"I've seen the replays a couple of times now and I'm not convinced it was a penalty. Gary Caldwell sits up immediately and shakes his finger. He obviously thinks he got a touch on the ball, but he was sold by Glenn Loovens terrible mistake" BBC Radio Scotland football correspondent Chick Young ha ha ha

McGregor is the better keeper so if fit he should play. what a back up to have though, I hope he stays......

Why do some players appear to improve away from Ibrox
johnnyk replied to wabashcannonball's topic in Rangers Chat
I agree with gazza. I read Charlie saying he trains much more than he used to at Rangers. He is much fitter and enjoying it more. Says most of the team train in their own time as well which hardly happened at all with us. Burke also looks really fit and playing well. Carlos was great with us and has just improved playing in a better league IMO.......... -
come on gribz buffel got more than one chance, ok last time i will hopefully mention his name, he's a superstar now playing in a better league for a better team what a player............
-
Please don't mention Buffel, it'll just start gribz off again :fish: I see he has went on to bigger and better things though As for lovenpants jesus christ :box:
-
I gave him stick earlier this season but I agree with Gazza it was when he was at the back or on the left. Last night I thought he played well and was unlucky not to score a few times. He get stuck in unlike some and never hides and would play anywhere asked for us.........

Rangers 3 - 0 Dundee Utd: Player Ratings and MoM Poll
johnnyk replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
and :nn: for me...........but the whole team played well........... -
I thought Burke looked very good. He was making some good runs forward like he used to for us and was playing with confidence and looked fitter than he's ever been. Scored a cracking goal, his 3rd in a row. Middlesborough should have scored but was good to see wee chesney unhappy again
-
I saw the EPL goals this morning and watch most of the games and i agree they are fitter and better quality but Boyd is most of the time sharp in the box, you don't have to be an athlete to score goals just the right place at the right time which once down there he would be after he got used to it IMO. I do disagree about the more defensive approach, even Bolton looked good going forward against City yesterday and IMO he would've scored if he was playing in that match. we're not going to agree you dislike boyd fair enough but seeing as he's not had a chance in a better league to totally write him off seems a bit silly to me........
-
I reckon he'd get loads of chances in the right team in the EPL. EPL teams play in the oppositions box much more than we do up here and at least have players who can deliver some great crosses in to the box. I think he would do very well there. If he does leave us we would be in a much bigger mess than we already are in as we have no one who can guarantee the goals consistently as he does. Goals against the likes of St johnstone etc win you leagues as well as scoring against the so called bigger teams. If he was to go who would take over his role to give us 20+ goals a season? We can't afford anyone and we have no one else in the squad who could do this.
-
i'm surprised alex didn't try and get him either as was also partial to playing quite a few players out of poitison
-
I think you will make the Gersnet awards list if you keep this up KT
-
i'm sure he was also playing as a defender when he was on trial with us so maybe that didn't help him? he is a natural striker then played as centre back for T&T then back to striker in the EPL.......... just because some players make it elsewhere doesn't mean our coaches are bad........
-
I don't read shite newspapers like the record who have constantly slagged us off over the years far less believe them sorry.......
-
no you haven't m8 but i think someone else has
-
Domestic wise Walter has fantastic which is what we wanted when he came back, europe wise he's been a disaster we all know that. Who do you think could have done better than him in europe since he's been back and why and who can take us forward in europe with the state our club is in at present?
-
there must be quite a few tims on here then
-
McCulloch reckons we may be forced to sell now
johnnyk replied to elderslieblue's topic in Rangers Chat
If only, I'm sure walter see's him as too much of a utility player that he might need for cover in other positions if we do sell some of the players! I also wish he would stop talking to the press............ -
We need new midfielders but with no money we can't buy quality unless we sell the likes of Davis, Mendes, Thomson and if a miracle happened also McCulloch It's time to give some young guys a decent chance they can't do any worse than these imposters. Or maybe time to put Boogie in there as Ian has been saying to me all season We keep saying this but play Lafferty up front or not at all, what's the point as it won't stop Walter doing it. When is Kirk due back as we have had big problems on the right all season and most of our goals have come from that side, come back the big pony!!
-
super stuff
-
3-1 ..........
-
I agree with Ian, doubt if he was going to play anyway but seems he is taking the piss all the same. first decent bid and he'll be away in Jan.........
-
for once he is talking sense!!
