Despite scoring a superb goal for Rangers in their 4-2 win over Celtic yesterday, Daniel Cousin could be moving on. The Gabonese hitman, who was sent off against the Hoops, could be on the brink of a loan move to Hull City. Jean-Claude Darcheville, who was omitted from the Rangers squad yesterday, has been linked with a move to AEK Athens although no official bid has been received from the Greek club. Rangers did this morning accept a bid of around £250,000 for Alan Gow from Blackpool. Gow would prefer to re-launch his career at Tynecastle but, in the eventuality that no move to Edinburgh happens, he is likely to make the Blackpool switch. Brahim Hemdani last week rejected the chance of a move to Turkish club Kocaelispor. But Rangers are keen to get the midfielder, who earns £17,000 a week, off their wage bill. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/display.var.2437499.0.0.php

I would say so yes but for some reason he doesn't so in the end it will be him losing out I agree. Maybe he knows something we don't or actually thinks he can break through i don't know but it's certainly a strange situation.
-
Fair enough buy until I was in that situation I don't know what I would do TBO. Take easy money for doing virtually nothing apart from keeping fit or go get a first team game at a much lower level club for much less money. He's not the first and won't be the last to do this. Maybe he has no ambition to move or just can't be arsed.
-
the difference with gow and cousin is cousin has said he wants to leave i don't think gow has ever said that. i don't like anyone staying taking money for doing nothing but i can see why they do it.
-
don't be silly m8 :admin:
-
and you m8, i wish as we all do that we were on his wages doing nothing but keeping fit everyday
-
Maybe as someone said he is happy to be playing reserve football or doing nothing for the next few years and get paid for doing so, if he is happy then it's up to him. You mentioned other clubs matching his wages but he said he wanted to stay in Scotland and again as you said no one else can match his wages up here so it's a catch 22 situation then. I'm sure he will get a move sometime even if he doesn’t play for the next 2 years he will also have earned quite a bit to live comfortably as well. It may sound like I am defending Gow to the hilt but I'm not but I can also see where he is coming from.
-
do you believe every rumour you here persistent or not m8? Maybe they are true but they also may not be true! if you were in his position i'm sure you think differently and look after yourself and family first and foremost if not then you're a better man than me. Would you take a massive wage cut and lose out in thousands just to play first team football and be at a team he may not want to be at? I know he will still get more than most fans would ever get wherever he went but I can see his point of view as well for staying. We gave him the contract and if we want to get rid of him we need to pay him off, it's not all his fault IMO.
-
We signed him and agreed his wages so unless we pay him off surely he can do what he feels is best for him? Him being a Gers fan I doubt he isn't giving his all to break in to the first team and if he is not then he should be ashamed but he shouldn't be persecuted for rejecting 3 clubs he doesn't feel right about should he?
-
again your opinion m8 can't i say what i think and feel ffs....
-
fair enough but if you get a jekyll and hyde player like cousin the manager can only do so much IMO. you can't just blame the manager when he has a bad game surely? and IMO there is a place for boyd playing that system......
-
so someone who plays good in 1 game every so often is good enough for you still? if he played like that every game i would have him in my team as well before boyd but he doesn't end of story IMO. Same as your other hero buffel too inconsistent by far....... as i said hemdani went from our best player one season to our worst IMO the next. we don't need him in the SPL again IMO.......
-
it's worth a bet m8 anything can happen in that game, i might have a dabble myself on Villa TBO
-
chasing your money now.........
-
ouch sore one ..........but we won though
-
exactly i don't think anyone has ever doubted his ability on here just his attitude and commitment........great goal....
-
I know he hasn't been match fit or played much but I can't mind his last decent game for us. he was woeful last season IMO.
-
I know it's the NOTW but thought i'd post it anyway. ---------------------- RANGERS tried to offload FIVE misfits to over 30 English sides in the past week without success. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/scottish/scottish_sport/article19575.ece
-
i'll not get over it for the rest of the season at least and i'm gutted watching the draw but i certainly hope the players are so we can win the league back. they have to move on and use it to spur them on there's nothing they can do about it now no matter how hard it was to take........
-
Edu straight in the squad for Sunday........if he arrives here in time..... Lafferty should be fit as well....... http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,5~1374818,00.html
-
I know m8 nothing wrong with using your arm these days it seems......
-
Well that's 3 very big decisions IMO they have had so far and one very big one against us. You don't need to moan but others can surely? As has been said these things can be the difference between winning or losing the league if you are happy the way things are going officials wise then good on you........and if they keep happening will you still say shit happens move on!!
-
Have you seen the scums first goal yesterday came off his arm so clearly..... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=azf4gTEcjwU
