any supporters who have therefore been understandably annoyed." http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/24022009/58/premier-league-boro-fans-told-sit-shut.html

It's all about opinions, he wasn't that far behind Miller IMO. I thought Mendes was OK but he got MOTM and quite a few papers gave him it as well, he wasn't my MOTM. I thought Davis or Fleck had poor games far worse than Boyd. Boyd wasn't by 'far' the worst player IMO......
-
Top goalscorer at the club since he's been here......... Scoring the winning goals in 2 cup finals last season......
-
I thought Miller played better but not 'far' better as you say. Just my opinion! I'd give Miller an 8/10 and Boyd a 7/10.........

Our club has had to downsize in the last few years or probably longer. We can't afford anything really above £3m-£4m for one player and we've not had that many of them either. We've also had to sell our best players when we got good bids for them. A good all round striker will cost £5m+ (and big wages) and who knows if that person would adapt to Scottish football or fit in to our style of play. The players we have are Rangers class at present as these are who we can afford and who are playing for us. I think we would all like to see a better quality of player playing for us but it's not going to happen in the near future unless our scouting (haha) system picks up a bargain (it has done in the past right enough) or some youngsters come through like Fleck has recently. Any player has their price and if someone has a good season they might be next to go for decent money. We can't even really match the Championship for wages etc it's all down to the player in the end. A decent player these days usually go to lesser teams who can pay them what we can't! We knew what kind of player Boyd was before he signed, a proven goalscorer with not much pace or workrate, and also Miller, hard working player who certainly won't give you 20+ goals a season such as Boyd will. Both players compliment each other well and long may that continue. Why do we have to keep slagging one or the other off all the time?

bunch of twats, pubs and clubs are their level, never make it big!!
-
Kris Boyd has now scored more goals than Mcdonald, Samaras and Hessilink put togther this season, well done Boydy.....
-
it's ok we have the super reliable christian dailly to take over hopefully only a few weeks and it's not as bad as what the papers are saying
-
if i didn't get the games free from virgin i certainly wouldn't give setanta the money........

One of my all time Ranger's hero's, a true Ger!!!

If I had to bet on someone scoring in a 'one on one' I'd go for Boyd everytime. I would also bet Boyd on outscoring Novo every season if both played up front in every game but that's just my opinion. I would never slate the one who scores less goals! But it seems someone who puts in less effort but scores more seems to get it everytime we don't win or play well when he's in the team. Others who work hard but also miss sitters or play badly don't seem to get it as bad for some reason...........
