he still played this season m8 so what's your problem with him getting a mention, he helped us big time to get where we were before he left and done more in that time than a lot of others who have been playing all season i'm sure hutton would've been happy being a gers fan

Buffel - please get rid. Cuellar - hope he stays and maybe winning things will help keep him here for another season at least. Burke - not good enough. Boyd - Top scorer must be kept but only if we play him in right formation Gow - give him a chance or let him go, not doing anyone any favours Weir - needs replaced but has been great for us Dailly - i'd say squad player for another year but doubt it Davis - should get him signed, �£3-�£4M Hemdani - good player but been out of sorts for a while and I would let him go Sebo - let him go please

IMO winning any cup is not only a big game but a massive game no matter who it's against. posters on here have said we have won nothing in the past with the likes of boyd in the team, now we have and he did have a big say in it, he still gets slated as it's not against celtic or a european team. How many games has boyd actually played against celtic or in europe? The stats are not in his favour if you looked at it, so what can he do? if he doesn't play very often in these games how will he ever score in them? All he can do is score when he does play no matter who it's against and his goals to games ratio are probably the best in europe at present if not they are not far away. If I am annoying you that much with my 'petty sarcasm' why waste your time replying -

I agree with Gow starting but Buffel is not in Smiths long term plans so I wouldn't give him another game for us. The only reason I can see him playing is to put him in the shop window and get some decent money for him, but I would take anything in the summer just to get rid of him. I would also play the others mentioned and give some regulars a rest....

we can't just dump it as it is this formation that has got us where we are this season. We didn't have the players available to play a 4-5-1 IMO but he changed it early and we won the cup -

I agree with Ian, it would be pretty stupid playing someone who is not match fit for a start and not been quoted for the first team most of the season. We have enough players who are match fit and that have got us in this position so they should surely deserve a game first!! On the bench if we are struggling? at the most but to start in a cup final, why? -
i just don't think he's good enough for us and is certainly no better than what we have just now. it would be a big waste of money IMO if we paid millions for for him. it doesn't help that he has played for them and carried on the way he did after he scored but he is meant to be a rangers fan? and i think moved to them for his family/kids sake as they were the only ones up here offering him silly money at the time and he had to win the fans over which is why he probably done what he did. for me he just isn't good enough.....i didn't want him before he moved to them and i don't want him now.....

he didnt have a good game m8 but i'd rather he was there than not. hemdani, adam and dailly were about the same as fergie so were they all pish as well?, nobody has hardly mentioned them...... we won over the 2 legs that's what it's all about in the uefa cup....
