  1. i agree and there's no chance of the SPL getting much TV income for a long time.........
  2. average at best with pompy, newcastle and charlton IMO.....never seen him play when he was in France... you wonder how these guys make it as professionals and make millions...
  3. I agree, but unless he uses them or any other average team in the EPL as another stepping stone (not many have) or gets offered silly wages he can't turn down (he's not on pennies here though is he), I hate seeing good players going to average teams in the EPL and waste themselves in teams not any better than ourselves and most of the time a lot worse. I think Hutton is the only one I can think of who can improve and go to a better team than Spurs but only time will tell. We wouldn't turn down a bid of £8-£10M IMO.

I agree, very good commentators and in the studio and very unbiased and positive towards Rangers and Scottish football unlike the Scottish channels........
  5. there's a price for everyone, especially the silly money the EPL have at their disposal........with SDM at the helm we are a selling club as much as anyone else.
  6. we can't play the same system on sunday or it will cost us IMO. even WS said it hasn't worked against them the last 'twice' so surely he can't do this again, we need to win and attack more. As Frankie said a few players look tired so why not give others a chance. I was shouting for naismith to come on last night for davis or even put on boyd up front as you could see the players were knackered near the end but it never happened. Why he doesn't use all the subs is baffling and frustrating but we are still in the tie and that is obviously the managements main aim.
  7. i'll need to pace myself m8, but it's gonna be hard wi alki's like you and hastie, Frankie's alright tho it might be a long day if we decide to go the casino afterwards as well, as long as i don't lose too much on the national during the day
  8. I think by that time it'll all taste the same to me m8, i'll pop over for a glass anyway tho
  9. now worries m8 you at our table
  10. Frankie what's the score here
  11. can't afford all the games ...........got a big day/night/day out on sat/sun coming up
  12. 3-1 for me.........
  13. aren't they all m8
  14. no problem m8
  15. I don't know what's more depressing Michael or Katie At least Katie is pretty good looking  The wife likes Michael I'm sure so they won't get wasted if I was lucky enough to win them ...........
  16. damn so that wasn't real
  17. i'd say the majority of players would have done the same thing, and if you look at every game i'm sure you would see at least one attempt to win/con a free kick every game. it's been part of the game probably since it started and it will be here forever!! there always seems to be something else in the headlines rather than the result in old firm games. hardly a thing has been mentioned about mcmanus and his tackle on JCD and borats antics which were far worse IMO.. this thommo thing has been blown way over the top.
  18. sure it would be front page news if anything like that happened!!
  19. YOU ARE THE PEOPLE! FANS praised for atmosphere at Old Firm clash RANGERS and supporters' organisations today praised fans for the atmosphere they created at Saturday's Old Firm match at Ibrox. Kenny Scott, the Club's Safety and Operations Manager, said: "The fans created a tremendous atmosphere on Saturday and we are pleased to say the police were satisfied with the way things went. "When it is such a tense fixture there is always a concern that it could be a difficult afternoon but the fans deserve credit for making it a great afternoon." Jim Templeton, President of the Rangers Supporters' Assembly, said: "Football fans are forever getting stick but it was a very good atmosphere at Ibrox on Saturday and I think we put on a very colourful display. The fact that everyone joined in singing 'Come on Over to My Place' after the final whistle said it all. "The fans can now look forward to another great European night on Thursday against Sporting Lisbon."
  20. the old ones are always the best
  21. my blue specs are off m8, can't I have an opinion on it? you've got your opinion fair enough but i've got mine too, i don't think it was a blatant dive, I can see your point but not your problem with it
  22. yes and it did as he has said as he was playing for the foul. not a blatant dive IMO....
  23. it's between the 3 of them IMO as well, all have been outstanding for us..... Carlos for me, then McShagger, then Weir for me though.
  24. it's all about opinions m8, he took the ball past the striker and he never moved and as Tommo said was he just to jump out of the way or play for the foul? he played for the foul and got hurt but IMO not a blatant dive. we won so I don't really care either, not got a voice left after the game
  25. he said he played for the foul which most in that position would do but didn't dive and I agree.
