  1. I take it you've never ran up and down murder hill then lots of teams still use it today for fitness.
  2. Dorin Goian has vowed to return to Rangers once his loan spell with Italian Serie B club Spezia is over, claiming he only quit the Irn-Bru Third Division ide to salvage his World Cup dream. Goian told the Daily Record: "In 10 months I'll be back to Glasgow. I am in Italy for one year for a loan and that's it. "When it's over I'll have my contract with Rangers again and I hope something is going to change and I'll get the chance to play in the SPL again with Rangers."
  3. After some of the stuff he gets/has had shouted to him by again our own supporters long before that incident it's a wonder he hasn't hit anyone and he did apologise i'm sure, things do happen in the heat of the moment sometimes he is human. He's a hard working player, had one decent season and I don't rate him to be honest. but I would never slate him to the levels some of fans do it's shameful IMO.
  4. we could do with him now to be honest.......
  5. Cheers, I thought he only had 9 months left. Hopefully he can find a new club without us paying him off though.
  6. No one is saying that but is there any need for numerous threads about the same thing?
  7. Surely he will be given the chance to find another club without us paying him off saving them a fee and I doubt he is even due £400k as hasn't he only got 9/10 months on his contract left? All the best to him when he goes, some of the posts on other forums i've seen about him are vile, you have to wonder what planet these so called fans come from.
  8. He looks to be a very promising player indeed, I haven't seen anyone like him for a while play for us. The way he drops his shoulders and turns the other way and easily goes past players is a joy to watch. He can pass/cross and seems comfortable on the ball and loves to run with it. As long as he gets plenty of game time, stays injury free and other players look after him he can be a very good player. People will always make comparisons to past players and if he gets anywhere near where Durrant was before his injury I think we'll all be happy with that.
  9. Frankie is it true the BO/Union bears are moving to BF3/4? Just seen a thread on FF about it, saying it might happen before next home game!
  10. http://news.stv.tv/north/186720-future-of-aberdeen-football-club-could-be-in-doubt-as-councillors-vote/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter The future of Aberdeen Football Club could be in doubt if councillors vote against a community sports complex, according to club chairman Stewart Milne. Fingers crossed
  11. best way is just to ignore him, I haven't read any off his stuff for a long time as it looks like he just makes things up!!
  12. Surely a ban for this mods? We all have opinions but some are getting ridiculous.
  13. We should've won by more and had loads of chances, but good/lucky goalkeeping/defending and bad finishing didn't help. We just don't seem confident at the back just now though. Elsewhere the more we play together the better we will get i'm sure of that, Barrie McKay looks like a great prospect and was great when he came on. The crowd were great and so was the atmosphere, nothing negative to say apart from the referee being woeful and of course some of the posts on here as usual, par for the course though
  14. RANGERS are eyeing a move for Australian kid Francesco Stella. The attacking midfielder has arrived for a trial with the Third Division outfit whose 12-month transfer ban kicks in at the start of next month. Stella, 21, is free to leave Serie A side Siena two years after joining them from South Melbourne.
  15. Levein won't take Scotland forward and will/should be sacked soon, although with who's in charge of the SFA they probably won't and sign him on another contract, I can't stand him at all also
  16. it's not sad, we all care but just show it differently but over the years I don't tend to let bad results bother me much as it doesn't just affect you it's affects everyone else you come in contact with. He hasn't done great lets be honest and if he doesn't deliver he will be sacked i'm sure or moved elsewhere, i'm not a fan of his tactics either, i just don't understand our own fans calling our manager shite or whatever, if you don't like him fair enough but I think he or anyone else in their positions deserve a bit more respect sometimes.
  17. you can't do anything about it and it pissed me off as well like it would've most fans, but I have more important things to worry about these days than to let a result/s ruin my weekend or the whole season, I used to feel like that a long time ago but if I felt like that now i wouldn't bother going back. you've called him a few names from shite to an embarrassing manager from what i can see, is that not insults?
