  2. Herald on Twitter: Martin Williams ‏ @Martin1Williams #Rangers admins broker a deal with #CraigWhyte to sell his shares to the #BlueKnights consortium if they become the winning bidders
  3. good stuff mate, i'm taking Sam to the family section at the front of the broomloan rear, should be a good view from there
  4. looking forward to going tomorrow
  5. I've replied again saying I will be making no more donations as they have not been honest with us. Some fans might be happy to have paid debts due to other clubs by Rangers but I'm not giving donations for them to do that.
  6. I did mention this in my email but obviously like most it has been forgotten about and only recent times remembered.
  7. Here is a reply I got back after questioning paying debts to clubs rather than pay our staff first and foremost. -------------------- Hi John Thank for the email. This debt is a debt of Rangers Football Club and the committee along with the Administrators today decided this would be paid this week. You will have hopefully read that Rangers and the Fans Fighting Fund will be this week clearing the debt to Dunfermline Athletic and happily so. With regards to Dundee United, you will not have yet read that have Rangers FC in court tomorrow with the SFA on 5 different charges with regards to the Scottish Cup match monies due DAFC are in serious financial trouble but not once did they "stick the knife" into Rangers, whereas DUFC have been doing this to the club and fans for several years now. I hope this clarifies the reasoning behind not paying DUFC the money and the SFA have a reserve of money for this sort of issue and hopefully they will see fit to pay DUFC from that tomorrow. We have had a huge response and now over £260,000 has been raised so have not yet got round to thanking everyone personally for their donation. If you can let me know the date that it was sent then I will check and confirm. Thanks
  8. thought you would've had a bet mate.... it more than pays for tickets to Friday's game for me and Sam and get him some stuff from the shop beforehand he says ta for his pennies from you
  9. only got 12/5 but won a wee bit
  10. DUFF and Phelps, the administrators of Rangers Football Club, have given their reaction to the decisions made today by Lord Hodge at the Court of Session in Edinburgh Paul Clark, joint administrator, said: "We welcome the decisions announced by Lord Hodge today and view them as a significant step towards clarifying the future for Rangers Football Club. "Lord Hodge has made it clear that the Ticketus arrangements do not mean Ticketus has property or real rights over seats at the stadium or, indeed, the proceeds from the sale of future season tickets. "Lord Hodge has stated Ticketus has what are known as contractual rights, essentially a contract between the Club and themselves. It is clear from the judgement that, as administrators, we have the statutory right and powers to have the company (the Club) refuse to honour the Ticketus arrangements if such a decision would be in the interests of creditors generally. "Lord Hodge has also referred to the various applications we made to the court. Initially, we did ask for guidance on the immediate termination of the Ticketus contract. We fully accept this guidance could not be given without disclosing the details of bids for the Club in open court. "This would most certainly not have been in the interests of creditors or the football club, particularly since the party which were subject to the legal proceedings also have an active interest in a bid for the Club. "We note the request from Ticketus following today's judgement for matters to be brought to a conclusion as soon as is possible in relation to the sale of the Club. We couldn't agree more. "However, a number of competing bids have been submitted to purchase the Club and the bid that will ultimately be successful will be the one that is in the best interests of the creditors and the business. "To date, our discussions with bidders have been very constructive and we will continue these discussions with all parties, including the consortium in which Ticketus is involved, in an effort to achieve a successful outcome. "We intend to create a shortlist of bids at the earliest opportunity and have no doubt today's decision will have a significant bearing on the proposals put forward by bidders to date."
  11. David Hillier (@DavidHillier) News reports that Ticketus won case are completely wrong. Judge ruling is that he could not provide clarity on case because of lack of information.
  12. Chris McLaughlin‏@BBCchrismclaugReply #Rangers administrators believe today's news from court states they have final say on whether the Ticketus deal is honoured Rangers administrators statement due soon. They appear pleased by today's judgement
  13. That's my take on it, they are obviously backing BK and if they take over then will get paid back slowly (but still paid back). It's in their interest for us still to have a team challenging for the title and play in Europe again in the future as more season tickets will be sold so they will get more money back. It is getting a bit confusing for me though, doesn't take much these days
  14. Ticketus Statement Response to court ruling Ticketus is issuing a statement following today’s decision by Lord Hodge not to grant the Administrators’ request for the Court to give them the right to tear up the ticket purchase agreement (the “contract”) Ticketus has with Rangers Football Club (“Rangers” or “the Club”). The legality of Ticketus’ contract was not an issue. The Court has made it clear today that the Ticketus contract cannot be breached unless there is substantial evidence that by doing so the Administrators are able to significantly improve returns for creditors and improve the chance of returning the Club to a going concern. Given the strength of the Blue Knights Consortium’s bid, and Ticketus’ role in this with its contract remaining valid and enforceable, we question the ability for this to happen. Ticketus’ position Ticketus has a duty to its investors to protect the investment that it currently has in the Club. As previously stated, we will do everything necessary to defend our position to ensure our contract is honoured and our investors’ interests are protected. With Ticketus as part of the solution, the Blue Knights Consortium, led by Paul Murray, can achieve a rapid resolution for the Club and provide it with a future that is free of unnecessary uncertainty. By incorporating Ticketus into their bid, the Consortium is uniquely able to secure this outcome. Blue Knights Consortium’s Bid Ticketus’ preference remains being part of a solution that brings financial stability to the Club. We are confident that the Consortium’s bid is in the best interests of the Club, its fans and creditors by guaranteeing the future of Rangers and ending this period of uncertainty for the Club. Collectively, the Consortium has the ability to provide the Club with the financial stability it needs to continue to perform at the highest level of competition. The Consortium is committed to providing Rangers’ loyal fan base with the transparency and disclosure it deserves, as well as exploring ways for fans to have a closer relationship with the management of their Club. Resolution With every week that passes, further value is destroyed in the Club. To conclude the administration process as soon as possible so that the Club can secure its future in the hands of a new owner is in everyone’s interest. We feel confident that we can conclude this process more swiftly than other bidders.
  15. David Cowan‏@stvdavidc Judge has declined to give #rangers administrators legal guidance on how they could terminate the ticketus contract. So deal still stands. David Cowan‏@stvdavidcReply Judge also declined to give ticketus preferential treatment as #rangers creditors. They will have to join the queue like everybody else.
  16. It'll just be more of his lies will it not?
  17. Agree is will of course be much better if we beat the scum, but whatever the result it should be a decent day out and hopefully raise more funds for our club and show them up for what they are.
  18. good luck to the lad.........
  19. That's my donation made to the RFFF, hopefully I will win some of it back at cheltenham today
  20. He supports Hearts and also thinks he is a HIBS casual and him and his brother like Celtic as they are staunch Catholics he should be locked up for life
  21. I think of saverangers.com as a future share initiative for fans to buy when a takeover hopefully happens? I pledged £1000 to this and would still buy shares if this went ahead in the way I think it will. I will also soon make a very smaller donation to the new fighting fund which is asking for money now to save the club short term before any takeover happens. I agree with others there should only be one site doing this as it does and is causing confusion among supporters.
  22. Chris McLaughlin‏@BBCchrismclaugReply To clarify, all #Rangers players have now agreed to wage cuts. Still to be officially signed off though different class from them all.........
  23. Exactly I thought they had to 'check' everyone before they take over a club?
  24. Let Whittaker go for starters he won't be missed "Then two of our highest paid players, both out injured just now, told the Administrators that their wage cut should only be 50% as they couldnâ??t earn win bonuses." Ha ha what a joke
