  1. It's not all about money, these things don't happen very often yet people still moan when they do. I think this has cheered up millions of people in the UK (and the world) even the skint ones who like the Royals. The ones who moan they don't want to watch it why don't they just turn over to another channel there is plenty on SKY of even freeview these days or just switch it off! Wouldn't it just be better to ignore it rather than moan about it unless of course you like a good moan!! I hardly seen any live stuff about the Jubilee but watched some on SKY+ and found some of it very good and have to admit I love watching all the union flags flying it's a great site to see. The Queen IMO works hard and has done during her reign, she certainly does more than people think but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'd rather celebrate something British than the likes of St Patricks day or special visits from foreigners!
  2. why wouldn't he be, his future is on the line and i'm sure most of the out of contract players are doing the same......
  3. didn't he say recently he wanted to stay, we'll soon see.....
  4. Hope he stays, good young versatile player who will IMO get better the more playing time he gets for us.
  5. No thanks i'd rather play a young boy before the likes of Black............
  6. I am all for giving youngsters a chance but not all young players are at the same level. If we 'have/had' to play them due to our circumstances we might end up ruining some players careers if they are played too much at such a young age. I'm sure Rangers would/will get the blame if this did happen though!!
  7. What about playing a team of youngsters (we might have to anyway)? To raise more money could we instead create a small league of decent teams in Europe who also do not have European football next season playing home and away with the home teams keeping the money? I'm sure we could sell out 3 or 4 games midweek with decent opposition to make up for no European games, get the club some money, give our young players experience against European teams and give the fans something else than dull Scottish football or is this against Uefa rules?
  8. I think it's mainly in the best interests of Rangers, they seem to be the only ones talking who do seem to care what happens to us but seem to be just coming up short with their bids or D&P just don't like them I don't know. Green doesn't have the best of backgrounds with Sheff Utd and unless more details come out in the open fans are always going be against it IMO.
  9. It looks like TBK are still fighting for us, surely D&P must see sense and accept their bid as they seem the only ones really interested in saving us!!
  10. This just shows D&P are just lying bastards!!!

  12. It looks like we're getting buggered by everyone. SDM, then Craig Whyte, the SFA and for the last few months D&P and now this comes out. It's very worrying and certainly looks like they couldn't care less about us, depressing news.......
  13. As a matter of extreme urgency the three leading Rangers fan organisations have asked for an immediate meeting with the club administrators, Duff and Phelps. In view of the recent history of the club and the purchase process all Rangers fans are highly nervous about the identity of potential owners and that they have the ability to deliver promises made in bidding for the club. Fans are the major investors in Rangers and deserve clarity on potential owners and the plans they have for the club ahead of completion of a deal. 14. SSN reporting the London consortium to be named PB shortly ............
  15. From FF: @mattslaterbbc In meantime, D&P says it will be tomorrow morning now for decision, sounds like this new lot in pole position #RFC
  16. STV News‏@STVNews Rangers crisis: Administrators say there are two bids left on the table after Blue Knights withdrew from running http://bit.ly/JlryXv
  17. Rangers FC Official ‏ @RFC_Official AMcC - Spoke to the administrators & they were very positive and said they were very close to naming a preferred bidder. Rangers FC Official ‏ @RFC_Official AMcC - I know one of the gentlemen involved in one of the bids for the club. I'd be very positive about this gentlemen but I've not met him.
  18. I was just going to say the same, it was reported he sold them to the consortium for £1....
  19. I think Villa have been unlucky with injuries this season, with little or no money to spend either McLeish has kept them up and i'm sure he will be there for at least the start of next season. They have a few youngsters there who look good prospects but they need to invest or will be a bottom of the league club from now on.
