I still disagree that most players would want to go play for average/relegation teams just because it's the EPL but I know some would go and they have and still will and I know what you are saying but I still disagree that 99% would go. Try saying to ex Rangers/other SPL players that the medals they have won here are like school team medals I'm sure everyone would disagree and so do I. :cheers:

I disagree m8, money is of course very important but so is winning trophies for some IMO and staying near family and some families might not be happy to move away where they know no-one. it's not like they're getting paid pennies at Rangers and unless you are very careless you and your family will be set up for life after you stop playing or move from Rangers. Most players who leave will never win a thing in the EPL or elsewhere as they won't be joining the top teams, it does happen that a player can be happy to stay at a club. I think cousin's past troubles with clubs shows, to me anyway, he is just out to get the most money he can make no matter who it's with, which I have nothing against really but that's no good to any club IMO. Will he move again in 6 months if he's not happy at Fulham, if he goes there? I think quite a few of our players want to be here and wouldn't dream of joining a team who could easily and for me probably will get relagated. That's my opinion anyway.

pretty bad booing any rangers player but it's happened in the past and will in the future, as you say you can't educate some fans, but they pay their money and if they feel like that then it's up to them but I don't agree with it, even though for me he should never have been in the squad in the first place but we've had that discussion to death already........

I agree maybe if he played for real madrid they would come off more But he put us in trouble a few times with silly back heels and flicks instead of playing the siple pass as you say. Apart from Davis who done well I thought for his debut the rest of the midfield were pretty average at best. We need a real quality player in there (not buffel gribz :devil: ) to take take the ball and know what to do with it. Saying that some movement up front or elsewhere would help but there always seems to be nothing on apart from passing back and the long ball which I hate and gives away the ball virtually everytime. When you see an average greek team running in to space and passing so well you wonder why we can't do the same!!

the formation is very defensive as usual, if we played with even mcculloch on the left, boyd and novo up front it would give us much more choices attacking wise and we'd have someone on who can score goals. i like hemdani but what the point in him playing sometimes , it's like a man down as it's far too defensive at home especially IMO. I still think we have a chance to go through but need to start playing our best goalscorer to get us goals, if not what's the point in keeping the boy and potentially holding his career back!! naimsith should also have been given a game last night at some point IMO....

if we took our chances it would be over!!!

it was meant as a tongue in cheek comment, sorry if it offended you. I think we are both guessing, I have said he must have so much more on his mind with this possible move to the EPL that could/will affect his game. you said he seems ok and trust WS to be the judge on him and there's NO evidence to say he has other things on his mind that might affect his game. so unless we know him well which I don't think we do (maybe you do) we are both guessing, but IMO I think he might not be in the right frame of mind to play. but that's just my opinion.........

i've seen him there and he's nothing special to me m8, he has played there for us.......... we'll agree to disagree again i think

because i've seen buffel play virtually every game in his time here and he's done next to nothing m8 that's why ................

well you said it's nothing to do with loyalty yes, then said it's about ability yes ? is that it? it's not football manager we're playing here. the guy is ready or has been ready to move to a different team, maybe start a new life in london for a while now. he might be someone who can cope with this or someone who can't so his mental state comes into it for me not just his ability on the park. he might score a hattrick if picked or he might have a stinker and cost us the game just down to his mental state that's what i was trying to say !!

on 2 games he's being judged by you then? he done ok against hearts IMO, had a few chances to score, hit the target a few times which is what he is meant to do right? just never scored ......... I'm not saying he is thee man for the job but he's not the worst IMO.....

yes i remember, IMO I don't think players who move here for 6 months then jump ship right away for a better offer give a toss about our club do you? maybe he's not happy or going for more money or to play in a better league fair enough but I still don't think he gives a toss about Rangers. that's only my opinion m8, I don't think it's incorrect but you do fine.

in your opinion m8 but I don't think he is. he's a good player but not better than boyd or novo IMO.....

so we take one massive gamble on a player wanting away who doesn't give a toss about Rangers who might do well depending what mood he's in....no thanks boyd would get 1 chance in the game if buffel was playing maybe 2 if buffel gave us 2 five minute spells woopy doo.........:fish:
