  1. Decent player who could play at a higher level, can be a wee bit inconsistent and he is very one footed. Just been called up to the senegal squad, not bad for someone who played for cowdenbeath just a few years ago!!
  2. I agree the tackle was bad as were a few others yet we got bookings for next to nothing and they hardly got spoken to. The ref waving to Sasa to get back up or off the pitch after he got fouled summed him up, what a plonker! Getting kicked in the back/ribcage is not a nice thought and I thought he did well to come back on but obviously couldn't carry on much longer but at least he tried!
  3. Motherwells Reynolds still eying Rangers move Motherwell youngster Mark Reynolds has admitted he would consider a move to a bigger club this summer after successfully putting Rangers failed bid to the back of his mind earlier this season. http://sport.stv.tv/home/87320-motherwells-reynolds-still-eying-rangers-move/ No thanks !!
  4. I'm sure most south americans would go to somewhere like portugal for the weather and also the style of play rather than come to a cold and wet Scotland where you get 1 second to control the ball, unless you are playing us of course where you can do what you like these days!!!
  5. cheers Frankie........ I'll need to start phoning about as I'm sure there will be a few close by. It's just not very well publicised or promoted IMO.
  6. There is not much change happening with regards to the youngsters playing in Scotland is there? OK the facitlities at some clubs are better than they were but is the training better? Do they do much at schools theses days to promote it? Some pitch's i've seen look bloody awful and might do more harm than good. My nephew's have played for teams but sometimes them and lots of other kids hardly get a game which doesn't exactly encourage them to go back or stay interested. One doesn't play anymore because of this as was a decent player. Also some of the coaches/managers are useless to say the least. Can anyone take this on or do you have to get badges also? I am thinking about taking my 4 year old to some lessons (or just to run about daft) at weekends or after nursery but i've contacted my local council who didn't help much at all or knew where I could get any. And most summer training camps cost a fortune, surely they should be free or cheaper than they are just now! I think we are still years behind other countries starting at the kids levels all the way up...........
  7. You'd need a manager to let them play though not hold them back. WS would probably play Macheda on the wings or midfield if he ever picked him
  8. How good would that be
  9. He's not going to stay on long term if he's that good, and he wouldn't be playing every game so not much point really.........
  10. 5-6 hours isn't exactly a marathon session, 5-6 days maybe
  11. BARRY FERGUSON could escape his Scotland hell — 10,000 miles away in AUSTRALIA. The shamed Rangers midfielder is wanted Down Under by THREE clubs with strong Ibrox connections. Old team-mates Craig Moore and Charlie Miller will try to tempt Ferguson into a stunning summer move to Brisbane Roar. Gers nine-in-a-row legend Ian Ferguson — boss of North Queensland Fury and another former team-mate of the 31-year-old — is also poised to swoop. And 1980s Ibrox striker David Mitchell — gaffer of Perth Glory — has targeted Fergie as his ‘marquee summer signing’. Bad boy Baz has been stripped of the Ibrox and Scotland captaincy after his boozing and V-sign antics last week. It seems likely he will NEVER play for Rangers again and SFA chiefs have also hit him with a lifetime ban from the national team. A switch to Australia would offer Ferguson an escape route, although the stumbling block could be his Ã?£28,000-a- week wage packet. However, A-League rules allow clubs to have one major player, whose pay is allowed to exceed the wage cap. So far, Fulham, Zenit St Petersburg and clubs in oil-rich Qatar have all been linked with the controversial player. Meanwhile, Rangers are set to step up their pursuit of Hamilton pair James McArthur and Tomas Cerny to replace Fergie and fellow bad boy Allan McGregor. Gers scouting chief Sandy Jardine has been watching the duo in recent months. Scotland Under-21 midfielder McArthur is similar to Ferguson in style and one of the best prospects around. And Czech keeper Cerny caught the eye of the Light Blues after five clean sheets in a row in January which earned him the SPL Player of the Month award. Cerny is on loan from Czech outfit Sigma Olomouc and Accies manager Billy Reid is keen to sign him on a permanent deal as they have first option. However, the deal is complicated and Sigma are hoping to get a larger offer. Rangers were already looking to replace third-choice keeper Graeme Smith before McGregor got into trouble. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/article2363687.ece
  12. sounds a good option
  13. Aye but he would just come out and say he wants to go home or he would probably want to run about on the pitch. I tell you this he would put some of the players to shame the running he can do
  14. This is the first time I will actually think hard about renewing my ticket but my heart will probably rule my head in the end. It will also depend a bit on if my mates are renewing theirs as well. I was thinking about taking my wee boy to a game/s next season but he would get bored after after a few mins watching that!!
  15. Nothing will happen to Brown or change the situation IMO. The SFA won't admit they have made a mistake will they?? Nor will the anti-Rangers tartan army, they got the outcome they wanted.
  16. I agree the shouldn't have been anywhere near Hampden on Wednesday as the main focus was on them but they didn't help themselves and had plenty of time to think about what they were doing and surely what would happen.......
  17. They both must (or should) be really embarrassed and will look back on this and see what stupid little kids they have been and what they have thrown away. For Barry the chance to not only play for Rangers and to a lesser extent Scotland but captain them must be a wonderful feeling, a feeling we can only dream about.
  18. I don't agree with that, Ian is over 31 and can't seem to stop when he's had more than enough :fish: I can however go home at an early hour all by myself
  19. I agree Barry, I always seemed to win the sundae
  20. The front page headlines in the sun are a joke!!
  21. ha ha ha cmon ian I thought you were on the ball after your april fool yesterday
  22. As Frankie has said maybe the manager should take some blame as 1 drink is 1 too many for some..........
  23. That's true it's different now and the press are worse and more desperate for stories I suppose. As long as they are training hard and play well I don't see much of a problem but I can see how others can. And as you said they wouldn't be in a that much of a state such as we would be
  24. I can't remember anything ever being said like this in the 90s when most of our players were on the bevy every week and in the papers after getting arrested/fighting in kebab shops etc. Was it because we were winning things and they were better players maybe? I can't remember anyone mentioning any shame being brought onto the club then? What is so different now?
  25. I'm not condoning what they've done but once the bevy starts flowing it's sometimes hard to stop, football player or not It's sometimes better not to start, but I don't really see a problem as long as it doesn't affect the performances on the park (maybe this has been Barry's problem since he's came back from injury) :fish:
