RANGERS WANT CHRIS BRUNT TO WING IT TO IBROX RANGERS are on the trail of Northern Ireland star Chris Brunt. The SPL champions are interested in the £2 million-rated West Bromwich Albion star. Walter Smith is looking to add more attacking options to his title-winning squad and Brunt is one of the targets he is considering. The 25-year-old has been a major player for the Baggies in recent seasons and would welcome the chance to move to Ibrox and in the Champions League. He would also be keen teaming up with his Northern Irish team mates Kyle Lafferty and Steven Davis at Ibrox. Brunt, who has previously played for Sheffield Wednesday, has been one of the top performers at the Hawthorns in recent seasons and manager Roberto Di Matteo would be reluctant to let go. Smith is looking for replacements for DaMarcus Beasley and top scorer Kris Boyd who quit Ibrox on freedom of contract. The Ibrox side have also been linked with a move for fellow Northern Irish striker David Healy and they are had a cut-price £400,000 bid for Portsmouth's Tommy Smit turned down. They also keen on David Goodwillie, although they are unwilling to meet Dundee Untied's £3 asking price, while they also want Hamilton midfielder James McArthur, who is also attracting interest from Wigan. http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/184917/Rangers-want-Chris-Brunt-to-wing-it-to-Ibrox/ no quotes anywhere!!!!

everyones different and you dont really know why he's gone. I wouldn't or would like to hope I wouldn't go for more money and don't understand why he has gone but he's been here a few years and is the SPLs top scorer maybe he needed a change but at least he can say he's played for his boyhood team for 4/5 years and been top scorer every year. not many players can say that can they? we'll miss him but he's gone and i don't care where to, we must move on why worry about where he has went to? look at scott brown, meant to have swayed towards rangers when he was younger and at the last minute got more money from celtic so went there, money can easily change peoples mind and you don't know what it would do to you unless you have been in that position.........
-
have you really thought about what you're posting? if he went to celtic then we'd all be annoyed but he's away to a team down south that just happen to be managed by someone who was at celtic a few years ago and some ex celtic players. he's gone good luck to him, i think he'll regret it but it's his choice, there really is nothing to defend IMO.
-
sorry i'll give up that is total balls but if that's what you believe then good on you.........
-
so you don't think any rangers player should sign for any team that has a manager or players who have been at celtic ? sorry but that's just crap.... you're annoyed fair enough but it is worth it? as i've said rangers are my only concern i think we have enough problems of our own........
-
once they leave Rangers why should I care where they go or who the play under? why are you that bothered if someone signs for an ex celtic manager? they don't want to be here and all I care about is Rangers....
-
so you're pissed off because he's moving to a team that has some ex celtic players and an ex celtic manager? is it really worth getting upset over...........
-
not a great move for him IMO, but it's his life all the best to him and that, he will regret leaving us i'm sure......

don't listen to the sheep :admin:

well i've got 1 team left from the start........I bet £25 ew on germany at 14/1, £25 ew (free bet) on argentina, £20 win on brazil, (still got a £20 free bet) i then tonight had £100 on spain at 1/2, i thought it was lost after Paraguay got a penalty, then won after he missed and after spain got their pen and scored, then lost when he missed the re-take and then when they hit the post but thankfully villa scored the rebound, what a game!!!! my mate had £300 on it and was well shiting his pants
-
i think it's 1/4 off the odds mate ...........
-
I'd rather have boyd in my team than someone who has potential to score goals or can 'maybe' score goals. Boyd is proven in the SPL and will be dearly missed but no one is bigger than our club and better players have retired of left so life goes on without him..........

If say there was a game Scotland V England, i'm sure the vast majority of Scottish Rangers fans would support Scotland, there's always a few nutters out there who wouldn't. If there was a game Scotland V ROI i'm not sure the vast majority of celtic fans would support Scotland do you? As for the tartan army most of them are tossers and bigots IMO. I've not seen any young kids this summer in England tops in Scotland but i've seen plenty with ROI tops on and I know they are Scottish, I for one hate that! My wee boy will be wearing firstly the Rangers top and secondly the Scotland top (if I can be bothered buying it).

But for some reason Frankie that seems to be OK
-
I agree, I thought he had made it clear enough he wasn't staying and was looking elsewhere He should take as long as he wants to get the right deal for himself and his family IMO......

Same, I certainly don't hate them but the media are a nightmare. I would be happy to see them go further but imagine it if they won it again!!!

had a few draws in there which has helped the homebrew like zappa said is the main helper
-

-
fancy 2-1 for the english tonight.........7/1.. just going to my english mates with the homebrew........
-
it's not the best league we know that but it does help some players careers if they need to toughen up and add that to their game...........

Another day another striker

Cousin had the ability to be a great player and he showed flashes of it occasionally but like some others we've had he couldn't give a toss about the club or the fans. He was just a greedy bugger and he got what he deserved in the end, no thanks!