  18. as i said you would think some, including yourself, like to see us fail so you can slate McCoist or any other staff member you don't like at every opportunity. i'm not saying you have to like managers or players, there's been plenty I haven't in the past but they get my full backing when they are there on the pitch and also I give them a chance, as in a season or 2 before judging them too harshly. given our very different circumstances this season and given that we were 2nd in the SPL last season under very difficult circumstances and what he has done and said for/about us in that time he will continue to get my full backing for a while yet and i'm sure the majority are in the same boat. you don't like him or rate him fair enough but some of the insults you have been coming out with against him and some of our own people is poor and i don't understand our own so called fans doing that.
  19. some just can't seem to let it go, he's not going anywhere any time soon but they are just waiting for a bad result and seem to like posting about him failing, it must be personal but it's very petty and boring hearing the same stuff over and over.
  20. I would rather have Durrant as manager before Kenny shiels :fish: I would like Billy Davies or Harry Redknapp
  21. I don't really care as long as we win the league, which I think we will.
  22. Brazilian midfielder Andre Moritz has started a trial period with Rangers, STV understands. The 26-year-old, who holds Italian citizenship, is available on a free transfer having left Turkish club Mersin Idmanyurdu in the summer. Moritz has spent the last five years in Turkey, having moved to Kasimpasa S.K. from Fluminese in 2007, before going to spend a season apiece with Kayserispor and Mersin. A left-sided attacking player, Moritz arrived in Scotland at the weekend and joined Ally McCoist's side for training at Murray Park on Monday. Rangers have already added his compatriot Emilson Cribari to their squad, as reinforcements are added ahead of the commencement of a one-year signing embargo starting September 1.
  23. CHARLES GREEN last night revealed Rangers have finally settled their debts with Scottish clubs. The Ibrox chief was seething after being accused by callers on James Traynorâ??s BBC Scotland radio show of leaving clubs out of pocket while splashing cash on players. Green says he tried to get on Saturdayâ??s phone-in but couldn't get through. And now he wants to set the record straight. Green insisted while Dunfermline had previously been paid, the Third Division club has now also settled debts to Celtic, Hearts â?? over the signing of Lee Wallace â?? and Dundee United, over £35,000 for gate receipts. And he said: â??There are fans out there who think we are signing new players and havenâ??t paid our debts. This couldn't be further from the truth. â??They are not even my debts but Iâ??ve paid them anyway as we want to put this behind us and rise again. â??I want you to make the point really clear. There were people on Jim Traynorâ??s show saying it is wrong for Rangers to sign these new players when they havenâ??t paid this and havenâ??t paid that. â??But that is wrong. We have paid every club we owed money to in Scotland. â??We handed £500,00 to the SFA last Thursday to clear up all the fines and to pay what we owed the clubs.â? Green also insists there will be more arrivals at Rangers before the window closes on August 31 â?? and that other players will leave. The Ibrox club had snapped up Dean Shiels but their treble swoop for Kevin Kyle, Fran Sandaza and Emilson Cribari in one day had upset some callers. And the chief executive said: â??I will be further supporting Alistair with more signings he wants, so there shouldn't be a problem upsetting anyone now. â??We have other targets lined up. There will be more players coming into the club before deadline day but I canâ??t say who they are because I canâ??t pronounce their names. â??And there will be more players leaving the club.â? The players McCoist already has at his disposal had to come from behind to take a point at Peterhead on Saturday. And Green insists the players will have to fight even harder if they want to win promotion. He added: â??The players have to realise this is a fight. This is just the start. â??But Iâ??m used to it as from the day I came in, Iâ??ve been fighting. â??We have been fighting with the SFA, the SPL and now with Third Division clubs to take points off them so for us this is not strange.â? http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/f...-debts-1257144
  24. Is there any way we can have a separate bit on the forum for all the all the negative stuff I mean how many times do people need to repeat themselves slagging off the same formations, staff and players it's getting like FF on here
  25. it would take much longer to move up the leagues if we relied solely on our youth players and most of our fans would not like this they still want to see better experienced players than our youths, such as Black, Shiels, Sandaza etc. And then what's to say any of these youth players will turn out to be good enough for the SPL or Rangers in the SPL/Europe? A good mix is what is needed and hopefully this happens and it will not stop any youth players who are good enough to get in our first team.
