1-0 and 2-0 are close scores and the opposition had 1 or 2 chances but we did win them comfortably in the end with enough chances to win numerous games. We had goals disallowed, a penalty miss and their keeper had some great saves yesterday. IMO we did win our last 2 homes games easily enough. We also gubbed the tims very easy recently also at home

Cheers I didnt read that, maybe it just feels like there's police watching your every move... There always is I agree but this is the 'police' we're talking about who deal directly with people and we are meant to trust. The relationship between fans and police has never been good but IMO although there will always be fans who are out of order and rightfully get what they deserve the rest of the decent fans don't get a fair deal. Again I still feel there is too many police and horses about at lesser games outside, surely this must cost a bit? They don't seem to be about when there is traffic issues or is this another dept? :fish:
-
You must surely agree there is far too much police in the stands doing bugger all expect in many cases causing more tension and grief than is nessesary? I'm not expetcing you to agree for some reason. The same goes on the outside of the ground, far too many doing nothing, and some talking to fans like they are some sort of god and do as I say or else attitiude. And you don't think there is worse crimes going on outside football grounds that they could be dealing with than arresting 2 or 3 fans for singing?
-
I still can't believe our county voted for the SNP and for Hitler Salmond! Were the police trying to get their stats up last night Why don't they spend more time trying to catch real criminals rather than a few who sing songs, or did our fans even do that last night and do the police know when they lift fans if they are actually right in doing so? They are and will cause more trouble by doing so. They are trying to turn our country into a boring silence one where saying/singing anything will be offensive going by what Salmond and the police force want. Both are a joke.

How I am picking on you, grow up it's a forum gazza. How can first team competitive football for a young boy making his way in the game not help and improve him? Just because it's not worked in the past for others, there has been some where it has helped them plenty. Again the OP was in a postive manner but your post doesnt state anything other than negative on the young player and the lower clubs, and you say I nick pick ha ha good one. And you say that when after someone starts a post yesterday with the Rangers team your only reply is 'shite bench'. That sums you up for me and i'll do us both a favour (i'm sure you'll agree to that) and stop replying to your 'negative' posts after this one
-
From a very positive OP on a young Rangers player out on laon you've done your usual negative spin, shock horror :fish: Getting first team games rather than playing youth or reserve football is giving him a chance to improve himself no matter what level, it's up to him to take it and he's had a very good start by the looks of it.

what do they expect if their product is pish then less fans will go which means less money coming through the gates. it will get worse if they move out the city, only the die hards will go and that wont be many these days. what a shame
-
I just don't think one defeat by them would have made much difference in ticket sales zappa, i could be wrong though. They have most of the money from season tickets now and I cant imagine our ticket sales would've dropped that much if we did get beat.
-
Kyle Hutton getting lots of praise from Thistle fans
johnnyk replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Good to see, I hope he learns from his time there and comes back a better player like others have done in the past and he gets a chance with us. -
Fair do's mate, but I still disagree we would've signed him as we can't afford to sign someone just to keep the fans happy
-
IMO unless we get silly money I am quite confident on keeping most of our players if not all, for the next few seasons at least. They have signed new contracts and we don't need to sell and I think most want to play and stay with us to win more trophies.
-
you think zappa? i'm not so sure mate, nothing much has been said by the club apart from he's here on a 2 week trial, just like that german guy was earlier in the season. I don't know much about him but I am quite happy with our squad again this season. We still have a number to come back from injury and the new midfielders are still to get a good run out in the team. I am not bothered one way or another if he signs or not and it certainly wouldn't have cheered me up any if we did get beat by them on Sunday.
-
Of course he did, but he did say he made a mistake but he can't change it now can he, who hasn't made a mistake in life! He is one of the few who always has a good word to say about Rangers on SKY or elsewhere, I love the guy and always look forward to hearing what he has to say.

Nothing official, why let that get in the way of a negative Rangers story
-
and most of the tims look alike, pikies the lot of em
-
I really hate aberdeen but certainly not more than the tims, in fact i hate every other team in Scotland but hate Celtic far more than anyone else
-
and to think the sheep fans hated calderwood, they said it was because he lost to lesser teams in the cups. he gave them top 6 finishes and european football, what have they done since! we all know it was because he is a gers man that they didn't like him!

fair enough..... we just had a great result against the tims and played the best football of the season in the 2nd half yet some still seem so negative, poor player performances etc, i've watched the game a few times and still don't see anyone who was poor or who didnt work their socks off to help us win easy in the end. lafferty did a story in the paper and gets slagged by some also, i just don't see why again, he never said anything wrong that i can see. I don't mind 'bad' words about our team or player/s if they deserve it, just don't understand it when we've played great and beat our biggest rivals very easily. -
ha ha what a shame, and to think they got rid of Jimmy calderwood for Mark McGhee and Brown...... If they ever move outside the city and keep playing the way they are they will be lucky to have around 5,000 every home game!!
-
IF this is true, you would think a figure would have been discussed before he started his trial that both were happy they could work with. What is the point in having him for a trial then discover we can't afford him!

Police warn against Old Firm-related domestic violence
johnnyk replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The police are like every other public service and on the receiving end of funding cuts and are just pleading poverty IMO taking the heat of themselves. Maybe if it sorted out the corrupt officers within the force that might help and get on with their jobs like the rest of us. -

Is it true that a lot of the incidents that occurred before the game on Sunday get labelled under the 'old firm' crimes? Is there stats on how many are actually linked to the game itself and in what way? -
