exactly, some love him some hate him, he scores for fun but is too lazy for some it's a never ending saga ...................

Who said he was a goalscoring god and who cares what he done after he left us? He was our top scorer every season he was here, we got him for not much and he paid that back many a time for me. The SPL is crap but he is the highest goalscorer in SPL history, we won't get someone who scored as many goals for what we paid for him unless we get lucky.

Sorry Craig I don't agree, Boyd was selfish but most strikers need to be selfish to score as many goals as they do. I don't think he was all about Boyd as he did enjoy playing for us and seemed to enjoy scoring goals for us as most of his celebrations looked like he enjoyed it. He did up his workrate like you said before he left did it help the team more? As I've said I couldn't care less if players are lazy do nothing else but score that's their job, I don't think he would've scored more goals or the team would've scored more goals just because he could've tried harder, maybe we would have but we'll never know now. He was the best finisher and his goals speak for that and the team should always play to those stengths IMO. Can't people change their minds, I don't hold anything against him just because he said he might stay if WS stayed then left, it happens all the time and not just in football, he got a better deal elsewhere but it's not worked out for him but I don't think he'll regret it and why should he? If that's why fans are slagging him then it's poor IMO as for the money we bought him for he paid that many times over and his goals helped us win trophies at the end of the day.

Miller is a better all rounder no doubt and IMO a partnership up front needs a worker and a poacher, even better if the worker can also score a few like miller did. Boyd was the better finisher and miller was the workhorse and it worked well.

It's not enough for some fans though, if he did have a better all round game he probably would've left Rangers before he did to a better team. Just because he didn't run around like Miller did or as they put it 'try' harder or they said he looked like he was lazy it was not good enough even though he was our top scorer every season he was with us and helping us win trophies which he certainy did. I just don't get fans slagging him off either, if he did run around like say Miller, IMO Boyd wouldn't have been in positions to score the goals he did.

I am an other who just likes goalscorers, i'm not interested in what else they do, and Boyd was just a goalscorer nothing else, he was not a patch on some strikers we've had in the past but he was the best we had at the time. I can see why fans don't like him but the stick he got and still gets when he scored lots of goals for us and helped us win titles and cups was/is shocking IMO.

All about opinions mate, we are short up front and we are missing lots of chances he'd score IMO and he's proven in the SPL, he'll do for me and hope he does come back.

He can't really defend, he stays well of his man who he is meant to be marking, doesn't close his man down and is usually well beaten when taken on by a player who also most of the time get their crosses into the box., he is much better going foward. He was dreadful yesterday and nearly lost us the game more than once and it's not the first time he's done that this season. Do we have better though? I would give Jordan McMillan a chance he's 23 now? and should be playing first team football and we've offered the guy a new contract I think he deserves a chance or why keep him.

Not from a defensive side but going forward I think we have missed him.

Whatever fans think of him we certainly miss his driving runs from the back, I wish our midfielders would run at players the same way

He must be good prospect as they do seem pissed off with him which is why he's not been in their squad for a while. WBA have offered more money than what they would get from clubs up here which is why they would rather he went down south and they also hate dealing with us it seems. Heard all the rumours that he's a Blue nose but we've heard all that before, but it's nice to see we're interested in good young Scottish prospects.

i'm sure there has been ex celtic players that have said the same about us and to players who have been linked to us, can't see what the problem is here.

eh no there was contact albeit minimal and he was travelling at speed, have you ever played football before? Again you are wrong, I think there was contact simple as that. If it was as clear cut say like the Naismith elbow I would have no problem saying so but it's not IMO. Likewise for your posts on this

Just because you think it was a dive doesn't make you right. He went down easy who doesn't but the overreaction is unreal as usual because it's a Rangers player. From one angle I can see slight contact even if you can't that for me is enough for him to go down as he was going at speed in the penatly box. He should get no more than a yellow card if the panel think it was a dive like you do, the rules are pish. The ref should then get pulled up as well. It's all about opinions

Good on him to get us a penalty I say and as some have said get us the 3 points in the end, I thought there was slight contact but that's just my opinion. A yellow card he should get if the panel say otherwise for both him and the ref

Get him in the first team he can't do any worse than the so called older pro's who have not done much the last few games..........

Good luck to them, must be great to even get a trial at a great club such as Rangers.........
