  1. yes i would also but if we had won the uefa cup i would take that over the league. you don't win the cup unless you get to the final it just didn't work out..
  2. it's all about opinions m8, but we won't move forward IMO with some or all of these players, just not good enough for me. One thing about adam is when he tries things about 1 out 100 comes off, not good enough IMO.....
  3. surely we could sell some of them on?
  4. so you think these players are good enough then to take us forward and improve? squad players maybe but quality first team players not for me. we must be aiming for better than this. Hemdani - one of the worst players all season IMO, too defensive for the SPL Weir - long season took it's toll and too old now IMO for another, back up yes Boyd - unless he has a partner up front and quality to his feet/head he's not much good Ferguson - not had a great season IMO we must be aiming for better no matter how much he loves the club McCulloch - started ok but done nothing for most of the season IMO Adam - talented but very lazy player who still acts like a 6 year old on the park when things don't go his way Webster - injury prone what a waste of money Davis - started great but has done nothing for a while, looks tired, gives nothing going forward IMO Dailly - again started OK, back up fine but first team no way.
  5. I don't want him and don't think he will improve the team one bit. if he does sign then to me it shows we have no ambition or intention of bringing in quality players.
  6. such as Fraser?
  7. would everyone still be happy if PSG had still been here, the stick WS is getting is well OTT IMO. This season was all about getting us back into finals and challenging in the league and we have done that. If we don't win the league next season playing better football I would be very disappointed. If this doesn't happen someone else will come in simple.
  8. I doubt we would get rid of them all as you say but if we got rid of a few I would be happy. I would maybe only keep McCulloch, Adam, Boyd and Ferguson if we didn't get a good price for him, but can you see Barry sitting on the bench if we got a better player in or would WS ever think about dropping him? The rest can go for me. Weir as back up only and coaching would be great idea but he might want another full season before he retires? From what I've been hearing from the reserves lowing has not been making great progress to deserve getting a first team call up but I've not seen him so I won't write him off. I hope furman gets a good chance next season.
  9. sorry m8 we'll agree to disagree on this as usual, when has buffel ever had a cutting edge since he's been here, like you said somewhere else if we had a class midfield to help the likes of boyd and another stirker he might fit in but as we don't I doubt he would IMO. and we have not seen any of gow to even suggest he is good enough for Rangers and probably never will.
  10. Sell/release Hemdani Gow Buffel Weir Cousin Burke (unlikely due to his injury) Boyd (unless he plays to his strengths) Ferguson (if we can a good price and bring in better quality) McCulloch Adam Sebo Give loans back: Webster Faye Davis Dailly Bring in a right back, centre half, 2 new midfielders, a good attacking winger and a striker GK = McGregor/Alexander RB = Whittaker/new RB CH = Cuellar/New CH with Broadfoot/Papac as cover LB = Smith/Papac RM = New CM = Thomson CM = New LM = Beasley/New ST = Boyd/JCD ST = New

    Kris Boyd

if we play to his strengths keep him but if not let him go for everyone's sake!!
  12. i don't know if you are being serious or not gribz? if you are then with the tatics we have been playing these 2 would not have made one bit of difference IMO. you know i don't rate buffel, we need someone with at least twice his ability and 100 times more heart. Gow must not be impressing in trainnig or the reserves or i'm sure he would have at least had played somes games this season or been on the bench more it's a weird one but again with WS tatics I doubt he would've made much difference but you never know. I would love to see more youngsters get a chance as well but again with WS we know that rarely happens which is a shame.
  13. when you look at last season you have to say this one has been a success. made it to 3 cup finals, 1 already won, strong favs on sat and in our first european final for 36 years. also taking the league to the last day after losing it by 13 points and 18 points in the seasons before. WS came to get us back on track as we were in some state only a year and a half ago. we are all sick just now and feeling the same way (i never slept last night and still feel sick) but he is the manager and has done what he thought was best, that is what he gets paid for. If next season we don't buy quality and we get more of the same then we must question him and where we are going but if we are being realistic then we have probably done too well this season with the squad we have. If we had went out of the cups earlier we would most certainly have won the league IMO but we didn't and inevitably paid the price. the scum went out of the cups and europe much earlier than us and only had one target left and even then they only just won it (or we lost it). They are not a better team than us IMO and they never played any more attractive football (just ask their fans) but they have won the league so they will say they are and have of course, it's a fine line. I want WS to stay but if we don't improve both our players and style of play then I think even WS will know he won't last much longer.
  14. i agree to some extent but i don't think it's the players fault they earn megabucks now. and i don't think anyone would turn it down, it's just a different era........
  15. At the time celtic got the game called off for a player who hardly played for them and left years ago. The team he played against when he tragically died asked to have their game posponed as well and you would think they had more of a case than celtic but they got refused. Rangers were in no win situation, if they said no we would have been more hated if that's possible. If one team was allowed to do this then they all should have been. IMO Dundee Utd had much more of a case than celtic to have their game called off. Why didn't they say at the time we should go and win the game for Phil like they are saying we are going to try and win the game and the league for Tommy now?
  16. seemingly he's wanting at least £50k a month
  17. I haven't seen much of lovenpants since he left and if he has improved then yes and if we play him in his best position then yes also, but if he's still the same player then no thanks.
  18. is it official m8? I was just reading this today. http://setantasports.com/en/Sport/News/Football/2008/05/21/Bundesliga-Klasnic-linked-to-duo/?facets/sport-space/great-britain-locale/football/
  19. at this moment i would not pay £3m for davis. i would sign finnan for £2m but even an average team in the EPL would offer more wages so very unlikely. I think hibs would want more than £3m for fletcher, more £4-5m and no way would I pay that. we'll probably sign klasnic on a free, far better target man than we just now.....
  20. we won't get punished. a few hundred fans or so called fans causing bother out of 200,000 after been on the bevy all day and after what happend is not as bad as what some reports are saying IMO. i saw fans with russian tops on throwing bottles at police as well as gers fans when we were coming back from the game. the police didn't help matters and didn't know what to do. they came in a few vans got out and ran into another very strange. some of the footage i've seen is pretty bad but i wonder how many are supporters who go every week and how many are scottish and rangers fans? one of our mates who didn't get a ticket said there was bother from liverpool fans who were throwing bottles at gers fans during the game as well....some people just go for bother anyway and there's not much anyone can do to stop them no matter what. with the amount of people there i was expecting some bother, it's not nice but I think expected.....for me manchester was not prepared neither were the police... they shut pubs early and stopped all the trains and then hardly had any buses on to replace them for people needing to get out of manchester which i thought they would have wanted. we stood for hours and very luckily got a taxi back to widnes. hundreds were not so lucky, it was a total shambles and it could've caused more trouble....
  21. travelling down with Frankie and a few other mates early tomorrow, see you down there...........WATP
  22. Totally agree with the boycot and hope this happens and not just to utd....... A link to McCurry defending his actions..... http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news.cfm?newsid=3948
  23. I know what you are saying m8, but I still think when someone says ya 'hun' B*****D, they usually mean ya proddy/rangers B*****D. When someone says ya 'tim' B*****D, they usually mean ya catholic/celtic B*****D. Maybe i'm wrong but that's the way i've always seen it.
  24. away ya HUN B*****D Doesn't really bother me TBO.......IMO just the same as calling they scum TIMS..........