  20. Scottish football has been poor for years, value for money even when winning trophies is virtually non existent and has been for years. the season ticket prices won't be coming down but will continue to go up if we stay in the SPL, and if we don't I doubt it will come down much for us to keep surviving. I am really not enjoying going to games (except from the social side but even that has had it's down side for me this season lol) and it's only going to get worse from here for a long time. I am thinking along the lines I would rather spend my Saturdays or whenever with my family and for someone who has been going for years I didn't think I would be saying this. Then again I might think differently once the season nears
  21. The next 2 home games could be my last ever, sad days.
  22. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2138164/Rangers-look-set-newco-option.html Manager Ally McCoist insists the history of Rangers will never be lost â?? even if the Ibrox club are reborn as a newco. As another day passed without the appointment of a preferred bidder, McCoist expressed the view that a newco club, reapplying for membership of the SPL, now looks increasingly likely. That was later denied by Brian Kennedy, one of the two bidders in the frame, who insisted that he and Paul Murrayâ??s Blue Knights consortium still believe they can achieve their goal of a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) with creditors and exit administration before next season. History boy: Ally McCoist is not concerned about the effects of a newco With time running out, however, Kennedy or American Bill Miller cannot rule out the possibility of dumping the toxic debts of old Rangers and buying up the assets to establish a new club, playing out of Ibrox. Supporters remain opposed to losing the heritage and history of the existing club, but McCoist believes it wouldnâ??t be a disaster. He said: â??If it happened, we would still have the history of the club, absolutely. I have done a bit of homework on it and newcos have happened at clubs like Plymouth and Crystal Palace. â??I can imagine people would try to wind up supporters about it â?? thatâ??s part and parcel of the game. â??But, make no mistake, we wouldnâ??t lose our history at all. We wouldnâ??t allow that to happen. â??If there is a team playing at Ibrox in blue shirts, itâ??s Rangers. I think Iâ??m right in saying we only became a plc in 1899, which was 27 years after we were formed. Nobody really recognises that change, but there have been changes all the way down the years. â??Rangers are Rangers and that would be the opinion of the vast majority of people.â?? Still in the game: Brian Kennedy is waiting to hear from the adminstrators Kennedy submitted a â??materially increasedâ?? conditional offer to the Rangers administrators on Saturday night and he awaits news of its fate from Duff & Phelps. The Edinburgh-born businessman has said all along that his offer is conditional on the delivery of a CVA and Craig Whyteâ??s shares and that remains his stance, despite McCoistâ??s view both bids could feature a newco structure. Kennedy told Sportsmail: â??There is still time to do a CVA. That remains our preference, but it is very difficult.â?? Miller has proposed setting up an â??incubator companyâ?? into which he would transfer the clubâ??s assets. Asked if his plan involved a newco in any shape or form, Kennedy said: â??The fact is that when people talk about a newco they donâ??t mean an investment vehicle. â??They mean that the SPL share will transfer from Rangersâ?? old company into a new Rangers company â?? and that is why they need to be accepted into the SPL. In the running: Bill Miller â??Itâ??s also why they canâ??t play in Europe for three years. Thatâ??s all it means.â?? Kennedy had hoped to be given the green light to move forward by Tuesday night, but McCoist believes the process could drag on until the end of the week. He added: â??Two potential purchasers are still in heavy negotiations with the administrators. â??They are really hopeful to have named preferred bidders very soon â??certainly before the end of the week and maybe before that.â?? â??I spoke to Bill Miller on Friday for an-hour-and-a-half. I also spoke with Brian Kennedy on Friday. â??They are both seriously interested and they are certainly asking the right questions of myself and the administrators. â??Right now, itâ??s looking like a newco. Iâ??m told that both potential purchasers have newco as part of their plan, but itâ??s not liquidation. â??Thatâ??s a very important point because I think the vast majority of the fans do not want liquidation. I would imagine there are some of them who wonâ??t be happy with a newco. â??I think if the newco is the best option without liquidation, then hopefully the fans will come round to it.â??
  23. think it'll be an open game with both teams going for the win and city just to edge it..............
  24. got a bet on Real Madrid from the start, hoping they get through and win of course, but well done Chelsea, not many gave them a chance!!!
