Francisco Sandaza has completed his move to Rangers, the player’s agent has confirmed to STV. Sandaza becomes Ally McCoist’s third capture of the summer, after netting free agents Dean Shiels and Ian Black. He could be eligible to play in Tuesday night's Legaue Cup tie with East Fife if his registration is processed with the Scottish FA and Scottish Football League in time. The striker left St Johnstone at the end of last season after netting 17 times for the Saints. Despite interest from Steve Lomas in bringing him back to Perth, as well as offers from the continent, the Spaniard has opted to pen a four year deal with Rangers. Clive Jagger, Sandaza’s representative, confirmed the contract has been signed. Sandaza is believed to be earning a net £5000 a week at Ibrox. -

On FF that Greens saying to crowd queuing for tickets at Ibrox that we signed 2 players yesterday but no names as yet. Rumours are that it's Sandaza and Cribari. -
Big queues at Ibrox again I hear (and seen pictures on FF), good news and hopefully we get a decent crowd.

Some 'tims' I know really think we are going to go bust by xmas and they will win the SPL for the next 10-20 years. This is the shite they reply with when you ask them about the crowd size for their first home game of the season, they also don't reply when I mention that we might get a bigger crowd for our first home league game of the season -

FRAN SANDAZA will jet into Scotland today for signing talks with Rangers boss Ally McCoist. The Spaniard is likely to turn down an offer from Hercules in his homeland to sign a four-year deal at Ibrox. SunSport revealed three weeks ago that McCoist had rekindled his interest and a deal was put on the table over the weekend for the 27-year-old. Sandaza is a free agent after leaving St Johnstone at the end of last season and has had offers from Spain, Belgium, Turkey and Ukraine. McCoist is set to beat off that interest to land the forward he has targeted to spearhead Rangersâ?? rise back through the leagues. The Light Blues had initially offered Sandaza a three-year contract, but have added another 12 months to the deal after Hercules made their interest known in the man who hit 18 goals for Saints last seasonand helped fire the Perth side into Europe. He first came to Scotland in 2008 to sign for Dundee United following a successful spell with Valenciaâ??s B side â?? but after a good first season struggled with injury. And with Rangersâ?? signing embargo lifted until the end of the month, McCoist appears to have won the race for his signature. -
Don't you think moaning about where our name comes in a league that hasn't started is very trivial, especially when there was an explanation for it? Regarding the Falkirk situation did I mention any other teams apart from them and I also said they did say things about us previously? They changed their tune as soon as they realised they could lose or make money when they were drawn against us, they would not have made that statement otherwise would they? I would really love to see a boycott for a few seasons of away games to all those who kicked us when we were down to show them how much we really mean to Scottish football, you can make your own spin any way you want.

Rangers have signed former Hibernian and Kilmarnock midfielder Dean Shiels. The 27-year-old Northern Ireland international moves to Ibrox as a free agent following an excellent season at Rugby Park. He won the League Cup with the Ayrshire side and was nominated for Scotland's player of the year. Rangers, who are preparing for life in Division Three, will announce details of the contract at a 13:30 BST media conference. Meanwhile, club owners Sevco Scotland Limited is changing its name to The Rangers Football Club Limited. An extraordinary general meeting of 'oldco' shareholders took place at Ibrox, where procedures were approved to enable the name change. Charles Green's Sevco consortium completed the purchase of the business and assets of Rangers in June after the club was consigned to liquidation following failure to secure a Company Voluntary Arrangement in order to exit administration. Rangers were granted conditional Scottish Football Association membership on Friday night, which will be completed when the formal transfer of 'oldco' Rangers' Scottish Premier League share to Dundee takes place later this week. "The process that took place today is the penultimate piece of the jigsaw that will see The Rangers Football Club move forward, with the transfer of SFA membership being the final piece," Green told the club website. http://www.tv.rangers.co.uk/articles/20120731/dean-joins-gers_2254024_2866482 -
No problem that's your opinion mate and I can understand it, I just think the way these clubs treated us and still seem to be calling us newco whatever etc the best way to get back is not only beat them but give them none of our money which is why their trust has came out with that statement. They wanted us punished severely for 'sporting' reasons but still want to 'live' of us and our fans whenever they can so it's a no for me on that reason and I can't move on as quickly as that after what some clubs have done to us and said about us not so long ago.
-
We can also do that but giving them little money in tickets sales would also please me Their trust statement is just to get more ticket sales and sort of contradicts what they said last month, hit them where it hurts most I say!

I hope we boycott this game after reading some of the comments about us on their forum!! http://www.onefinfalkirk.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2

RANGERS last night offered Craig Beattie a contract, but he has a more lucrative deal on the table from League One side Notts County. The former Celtic and Hearts striker, below, is weighing up his options after spending last week on trial with the Light Blues. Rangersâ?? offer to Beattie, 28, is believed to be linked to the number of games he plays given his past injury problems. Attacking midfielder Dean Shiels, 27, will have a medical today prior to the ex-Kilmarnock star signing a four-year deal. Ibrox boss Ally McCoist currently has former Hearts hitman Kevin Kyle, 31, on trial and several foreign options up his sleeve. Talks are still ongoing with Greek international midfielder Pantelis Kafes, with the deal close to completion. The 34-year-old is prepared to accept a cut-price deal on a fraction of the £9,000-per-week wage that had initially been reported. There is also the possibility of more departures, with Alejandro Bedoya set to confirm his move to Swedish side Helsingborgs. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/336422 -

great commitment but I thought he was poor most of last season and dreadful yesterday, slow to react to anything, cost the goal and made other mistakes. I was hoping he would leave as he is on big wages and we could replace him with better IMO.

I liked this from Green I must admit but we need more of the same. "I think everyone knows that it's Rangers that are playing at Ibrox whether its owned by company A or company B. "Our main rivals - or our former main rivals - across the city they have had three different companies in their lifespan. "In fact if you look at their corporate structure now it's more complicated than Rangers' is. "So it's not about an individual or a corporate company with a registration number. This is Rangers and will always be Rangers."
