  1. If you don't like it then don't read it.
  2. Sack him still not good enough
  3. I was only jesting mate Aye they will be hiding in some pithole until they beat someone, hopefully it won't be for a while!!!
  4. I'm busy working today for a change, get yerself out to the pub Ian, no fighting mind Sore throat and still on a high as well, going for a nice lunch soon and i'll get a few beers seeing as I'm not driving today
  5. 3-0 jelavic, naismith and lafferty
  6. I've not been involved in domestic abuse but I doubt it's easy for the victims 'just to leave', there could be lots of reasons why they stay. I'm sure leaving is the hardest part especially if there is kids involved it may actually get worse. It would be be good to know the actual domestic abuse reasons at OF times as there is so many different kinds. IMO when it goes up at OF games it will be mainly due to drink or drugs, which is why it's nothing to do with football, I may of couse be totally wrong though.
  7. Used to be half decent when I started going to games, over a couple of decades ago ahmm , not been in for years as it was a pit hole run by tims. Hopefully visit again soon once it's open
  8. You know some people don't give a toss about responsability or anything really. It's certainly a social problem but not a football problem IMO, but the teams always seem to get blamed from what I read, the headlines certainly say this anyway, front page news etc. Do these people hit their partners at other times when they get drunk or high regardless of when football is on, probably yes i'd say. I know the stats say it goes up when an old firm game is on, but it's only because more people go out or stay in and drink and a lot are probably on drugs a well, some people are just plain thugs, some people clearly have mental issues. It is again the minority of the popluation but the game then gets dragged into it and used as an excuse.
  9. What responsability can most fans take? They can't stop anyone going home and hitting their partners if they get angry about their team losing or something else? Drink plays a massive part in all violence but lets blame football again.
  10. I heard Ian McCall was saying "Kayal is as good as Van Bronckhorst" and also said "Athletico would take three of the scums midfield right now". He's either taking the piss or been on the bevy like Gribz
  11. I may be sober if I'm driving there It doesn't happen very often going to games
  12. I can't see it but if Sion got back in that would be pretty funny
  13. I agree but seeing as they usually sell out it shows others are there to replace them as happens all the time.
  14. If we knocked back big bids for him now and he's under contract for a few years yet the earliest I expect him leave would be next season. Unless it's for a big club or for mega bucks i'm sure he will want to help us win another title
  15. I think he will at some point, he's good in a few positions seemingly. He played on the left against Wales recently but drifted in the middle quite a lot.
  16. it's still a sell out so plenty still wanting to go.
  17. There's nothing much being said about Naismith's 'injury' so it can't be that bad. Even if he has taken pain killers it might not be a bad injury and i'm sure he will get the best treatment to make sure he's available for the weekend and beyond. Every game is a big game and Utd is always a hard game for us. I like the look of Frankie's midfield but doubt they will all start this weekend but you never know.
  18. I read he has had surgery which is why he is out for 4/6 weeks, double hernia op. McCoist has said he is hoping to have him back in 4 weeks.
  19. The cancer rumours started to emerge in the French Press last Friday – fuelled by the player’s unavailability for games due to “non-footballing reasons” – but it wasn’t until Monday of this week that Malbranque moved to dismiss them as fake. http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/sunderland-afc/chris-young-column/ex_sunderland_man_malbranque_ends_st_etienne_stay_1_3748567
  20. you on the drink again Gribz
  21. He's came out and said he's not got a son.
  22. Much faster for me as well, good job Barry
  23. I liked him years ago, but a bit inconsistent and moody for me. Did he not turn down Arsenal years ago then joined Fulham not long after? Strange goings on when he left St Etienne, I wonder what the true story is on that. A few years ago I would've said yes but i'd rather give a youngster a chance than sign him now.
  24. I'm sure he'll be well looked after Zappa and i'm sure the Scotland docs or Rangers wouldn't have let him do it if it was too much of a risk to his short or long term health. Good to see someone wanting to play through the pain barrier to help his country out, not many of those about these days.
  25. well done Scotland and the injured match winner Naismith
