I never said we were did I, but don't you want us to be one again or would you rather we go back to playing how we used to which IMO was so boring to watch? We need some better players to fit in to this system and hopefully that will come in the near future. Keep going with your one or two liners without giving any suggestions on how you would improve our team and style of play and how this would be more beneficial to us than what we are doing now. I get you don't like this style of play but to say we need to mix it up is a bit vague and offers nothing. Some fans need to get a bit more realistic to where we have been and where we are now and where we are trying to get to. We are improving and will continue to improve playing like this IMO and more fan support would be great, isn't that why we support our team to get behind them during the good and bad times?

Top teams play like this so why shouldn't we, it's about keeping the ball and possession so the team with the ball control the game, do you want us lumping the ball up the park now again just to mix it up? Our players need to be more clinical in front of goal, and I would hope a clinical striker is our top transfer target in January, but apart from that it's night and day IMO to where we were even before Ally to where we are now in our style of play and set up. As I said I am enjoying it more than I have for a long time and I hope it continues. If this is torture then it will do for me and I can only see us getting better once all our new signings settle in and get more game time.

It can be frustrating at times of course, but to say torture is shocking. I thought it was torture when McCoist was in charge and I wasn't looking forward to any game under him and in his last season I missed quite a few which I haven't done for a long time. I thought we played we well against a team who I don't think once tried to the play the ball on the ground and were horrible to watch, no wonder Scottish football is at the level it is. What style would you have us play? The long ball like under McCoist or at least try and play some football on the ground? I like MW's style he is trying to play but I understand some don't but surely it's better than what you have seen for years before him?

If we go the way we have been from mine it should be OK getting there Frankie and we'll pass J4/5 on M74, it's coming back that'll be the worst. The Bellshill cut off will probably be closed again on the M8!! Looking forward to getting back after missing the last couple of games......

Calm down Craig it's only my opinion. I did play the game for many years but I was a striker or meant to be, not at a very high level and I obviously wasn't as good as you seeing as you made it big and know it all If you read my posts I did say I like Hill, TWO of our players were played by ONE of their players, their positioning was poor and I think if either one was stronger or OK maybe cleverer they might've seen that and got in a better position by moving or moving someone out the way with their strength. I blame the 2 players who got caught out by one of theirs as it was one them who should've been marking the goal scorer, so again IMO Craig it was one of they 2 players fault and I do think it was Hills man to mark. Reply if you want but I can't go on saying the same thing, it is my opinion, that is how I saw it and still see it, you haven't changed my mind.

Well it's not the first time he's been caught out at the back in similar situations, 2 of our players were played by 1 of theirs, I don't see that as a free kick. He needs to be stronger against players and smarter, if he was he wouldn't have been in that position and maybe we wouldn't have lost the goal.

I didn't think it was a foul and Hill should've been stronger IMO.

I like Hill but he needs to be stronger at the back.

The distribution from the back and especially the keeper has been woeful so far.

I don't think some fans can change though and that's worrying. If we're not winning by more than a few goals they will still shout and abuse the players when they make a mistake, makes you wonder why they go to the games! We can all shout etc but some just go to the extreme, along with the ones who constantly shout get it in the box, lump it up the park or shoot from the halfway line, doesn't make it great for the ones sitting around them!

I am looking forward to that on Saturday Ian I really can't work out why fans would want to go back the long ball style rather than what we have been and are trying to play these days. It can be frustrating and we are not going to win the league this season but we're heading in the right direction but fans getting on the teams back like you say are not going to help us any!

We knew what type of person we were getting before we signed him, he hasn't played any worse than anyone else IMO and his experience is needed for the rest of the season. I think he has been harshly treated and it looks like we want rid. Everyone makes mistakes and he was always going to do something to make the headlines, why did we sign him if we're not going to back him when he did!

I totally agree mate, something looks wrong to me, their whole body language from last season to this season looks different.

Most of the players looked like they lacked confidence and self belief yesterday, they looked lost with no imagination most of the game!

Not seen a Scotland game in years and don't plan to start watching them again anytime soon. I have better things to do with my time

Different managers handle players differently, maybe if he had Souness as a boss he would've got a right hook like he did to some and that would've been the end of it

From what I've been reading and heard from other fans on here and elsewhere it's not just the suspension, it seems to me that as he has also not played very well, and we got beat heavily by them he is being made a scapegoat, that is just my opinion though.

Better players than Barton have not settled in right away or for a long time when the come to Rangers. I think once he gets fully fit he could be a big player for us. I am not going to have a go at him after a few games, same as any other new player who has not settled in right away. I hope he comes back and does more of his talking on the pitch rather than off it and shows us the good player he is.

It will take time as you say, but I would hope to be truly challenging for the title within the next 3 seasons.

Surely you can't judge players after a few games with us and some are not even playing yet! I will judge them after half a season at least, some players settle straight away, some take longer, some won't make it with us, that's how football is. Once they are all fit and we find their best position for our system then I think we will be fine but as I said some fans are not patient enough it seems.

Some of the stuff I seen on twitter and on forums last night was embarrassing to say the least. I was gutted that we didn't win as I always am but the slagging of players and even our manager was unbelievable! We are hardly into our season, as someone said we have a number of players to come back from injury, especially Waghorn who is very important to how we play. We have quite a lot new players still trying to fit in to the team and system. Obviously a lot of fans are still with the idea that no player can have a bad game and if they do they are a waste of money and useless. The mentality of some of our fans is shocking. We will get there but some fans need to have a reality check!
