good mix there and i hope we keep boyd and he does want to stay. i think JCD will stay but certainly hope someone takes cousin of our hands!!
-
welcome Kyle, live the dream!!
-
if we pay £2m for KM then pay £3m+ and gow for lafferty then let boyd go for say £2.5-£3m then that just doesn't make sense to me. can't see the logic of letting our top scorer for the last 3 seasons go on the cheap and then not replacing him with another proven goalscorer, unless WS has one ready and waiting??
-
never seen him play m8 is he that bad? his scoring record looks ok as well with ajax and werder.......
-
too many, we need some quality midfielders soon....... this guy is another tall striker but has a decent scoring record and would be less of a gamble than lafferty...........

Rangers linked with an interest in Werder Bremen forward Markus Rosenberg in the Swedish media. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1027611/Rangers-SPL-attempt-peace-pact-Gers-wait-Gow-agree-Burnley.html

RANGERS were today ready to offer Alan Gow a financial sweetener so they can seal the signing of giant Burnley striker Kyle Lafferty. SportTimes can reveal that Gow's agent, Phil McTaggart, held talks with Gers chief executive Martin Bain at Murray Park this morning. On Tuesday, Rangers struck a £3million deal plus add-ons for Northern Ireland internationalist Lafferty, with Gow offered as a makeweight http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/display.var.2351756.0.0.php

Rangers could miss out on both Kyle Lafferty, as Alan Gow is not sure he wants to join Burnley as part of the deal, and also Steve Davis, as Fulham want £4m for him (Daily Record).

buffel can produce magic, tell me when he has m8 as i've never seen it from him best disappearing act during a game is what i usually see from him, but it's not the magic we all want to see though
-
he's got more of a chance than buffel or sebo m8
-
we'll just need to play boyd more then m8

RANGERS hitmen Kris Boyd and Jean-Claude Darcheville today promised to fight for their futures after Ibrox gaffer Walter Smith's £6million summer striker spending spree. Smith is hoping to finalise the signing of £3million Kyle Lafferty from English Coca-Cola Championship club Burnley today. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/display.var.2348714.0.0.php

before his injury smith was a better player at the time than hutton and a better prospect. he was getting regualr games, attacking down the left and even getting sight of goal and scoring. hutton came on leaps and bounds in a short space of time after his injury and hopefully smith will as well but you are right he might never get near the level where hutton got to before he left us.

all i said was to me he is the most natural goal scorer we have had since ally and ally also missed quite a few chances in games but always scored. ally was playing in a better team than boyd, he got more chances and got better as he got older IMO. boyd didn't play many games last season but still finished our top scorer doesn't that say anything? he has also scored from outside the box such as free kicks which says to me he is not just a poacher. he needs to work on his first touch and holding the ball and bringing others into play of course he does and think he will know that as well and with ally teaching and telling him maybe he will. if we played to his strengths then he could be the difference next season IMO. i don't think he will ever get to mccoist's record or be as good as mccoist but unless we play him and to his strengths then we will never know.....
-
still scores more than anyone we have at the club simple, fluffer or not m8.... super ally never fluffed any did he
-
he virtually won us the 2 cups and had a great goals to games ratio as well. just because he doesn't run himself into the ground like other players some fans don't like him. He is improving his game and hopefully will much more. he gets slagged off for not scoring in the big games or against the big clubs, if he doesn't play in them how is he ever going to do that??
-
still can't understand why people want to get rid of the most natural scorer we have at the club and have had for quite some time.
-
one with sadly no balls

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/r/rangers/7459414.stm Lets hope he goes......
-
he is still young but has 16 caps albeit for NI so he has some international experience as well.....
-
I'm sure you can ask for your money back (unless they have been used to buy shares for Gersave) or get the shares put in your name and the certificate sent to you. Or you can leave them in the gersave scheme. Did you email them through the website itself? I found I got an answer doing it that way. Cheers, John PS I took mine out last week and got most of the cash back, and the rest in shares.....
-
going from bad to worse it seems, I can see them struggling to get supporters back on side after this....
-
exactly, as I said most would go the premiership first no matter who it's with. you do however get some who want to come here like prso.........we can try as hard as we want but if someone offers you the chance to play against man utd, chelsea, arsenal, liverpool every season and pays you £50k+ how many would turn that down???
-
Most players just want to play in the best leagues no matter if the team is mid table or fighting relegation IMO. Also we can't compete with any of the teams in the EPL on wages and probably most of the championship sides either!! I think players who do take a chance and come here realise how big Rangers are and they can win trophies, play in Europe every year and be worshiped by the fans........ Kyle is still quite young and can learn and he always looked one of the better players in most games I've seen him play. We need quality midfielders now and wingers who can cross a ball

KYLE LAFFERTY will arrive in Glasgow this afternoon to complete a £3million move to Rangers. The Ibrox side beat off Celtic - who had offered £2.65m plus add-ons, including Derek Riordan - for the highly-rated Northern Ireland striker. Rangers, though, have also added a player to the deal and it's believed Alan Gow will move to Burnley. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football-news/scottish-football/spl-football/rangers-fc/2008/06/17/exclusive-rangers-set-to-complete-3m-kyle-lafferty-deal-today-86908-20610307/ Are we going to miss out the midfield all together next season
