  1. Yes there seems to be a few newbies on recently just to cause arguments (nothing wrong with that) but show no respect at all to others on here, they should stick to FF if they want to cause bother!!!
  2. welcome aboard Andrius
  3. then we linked to Lee Wilkie http://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/output/2008/06/16/story11512759t0.shtm

  5. Rangers are on the trail of Monaco left-back Leandro Cufre, while striker Andrius Velicka has flown to Glasgow to complete his move to Ibrox. (Daily Record) France and Barcelona defender Lillian Thuram says both Old Firm clubs are vying for his signature. (Daily Express) Dundee United will not allow midfielder Morgaro Gomis leave amid speculation Rangers are poised to move for the former Cowdenbeath player. (Daily Mail) Rangers are no nearer completing the signing of Fulham midfielder Steven Davis. (The Herald)
  6. This is not the reason for me, I just don't think he's good enough. IMO mojo was far worse for an ex tim signing for us, again IMHO if this is the only reason people don't want him to sign then they need to look at themselves sorry..... And for the money situation you have to look after yourself and your family which he is doing IMO.....I'm sure there are plenty of others who would do the same, even though the majority of Rangers fans would say otherwise. Until you are in that situation you never know. If smith and Ally are here for a while then so will KM, our fans better get used it he won't go away just like that!!!
  7. I thought as much but wasn't too sure
  8. don't think it was the scouting system as such though m8, we had him before and WS and Ally worked with him at Scotland and it's not as if he's not well known. The likes of hearts take chances on players from europe and some have paid off big style and they have made good profits from them. Same as Hibs, Dundee Utd etc all pick up bargains from europe or lower clubs unlike us......
  9. I know it's a gamble on most players but how is it most other clubs in the SPL seem to pick up good players and see good potential and we don't? Is our scouting system that bad or non existent that we can't get bargains anymore?
  10. Rangers forward Jean-Claude Darcheville insists he's staying at Ibrox, despite the arrival of Kenny Miller and Andrius Velicka. (Sunday Mail)
  11. OK a lot of fans didn't want him to sign for us including me, but the fact is he has, get over it, he will be here for at least 3 years and probably first team pick, well to start with anyway. I don't think he's good enough but he might prove me wrong who knows, if he does then I will be the first to post on here and say so, if not then I will also say my piece . Every Rangers player will always get my full backing on the pitch simple. Any fan who boos him or any player when they play for us need to have a long hard look at themself IMO, this is the kind of support Rangers don't need IMO.
  12. Every email and question I have asked has had a promp reply. I may not agree with the answer but they have always replied to me.
  13. We can't say how much value clubs put on players especially down south. But i'm sure there are better players out there for £2m somewhere, that's what's scouts are meant to do and get paid for is it not??
  14. it's just my opinion m8, of course it could go wrong every player is a gamble no matter how much they cost but we need to buy better quality to even have a chance of getting back on top. If we spent about that amount on the right players then we would IMO but I know it's not that easy. There are surely better players out there for £2m than the likes of miller even in the SPL he has hasn't really been that good IMO, hard worker that's it for me. I don't know why we don't look at other european leagues for bargains and take a chance and get 1 or 2 big names in if we can for at least £5m.
  15. welcome to Rangers Kenny
  16. Miller first of strike treble http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/display.var.2339376.0.0.php
  17. think that's just a training top m8........
  18. what a waste of money.......
  19. shit i should've keep my mouth shut
  20. i hope so too m8 but it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't get much to spend!!! If Rangers or even the scum invested say £20m on players they could dominate for years to come IMO...........but i don't think either will........
  21. how much we getting for buffel gribz
  22. usual crap paper talk for me m8, cousin fair enough but don't think JCD will go but saying that I never ever thought we'd sign someone as average as miller back for nearly £2m but looks like we are soon
  23. EVERTON have joined West Brom in the chase for Rangers midfielder Kevin Thomson. Record Sport revealed last week Baggies boss Tony Mowbray has set aside £4 million of his new Premiership budget and plans to test the resolve of the Ibrox club to hold on to a player who cost them just £2m when they signed him from Hibs 18 months ago. But now Goodison manager David Moyes has also declared his interest in Thomson as he scours Euro 2008 in search of an entirely new midfield for next season. Moyes - who is bracing himself for a big-money bid from Sevilla for his star man Mikel Arteta - wants to bring in at least four new players for Everton's engine room before the big kick-off at the end of next month and Thomson's name is high on his wanted list. Both Moyes and Mowbray are now set to weigh in with offers but they are likely to encounter strong resistance from Ibrox boss Walter Smith, who sees Thomson as a central part of his long-term plans. However, Smith is working on a shoestring budget of his own this summer and - with little more than £6m available to him - he could be faced with a very difficult decision if a big bid comes in. Kenny Miller should finally complete his £1.9m move from Derby today. Negotiations had stalled between the player's agent and Rangers chief executive Martin Bain but both parties were close to reaching agreement on a deal last night. And it seems certain the deal will go through today before Miller flies to the USA on holiday.
  24. yes on the front and back page of today's sun.......
  25. RANGERS have targeted £1.75 million-rated Sporting Lisbon striker Milan Purovic for a shock move to Ibrox. And towering hitman Purovic is ready to snub clubs in Turkey and Germany to link up with the Light Blues. Walter Smith is in the market for a powerful centre-forward to beef up the Rangers attack and has turned his attentions to the 6ft 4 in Monetnegrin international. Burnley's £ 4million-rated Kyle Lafferty is proving an expensive option and a swoop for Viking Stavanger's Andrius Velicka is not signed and sealed. Even if the deal to land former Hearts man Velicka can be concluded there is still room for Purovic with Daniel Cousin and Jean Claude Darcheville likely to head for the Ibrox exit and doubts remaining over Kris Boyd's future. Sporting Lisbon are ready to sell the 23-year-old Purovic fter he failed to settle in the Portuguese capital following a move from Red Star Begrade. http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/48107
