I doubt the fans would all do this as they can't trust one supporters group. And there would need to be continuous investment would the fans do this?
-
From FF, don't know how true it is. "DD to go ahead as planned and first payment will come off on the 29th June. If they are cheaper (division 3 etc) the payments will be adjusted to suit." They can't expect fans to continue buying these when we don't know what is happening.
-
Surely the SPL clubs have to vote ASAP due to the fixtures coming out soon in the SPL and SFL. Other clubs would be affected as well as in promotion if we go down to div 3, and budgets by the SPL clubs would need adjusted as we won't be there. Also the ticket cost would be much less than what they are charging now but would the fans be willing to pay the same amount if it helps the club. If someone else was in charge maybe but I doubt it with Green there and when would we find this out? My first payment is due to come off my account at the end of the month, I might have to cancel this if nothing has been decided by then!!!

We may see a few SPL teams in the lower leagues in the near future as if the SKY deal goes along with no money from us then i'm sure a number of clubs will go into administration or liquidation. I really find it sad not many 'Rangers men' were/are willing to put more money into the club. There must be some out there who have money and love the club and would be willing to help? And surely now a debt free Rangers (even given the Europe ban and possibility of SFL football) would be a good buy if run the correct way by good business men who are not just looking to make a quick buck but are in it for the long haul? The fans could easily put millions into the club but there are so many fans groups and bigger ego's within them I don't think they can be trusted which makes it hard for the fans to get behind one group or leader.

5 years without European football - how can we cope?
johnnyk replied to bigy's topic in Rangers Chat
I agree with that, Scottish teams will be out in the first few rounds of Europe for a while unless they get lucky and the co efficient will be low for decades to come. We would need to cut back even more than we have but should be able to live within our means, it would mean less wages, less everything basically and with good fan backing we might even make a profit? Welcome BTW -
Yes they have lied to us and quite a few fell for it including myself, but there was some who warned us of course

The damage one man has caused to our club and history is unbelievable, I hope he gets what's coming to him along with the tyrant Murray..........
-
That would be good there has been lots of reports and stories saying he is and due to his 75% pay cut I am taking that as he is in the top 5 when he signed his new 5 year deal at the end of 2010. I would take numerous paper and media reports over your opinion as you have nothing to back it up really. You say you are right but have nothing to back it up bit silly IMO.
-
I agree with Daniel, he did take the 75% wage cut and is one of our highest earners, it's been well documented unless you have proof otherwise?
-
I agree and I honestly think McGregor and Naismith would take pay cuts to help us and want to stay.
-
They were still the better team and should've won with the chances the had...
-
It would be good but I can see Davis going, I doubt we can afford to keep him on the wages he is on....
-
They are still selling them so the must have them in stock and I know plenty who have recently ordered (for child and adult) from the site and got them fine, there is also plenty in sports shops I see so they do have them. I've not heard until now no one getting their top delivered.
-
Again I disagree, van Brommel is the dirty type of player you need in a team and the kind you hate to play against (he did play 39 times in a good milan team last season) although they do have de jong as well for that. Kuyt is still a very good player, works his socks off, scores goals, great team player he would be in my team every week.
-
I disagree Pete, not to good in defence but good goalkeepers and great from midfield to forward IMO. De Jong, Sneijder, Robben, Afellay, van der Vaart, even van Brommel, then you have Kuyt, Huntelaar, van Persie and all have lots of experience at top level. I can see them going close.

My money is on Germany, followed by Holland...........

it's another positive move forward, and hopefully once the CVA goes through we will get more info.

Reaction to Lafferty's wedding in a Catholic church

With her looks and I think she is also pregnant, along with his injury claims, looks like he's been too busy to update his FB page -
Cardiff City fans fume over red shirt rebranding
johnnyk replied to 54andcounting's topic in General Football Chat
It's mainly to pay their debt and a fee of around £30m was agreed from what I read in another article. They were also losing £1m a month from what I read.... -
from what i've read and heard it is, not saying your wrong but have you anything to say he's not? we probably couldn't afford all 3 in our present state can we?

Don't want to feel left out so I better post on here Well done to big Lafferty for pulling such a braw woman, congrats on your wedding -
I see what you're saying we need to keep players but at what cost, is he actually worth keeping while hardly playing, I think the answer is no. He never really played last season and cost about £10k a week I believe. Surely we can find (or have) younger players with potential on much less money. I like Healy but i'd rather have 2 promising younger players on cheaper wages than him regarding the number of games he has and would probably play in the future for us. Good luck to him in his future.
-
I'm sort of in the middle, it would be better for the players to get away from all the shitey press over here, it is probably better weather to train in and it will be their only trip to Europe this season , but is it worth spending money when we have none, unless we did get help or did get it cheaper than normal but will we ever find out?

maybe we got a group discount on cheap flights and accommodation mate
