We're just a shambles on the pitch as well as off it, nothing seems to have changed from last season. The new players will obviously help once they can play but again it's just plain embarrassing. It's going to be another long season watching this

Bocanegra signs for Chivas USA http://www.cdchivasusa.com/news/2013/07/chivas-usa-sign-us-mens-national-team-captain-carlos-bocanegra

I think he was told if he wanted to be in the world cup squad he would need to be playing at a higher level before hand. He will get a deal in the MLS next season no problem IMO. I would have loved him to stay for the next few seasons.
-
I think it's still on going but don't know where we are with it to be honest mate.
-
We could've/would've sold them pretty much straight away and not kept them for another year which is what you keep saying here. They all got clubs or offers pretty quickly to sort of back up what I trying to get at here. He and most of them were/are international players whether they were at a 4th tier club or not and we are not just any 4th tier club are we?
-
This is what I was getting at. Some players acted in the best interest of the club. most didn't and I hope they are never seen around Ibrox again. I think Craig mentioned it on another post about Greegs' Turkish club getting nearly £2m only a year after he left us. He could've stayed with us and got another club easy as would most of the other players. We would not have been hard to deal with on transfer fees I'm sure. We lost out on Millions by them leaving.

The Summer 2013 Transfers and Rumours Thread
johnnyk replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm not a big Berra fan but he would be better then what we have just now. On decent wages i'd take him. -
I'd say it's more to do with their age and probably form (or lack of it from Goian). I'm sure if Naismith and Whittaker and others moved over we would've got money for them no problem when they moved on. But like you said all the best to both of them.

hopefully we do the right thing and tell Hearts and their despicable fans to bugger off....

this has to be a joke no thanks to the ginger one from me, if we do change we need to get much better than him.............

johnnyk replied to RANGERRAB's topic in Rangers Chat
everyone's different, for me it's a team game and I love a poacher who does nothing but scores goals but of course it's not for everyone. hopefully he will work hard as well and please more fans than boyd did, of course if he scores goals as well -
Radical Fiscal Changes required at Ibrox: Who's got the Stomach for it?

what a shame I'm glad Ross County held firm, it was terrible pressure they had put on them by these other chairmen, SPL and SFA. I don't understand the rush, it's better getting it right no matter how long it takes. There was some good points but the structure was a joke. The fans didn't want it yet they still wanted to go ahead with it. Doncaster has resign now surely??
-
I don't think all the clubs are listening to their fans on this vote. The majority of fans want a bigger league and no split, I don't think many even understand the 8/8/8 split rubbish!! It's clubs like Dundee Utd and Aberdeen who only last year swore by listening to their fans/customers to punish us severely who are now blanking them and doing what they want! This would put Scottish football back years more than what we have already IMO, not many or any fans want this and the crowds would get even less than they are now, along with sponsorship and TV money which will dwindle rapidly.
-
it's been like that for weeks as far as I know, they always get it wrong anyway
-
For a lot of them I'm sure it depends on what happens in the summer, i.e. if we get a new manager or not. Lots won't come back mainly down to Ally being the manager and his style of play (or lack of it). I will be going again but yesterday was one of the worst games I've seen in a long long time. All the fans want is at least for the players to run their guts out for the team, we've not had that all season and even some of the youngsters are just strolling about now. There is no leader on or off the park and that has to be worrying! Green and the other board members must be watching this crap on the pitch and will see the attendances go down this year and fans starting to complain so they need to do something soon for everyone's benefit.
-
lots of empty seats yesterday but not unexpected really due to our performances, KO time, weather and game on TV. Around 30-35k i'd say nowhere near 20k some are saying Still a great crowd but we deserve much more than what we are getting!!
-
You got Ian Blacks phone number mate
-
He'll not be missed, he doesn't want to be here so hopefully the club will let him go/sack him and get him off the wage bill
-
I'd say especially for the younger players as it's their first major trophy as a Rangers player no matter what league we are in just now, why wouldn't he/they be happy? I can see your points but years from now this will be a major part of our history and I doubt many fans will want to forget like yourself. The football has been very poor of course it has but for the stats our name will be on the trophy.

Kevin Kyle says he's proud of his achievments with Rangers.......
johnnyk replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
He scored for Rangers with one goal at Ibrox, that must be the best feeling in the world -
I lost interest years ago. I can't remember the last time I watched them and can't see me tuning in any time soon. Until things change at all levels I doubt Scotland will produce another world class player for many a year. Sad when you think back to some of the greats we used to have.
