Fair to me is it was 11 against 11 at similar levels, they could've and did beat us during these years (2000-01 they won, 2001-02 they won by 18 points, 2002-03 we won on GD, 2003-04 they won by 17 points, 2004-05 we by 1 point, 2005-06 they won by 18 points from us, 2006-07 they won by 12 points, 2007-08 they won by 3 points) . We didn't sign any superstars or world class players in fact a lot were absolutely shocking and took money for giving nothing back.

They can't without the money we bring in through TV deals though as more clubs will go into admin or worse (they were warned), they want it all i.e. get rid of us but still want the money we can bring in to help them not us. Hopefully the SFL can see they can benefit from having us whilst also giving us our fair share for being in the SFL unlike the greedy SPL.

I agree but it does look they are making a deal between the SPL/SFA/SFL on who gets what TV money before they give us our license unless I have it wrong?

I am thinking along the lines that it does all come down to who is getting what TV money etc before they give us our license, but it's getting shocking the time things are taking, but going by what has happened recently they don't care about us just the money we bring in for all the other teams. it will be a last minute thing before we hear to give us as little time as possible to prepare but hopefully by us getting some players in place to sign that will obviously help.

A good idea and hope they don't lose out too much on this.

I agree we'd stay up with what we have now and with even average signings we would finish 2nd at least the SPL is that bad.

At this moment I don't think it's about good value it's about getting back up the leagues anyway possible. If our fans want our club back at the top then this is a great way to start helping them do it.

I hate the split get rid of it.....
